Talked with Troy had told him that I wanted to triple pipe an 1995 xlt special xtra 12 and i also stretched it to a 136 and he set me up with a different crank case and brand new crank shaft. He assembled the crankcase and crank shaft. Wen i received the assembly it was packaged very well. The machine has been awsome and no problems. Thank you for the excellent job you and your people do.

I sent northern crank shafts an obsolete crank shaft out of an 80 s golf cart that you cant buy replacement parts for. They miraculously found a connecting rod out of a polaris motor that matched and got the job done. It was fast, affordable, and they were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely work with them again! Thanks guys!!

Excellent company to work with! Ordered a new crank for my Arctic Cat 8000 from them and had it in two business days and was back on the snow. Didn't even miss a weekend of riding!

Couple weeks back I roasted my mag side piston and cylinder on my XF 800, thought my riding was done. But with the help of Northern Crankshaft yall made it possible to put on another 300 miles before the snow melted!! Thank you very much!!!

I cant say enough positive things about this place, the staff is great and they honored everything they did for us. Its nice to know there are still honest people in the world and that they will go the extra mile for you.I read reviews in order to buy things or to go places, so i give extensive reviews to help people like me know everything there is to know. These are the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the industry. I've trusted them for years to do all my crank work. If you want it done right the first time, they are my only choice. Precision and perfection are their only goal. I will continue to use Northern Crank Shafts for all of my projects and my customer's projects. Thanks again for all your help Troy.

Wow it s getting really easy to get five stars nowadays. Very unhappy with Northern crankshafts work and customer service. I had a snowmobile Crankshaft straightened and welded, after the engine was running it had a horrible vibration, come to find out the crankshaft was bent, at the end of the taper it had .007 run out! The crankshaft came out of a smooth running sled, they ruined it. Too Make matters worse when I called I was basically told I was a liar and I needed to send the crankshaft in for their inspection but they were sure it wasn t their fault, unbelievable! I use to deal with John, when I asked to speak with him apparently he was no longer the owner, there s your problem. I have been build high performance snowmobile engines for +30 years, never have I been treated like this.

Had bad experience . snowmobile motor blew up after they rebuilt it , with only 150ish miles on it . They claimed cold starts caused it ? Always let sled warm up ( 5 to 10 mins before each use)but they said didn't let warm up long enough ? Had to pay for parts & they halfed the labor with me . Cost me $1500 the first time & $800 the second time.
