PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION: I was looking into buying a used car from one of the dealerships that was not too far from Fred s, but I wanted to get it looked at before committing to the purchase. At Fred s they were incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and personable! They discovered a $1k+ issue with the car I was about to purchase and they gave me a quote to bring back to the dealership! I used this to negotiate a way better price on the car and got a great deal. I highly recommend Fred s They re amazing at what they do! Thank you!!

Took care of me for a new set of tires for my Audi - got them shipped in quick and did a great job. Good prices too - what I paid for tires and install was pretty much just the price for the tires if I ordered them online.

I've been to Fred's a couple of times and always had a good experience - they've done good work, on time, and at a very reasonable price. I recently brought my Pilot in to have a noise/vibration checked a few days before a big family road trip in August. They showed me I had a wheel out of alignment and noticeable cupping on a tire with the inside tread edge worn down to almost nothing - definitely not safe for a long trip. They had some Sailun tires in stock, a brand I didn't know, and the price was lower than anything else I found. I hesitated at first but I was short on time and they've always done good work so I went ahead with them. I gotta say, the new tires are GREAT. Right away we went over 2,000 miles in two weeks to Rocky Mountain National Park including driving on Trail Ridge Road. I was VERY thankful I wasn't stuck at 12,000' with a blown tire (or worse). Since then I've also driven on miles of dirt and gravel forest service roads up in Superior National Forest and on wet and slushy roads along the North shore. The tires have been great and super quiet on the highway. Also, with the new tires and corrected alignment, I'm average 2mpg better on the highway. All in all, it's safe to say I recommend these guys.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Great service and free courtesy vehicles so life doesn t stop, when the car s in the shop. And the biggest reason I go here I drive 135,000 miles a year and they have never tried to pressure me to get work done, that I didn t ask for. They tell you what they find, but without the pressure to have it done. I came to the shop with a significant issue for me. I have to keep moving. A dealership, who shall remain nameless, sent me back on the road with an unsafe car. I came to Fred's and Tony went above and beyond the call of duty to get me back on the road again. I was able to get to work and take care of my customers. Our fire department had an ongoing issue with the stock exhaust design of our Polaris Ranger that could possibly compromise patient safety. Fred s tire had the issue resolved and finished in TEN MINUTES! I didn t even have to take the UTV off the trailer.Thanks for your commitment to your community.

I had them install and Old Man Emu suspension kit in a Suzuki and they did great work. Drove it to Costa Rica and back and worth every penny to have it done right. They also sell aggressive tires and are comfortable with custom work. I would highly recommend.

We've had several cars serviced by Fred's over the years, and have always received great service and fair pricing. They have never performed an unneeded repair. A vehicle is fixed right the first time.

We were traveling through and blew a tire on a trailer we were pulling. We pulled into Fred s half an hour before closing time. They got us right in and found a used tire that worked, switched it out and we were on the road again in 20 minutes with only a $32 bill. We were very pleased. Thanks!!

Fred's tire has saved my butt twice this year (...and the year has barely begun). Came out of work with a low/leaking/punctured tire two different times and they got me in right away! Short wait time, courteous staff, affordable price, very happy customer. Since I have literally needed a tire patched 20-30 times in the last 18 years I know when it is done right, the amount of time and cost and they beat out the competition. Changing my review. At one point in time I'd consider going here for my tires and any other issue. yesterday when I popped a tire from a pot hole I got my car towed to Fred's. I asked to have 2 tires put on. They did give me a loaner and they fixed my car within a few hours. As I pick up my vehicle and head right on the highway my traction control light was on. I noticed my wheel was turned facing 10 o'clock and I was going straight.I brought it back with the guy saying he only had tire people here and he didn't have any mechanics so that's why it wasn't seen. They lifted it back up and noticed my tie rod was bent pretty severely. I asked the mechanic how much, he said a FEW GRAND!slowly drove my very dangerous vehicle to Tire pros who gave me a loaner for 1$ and did the job for 300$.... never will be back here again.POSTED THIS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AND THEY BLOCKED ME. IMAGINE THAT.CROOKED A$$ COMPANYYOU DID JUST PUT MY CAR TOGETHER, DIDNT EVEN TEST IT. YOU SAY ILL NEED MORE WORK FROM WHAT TIRE PROS DID? YOURE WRONG. THEY TOOK CARE OF ME, AND MY CAR. Had a slow leak in a tire. This was my first time at Fred's. They were able to accommodate me with short notice and had me back on the road quickly. Unfortunately there was a second leak in the same tire that could not be repaired so they hooked me up with a used tire and got me back on the road within an hour. I was bummed that I had to return but they made things right without any hesitation or even my request.Service: Tires

