Recently purchased a Ford Transit from them. They delivered the car to Grand Forks for a test drive and again when we purchased which saved us money and time out of our day. Helpful and efficient to work with through the entire transaction.

New staff and team were awesome! Ira and the guys got me going in very short order! If you haven't been to Thief River Ford for a while because of one thing or another, I would recommend giving them another shot. Very different experience than in the past and in a great way.

Bought a new WIFE vehicle this week from Jared and Aaron at Thief River Ford and they are great! Live in Mandan ND, they met us in Fargo ND with the Bronco and traded our Durango in to them all seamlessly in Fargo. They were Honest, Knowledgable, responsible, straight forward, and simply made things happen exactly as they said they would the entire time! Great Small Town Dealership that feels small town like I like it!

Best car dealer in northern MN. Steve and his crew provide excellent customer service and you are treated like family there. We have bought a dozen vehicles from Steve in the last 15 years and just complete another purchase. Wouldn t even think of going anywhere else.

Had my truck for almost 3 weeks, I had to help diagnose the problem over the phone too which they then "found the problem" $4k later first time using since I brought it home same problem...still not sure how they determined I had 3 bad injectors with bad pressure regulator so no accurate way to test them and I told them to check regulator and pump! NEVER GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE!!...Plus during inspection they found other safety issues like shocks a brakes but didn't even say a word just typed it and let me walk away with an unfixed truck and more problems than I knew aboutUpdate... 250 for motorcraft part from Rock Auto and an hour of my time and I fixed my fuel system myself thanks for charging me $3200 for nothing.... apparently your techs can't even follow a TSB step by step to fix something properly

I bought a 2015 Ford Edge Tatanium from another dealer. I have had it for 7 days. My driver's door latch doesn't work right. I went to this place to see if they could give me some advice or even take a look at it to see what was wrong. The head service guy told me flat out..... Take it to an auto body shop. We don't do that stuff here. Well, guess what. I will never bring my vehicle here. EVER . I have never heard anything good about this dealership. Especially if you don't buy from them. Guess that's true.

My wife and I purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport in August from Thief River Ford and our experience was amazing. We did not feel any pressure to buy and felt as though we were in control of the entire sales experience, not the sales staff.Gregg Gallagher was an amazing salesperson. He explained several things we weren't aware of in a way that was easy to understand.They gave us a superb value for our trade in and helped us negotiate an aggressive interest rate on our new vehicle loan.The car we bought had some small issues such as needing new tires, brakes, and part of the hood repainted due to flaking paint. They included all of this as part of our purchase price which was way less than we'd initially anticipated.Their after-sale customer care has been amazing. They've called me on several occasions asking how like the vehicle, if we're having any issues, etc.We will gladly do business there again.

Upon my last visit to have an Oil Change and Tire Rotation i was informed that all my lug nuts are in need of replacing. I was then told that this is a known issue with my F-150 and that it would cost around $200.00 for all 24 lug nuts to be replaced. I asked why on my previous oil and tire rotation that i was not informed of the condition of the lug nuts, since they must have been showing wear at that time. My second oil change and tire rotation was about 3,000 miles past the bumper to bumper warranty that the service manager admits would have covered this. Again i asked why i was not informed about this on my previous visit? At that point i was told that the truck is out of warranty now and nothing can be done about getting the lug nuts replaced at no charge and my only option is paying the $200 to replace them. i was told the new lug nuts carry a 2 year warranty and are made better than the originals. i am not sure if that was supposed to make me feel better or not. The truck was purchased only 4 months ago and i feel should be taken care of under warranty. by the dealership. i ran my own business for 25 years and many times took care of my customers even if it was just past the warranty period. That is called good customer service and keeps customers coming back. This incident has really changed my feelings about this dealership and how they take care of their customers.

I have been in twice to have my F-350 worked on, it was great to have people smiling and being considerate. They finished hours ahead of my expectations, with a well done job. I have also used their Quick lane service center and with great results.

Fixed my car very quickly, only had to wait 1 day to get it serviced.However, labor was $300 and parts were $50.Could be cheaper with labor.

My husband and I took our truck I'm a few weeks ago to get our tires rotated, had asked for a inspection of the velichle to tell us what else was all needing to be fixed. We specifically asked them to check out read end fluid and wheel bearings. When we picked it up the mechanic we spoke to told us the rear end was fine but needed some work done. Also was told the wheel bearings were fine. Well, driving for a few days and come to find out out rear axle was bone dry and had absolutely no fluid in it, so we had to buy a whole new rear end because the gears were fried. We got home a few days ago and jacked our truck up and put our summer tires and rims on, come to find out the wheel bearings are completely shot. We had a 8 hour drive home, we could have actually died, going 75 on the interstate the whole way home, if the wheel assembly would've fallen off because of the wheel bearings. I called the dealer yesterday and told him about what had happened, I spoke to the service manager, Reed I think his name was. Had absolutely no remorse for there screw ups! All he said was "it doesn't say that in the notes" well when you go pick up a velichle the mechanic isn't reading verbatim from the notes! Reed ended up hanging up on me in the middle of what I was saying. Absolutely will never go back to that dealership and we will be talking to the main boss, horrible customer service.

If I could give them a 0, I would. My son went up to have his tire checked out because it was leaking air. Was told the tire could not be fixed. They told him they could put new tires on today. So he left went uptown to get money to pay for the tires and when he came back was told they couldn't put on the tires he would have to make an appointment. Now this is a problem because we live a hour away from Thief River and it is -20 and colder with the wind chill. He is driving on a tire that can go flat at anytime and could possibly be stranded on the highway. Not a happy customer!

Will never go back! Bunch of young kids with no experience working in the bays! They cost me alot of money. Over torqued all my lug nuts damaging them. Also didn't install my ram air intake correctly during an oil change.Engine light came on and had to take in for troubleshooting. That oil change cost me over $200!

Hello,I am new to Thief and was online looking for a rental vehicle and Thief River Falls Ford popped up. So I called and spoke to Rachel...Rachel advised me that the Dealership does not provide that service. Then she immediately offered me more information about who and where I could possibly contact.Rachel also gave me the phone number and hours of operation.She was very friendly and just willing to help!As I stated I am new to Thief, but have been in the automotive industry for over 15 years. I arrived at 2:30 pm on Sat. They are open until 4pm. I was told there were 2 oil changes coming so I couldn't get an oil change. I thought they could do at least 5 or 6 in an hour. There were no vehicles in any bay. Obviously they don't want business.Never going to try this place again.

When using them for service they are consistently about 2-3X the price of an independent dealer. Then when trying to get service with a Service Contract, or extended warranty, through EasyCare they don t accept it, even though its just paid over the phone. Complete waste of time trying to work with TR Ford.

I called at 11:20 am to get a tire fixed and they told me that they could get me in at noon I was there around 11:45 and they got me in right away it was about 45 minutes and my car was done very good job I am satisfied with them

Had 4 new tires put on at Quick Lube, and they got me the 120.00 rebate as well. They honored the price they quoted me, everything was as expected.

Left my front tire lug nuts loose and ended up having to get my studs replaced. They gave me a free lube, oil and filter for my next visit. they probably need to check the lugs with a torque wrench or have a second person check the lug nuts before the vehicle leaves.

Thief River Ford lied about detailing the inside of my car, didn t buff out easy to remove scratches from the exterior and failed to fix the remote starter in my vehicle! The salesperson was as friendly as a carnie and it was an overall horrible first car buying experience! I will never return to this dealership, nor would I recommend them to anyone!

Quick Service, honest and friendly mechanics. Reasonable rates. I would definitely go here for service on my Ford vehicle.
