$450 quote to replace an intermittent/faulty switch which opens the rear hatch on an Astro van. Need to replace the latch. Brought it to another GM dealer for second opinion and they lubed up the latch/assembly and the tech adjusted the gate so less binding for a fraction of the cost and now works perfectly. Third time Northern Motors has shown their ability for poor diagnosing, workmanship, and outrageous price for parts not needed.Update for response from Northern Motors: I brought in a v6 after developing a miss after I changing plugs and wires. Diagnoses from Northern Motors was #6 spark plug wire fell off the plug and Northern Motors mechanic put the plug wire back on $150. I made it down the road <5 miles and miss fire returned. Long story short, the end of the plug wire was defective so I ended up changing it with warranty wires from Napa as the wires were new. When I called Northern Motor to inform about the $150 and the issue not caught, all Northern Motors would do is say sorry and we ll talk with the mechanic. Fixing so people don t have to bring it back over and over and over should not have been in your response to my complaint. If you want me to list my last complaint about Northern Motors, let me know.

Greatful for the service team being willing to double and triple check something that I asked for even when at first they couldn t identify the problemWhat they did find, was a loose bolt and believe you me, that s all it took to not deal with exhaust fumes coming up into my cab anymore. Was treated well and got me in quick for an appt to look at a truck. Deal was quick and easy for a very fair price! Lucky to find the truck I wanted when there were very few across the whole state that fit my needs. Great experience..worth the 240 mile one way drive!

Charged $234 for one hour labor after being told $135 per hour from a car salesman and $80 from others. Urge others to go somewhere where they're honest to customers. I have, on paper, the quote of $130 for 1.5 hrs/$195 extended if longer. The labor was after 9am to before 10am, less than 1 hr labor. The receipt says $234 for labor. BBB contacted about this place. Can't wait for the robotic lie response they will post.

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Worst dealership experience ever, sales manager, Shane, is lazy and disrespectful. Wouldn t buy a car from this place if it were free. Called an hour ahead and the car wasn t even touched when we got there. Had to clean off the windshield ourselves while he watched and was told to drive a car we wanted to buy on tires with low pressure. Additionally, was told to sell our car somewhere else and buy from them. Told we couldn t get a better deal on trade in because they would have to vacuum it prior to reselling.

Our buying experience was very smooth and enjoyable. Shane, our salesman, was very knowledgeable, kind, and right to the point. Between the phone calls and text messages, this made the process easy for us. Well worth the 100 mile trek to get out pick up we have been looking for. Very disappointed with this dealership. Last week we bought a used truck from them. We worked with the sales manager. Right out of the gate it seemed as though he couldn t care less if we bought the vehicle or not. It is 2017 ram diesel. I asked him what service work had been done when they took the truck in. He said it just needed an oil change and tires so they did that. I asked him if the fuel filters needed to be replaced. All diesels need them replaced every 15k to 25k miles. This truck has 28k on it. He told me that I didn t need worry about the filters for a long time. After buying it and driving home I found the fuel filter life on the dash menu and it was down to 3% life left. I called and told him about it and he was absolutely floored and had no clue. So I asked if he could do anything about it since I specifically asked him if the filters were good and he said that they were. He said he would get back to me. I didn t hear anything for 3 days so I reached out again. The best he would be able to do for me is give me one filter (even though it takes two to replace) and I would be responsible for getting the work done elsewhere. The point is, instead of admitting he made a mistake and making it right with the customer, he chose to claim no responsibility. We spent $42,000 with this place and he couldn t foot a $200 bill on his own mistake. Worst customer service I have ever experienced with a dealership.The sales manager we worked with responded the day I posted this review. Below is our text exchange. He did not want to resolve the situation, only wanted to argue. Very unprofessional.The sales manager has my number if you would like to discuss anything.

Brought my granddaughter to Northern Motors to buy her first car, told her how much better it was to shop locally so we thought would be the perfect car for a young girl only to have the motor blow up after 6 months. Found out from other people they have had the same experience. I called and told you the check engine light was coming on within the first week after the sale. She brought it in and no action was taken by your staff. After talking to your mechanic it is obvious the car had a problem when we bought it. .Yo I have spoke with 3 people that had a vehicle with extensive repairs within a 6-7 month period of purchasing a car from you

I bought my 2010 Chevy Equinox on Feb 27ishIn the first few weeks I had a tire sensor stop working and had to replace the battery because it was bad, was a dealer battery. Now that's it's nice out and hot, the A/C doesn't work.Makes me wonder how they really inspect trade in veichles. Guess I'd recommend having someone else checkout the veichle before you buy it.

2 factory recalls on the sister's car. Made an appointment, same day, 45 minutes & done. Parts were in stock, done for free. Coffee, tea, & cable TV. Can't beat that service.