I trust Fred's Tire for all my tire needs. I especially like the ability of bringing in my travel trailer tires/wheels and a short wait while they replace the tire with ones they have in stock. The other thing I enjoy about Fred's is their flexibility with purchasing tires they don't have in stock. I've had a few cars that I wanted a specific brand or model of tire after researching on tire websites and Fred's ordered the ones I wanted without issue. The shop does a great job as far as getting you in and out with what you need done quickly. Prices are reasonable and website is great, lots of coupons that you can use for future services. highly recommend.

Called made and Alignment appointment that was 3 weeks out, time came, dropped off 2022 F150. Called 45min later and said they couldn't do the Alignment; Truck had too many safety features and would have to be preformed by a dealer. Sounded like they didn't know what they were doing? Brought truck to Norms Tire (Professionals) and they did the Alignment, no problem, two days later.Pretty Upset by the whole experience, thought Fred's would be a little more competent. Not even able to Align one of the most popular trucks out there? I'll never go back, lost my trust and they didn't seem like they even cared.

UPDATED:I can t directly to the tire shop off of a recommendation.Tony, Jason and Keith truly saved the day. 66 hours ago I had my vehicle serviced here. Frank was great, giving a discount and having wonderful service. He got me checked in to return later that day for service.I have 5 matching rims, 1 is bent and ONLY the spare.When I did, I explained to GREG and made it VERY clear, saying it multiple times; The REAR Driver tire was a spare and NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BY THE ONE IN THE TRUNK.He chicken scratched a barely legible note that the mechanics completely MISSED. Good mechanics.I ALMOST drove across the country like that, because Greg writes like a doctor in a mechanics shop. Good job GREG.Thanks fellas! -They forgot to replace valve stems, paid for it n receipt also. 200 miles into journey and I have leaky stems.

Always nervous trying a new service place but I gave it a shot with Fred's Tire when I noticed my vehicle was pulling to the side. They were hassle free and completely professional throughout. Easy to make an appointment. Shop is very nice and comfortable, they had me out of there way faster than I expected. Gave me the break down of what they had adjusted as well as a couple follow up things to keep an eye on. No pushy sales tactics, just helpful advice. I had an appointment for my car today and forgot about it. Ed gave me a call to see if I was still coming and was still able to get me in. My car was fixed in a very reasonable time and for a reasonable cost. We always bring our cars to Fred s due to their being very personable, reliable, honest, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend Fred s Tire for your vehicle repair needs. Ed will do his best to get you fit in the schedule!

This place is absolutely amazing. I was passing through Stillwater and blew a tire on my trailer. By chance, Fred's Tires was nearby. I explained my situation and they went out of their way to help me and get me back on the road. I literally had my new tire mounted and balanced within ten minutes. I realize they probably can't do this type of turn around every day but knowing my situation the went to great lengths to help me get back on the road. From the guy at the counter, the owner and the guy that actually put the tire on the rim, these guys were awesome. Go support Fred's Tire. They deserve the business!Service: Tires

A couple days ago I got my tie rods, an alignment, and tires installed here. The staff were very nice, and professional. They did a great job on my truck. They got the job done very quickly as well, I had my truck back within a couple of hours. My alignment is perfect and my truck drives so nice now. Im very happy with their work and will be going back, I definitely recommend them!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I called them to see if they have a used tire . They said they have it. Drove over there . They changed it with in less than half hr.They are fast respectful and very easy to work with . Price wise ! Good lord. If you're going to work at a "tire" shop, maybe know the products you sell. Fred's is listed as KMC wheel seller but person behind counter has no idea who that is. But yet there is a KMC wheel on display.Pulling my hair out at the moment.Confused.
