Very friendly service! I already had a coupon printed and they checked it against their offers to make sure I got the best possible deal. I did not feel pressured to upgrade or perform additional maintenance. They did point out an issue that may need attention in the future and prepared an estimate. The appointment took a little longer than some of the rapid oil change places, but the lobby was clean and comfortable.

Our family has been taking our vehicles to Midas In Shakopee for over 10 years.With every repair or service, we have peace of mind that our vehicles were serviced with the utmost care.Their back of the house service technicians are the best around and we know we re getting solid repairs and a fair price!Their front of the house team is always ready to explain in more detail when needed about repairs (and easy to understand)! My overall experience was very good. The staff was friendly and detailed. I actually had my vehicle inspected somewhere else before here, this was a second opinion. Not only did they find a couple things that my primary mechanic missed. But they were much more detailed in explaining the work that I needed and my options. I ve never had a shop go into so much detail about my vehicle inspection. Midas in Shakopee is a great shop. I had a full synthetic oil change. I was in & out within 35 minutes. Coffee and water was available in the reception area. Very clean . The service staff were awesome & knowledgeable, being a female I felt I was treated as a valued customer, the service staff didn't try to sell me on getting unneeded repairs. If I need repairs I will definitely give this Midas shop a call.

Midas was suggested to me by my neighbor. So glad I took his advice! I was pleased from the time I set my appt, to when I paid/picked up my car. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me. They informed me what is priority to fix now, and what can wait until later, and gave me estimates. Then got me in/out the same day. I was very pleased with their service and recommendations. Felt they were very honest and straight forward. Will definitely use them again!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Oil change

Customer service is outstanding! Had battery replaced, oil change and a small 10-20 minute weld for a small crack around catalytic converter. When paying they gave me a coupon for the oil change, $20 off battery coupon and only charged me for 1/3 of an hour for the weld instead of a whole hour like most shops would do. All of this was done without me asking for these discounts. They could of easily not said a word and I wouldn t have known any different. The only place I ll ever bring all our vehicles!

Had a diagnostic to find issue of car not starting. They then called with repair quote. Including 1/2 he diagnostic they wanted $1062 to do a starter. Called 3 other shops in a 2 mile radius from them and was getting quotes for 475 to 550 for all the same breakdowns. Feel like they were really going to take advantage of me. Will not use them again and will persuade others to go elsewhereService: General repairs & maintenance

For years, YEARS, my family has given our business to your company. Personally, I have brought my vehicle there for 7 years now. That's 7 years of being RIPPED OFF. Every time... and I mean every single time I took my car there to get maintenance done or a repair, I'd be right back there with the same issues or new ones (which eventually started to repeat themselves). A suspicious amount of front tie rods you have replaced on my vehicle, several headlight bulbs replaced a couple months apart (had them check for wiring issues and computer issues, none were found. Maybe stop touching the bulb bare handed??), brakes that needed replacement after just having some put on months earlier (in no way were they already worn). Recently, my vehicle was acting strange and shifting wrong. Brought it in and they told me it was because oil leaked from a broken value cap onto the spark plugs. $1,000 later and they told me my cars issue isn't fixed but it's better and they assured me it was not my transmission and that I was fine to continue driving it. My cars issues were definitely not better after having that repair done, it helped nothing even though they assured me it would have. Few weeks later my cars issue was getting worse so I decided to take it somewhere else.... Turns out it was my transmission! So thank you for not catching that in shop and assuring me it wasn't that and that my cars issues would be better after dropping the $1k . I've always thought the guys up front were nice and helpful so I don't know if that's a mask or what or if the shop guys are complete idiots but either way my family is done giving you business, all 6 of us routinely go there too. Too many chances were given and each time I was taken advantage of. Maybe because I'm a female. Highly disappointed and disgusted.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my old truck to them for the missing exhaust, yes pretty much missing. They did top notch work to make it whole again. Positioned the tail pipe properly and did the muffler and resonator exactly how it was when it was new 20 years ago. Then, there was a discrepancy in the synchrony care care financing and Nick took care of it right away. This place is the real deal and I recommend you go here. Thank you guys!

Brought my car in for an exhaust quote. Wasn t planning on getting any work done to it due to a busy weekend for Midas, but Jim and Jon went above and beyond to fit me in right away in the morning. Their knowledge and service are superb. Would highly recommend going to them for service, and I will for sure be coming back!

These guys are amazing!! From general vehicle repairs, to putting on wheel spacers for me, to fabricating a exhuast for me they do it all! Honestly a one stop shop for all my vehicle needs. Not only that, but they also do high quality work at a great price. This is the only place I'll bring my vehicles, they are straight up and will tell you what needs to be repaired and what can wait, they don't try and push anything else on you and are very honest. I've recommend everyone to do service with these guys, I've personally been using them for about 2 years and have never had an issue yet!Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes

I have been using these guys for years. Reed and Jim are great, honest, friendly people. Never a fear of getting ripped off like at the dealerships. Just plain old quality work at a fair price! Will never bring my vehicles elsewhere.

I've been going here for 5 years now and I won't take my cars anywhere else. These guys know their stuff, treat you right, and are just honest guys. I never trusted a mechanic before and now I won't get my car touched anywhere else. Unfortunately, they are usually booked 2-3 days out and weekends are nearly impossible to get in because word has gotten out about how amazing they are, so book ahead of time!

Friendly staff and quick reliable service. I brought my car for a front break job. During the review of the current status of my breaks with Jim, I was offered a breakdown of different break pads and the option of turning my current rotors or getting new ones. I was not pressured in to products or services which is always a great feeling. My options were discussed and once I made my choice the staff got to work to replace the break pads and turn the rotors to smooth them out. I highly recommend this Midas as they do quality work, with no pressure and at reasonable rate.

I work with cars on a daily basis and have a few good mechanics that I work with and recommend. Jim, Reed and their crew at Midas in Shakopee are at the top of my referral list of great mechanics. Friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and very fair. The environment is clean, comfortable and well organized. These guys will treat you fair and honesty handle your needs.

Went in to get my fiances headlight assembly replaced (Dodge Stratus 2005). The tech told me it was the wrong light and "it says Sebring right there on the box". It does. Right above that it also says Stratus. Not sure if he even tried to put it in or not.Front desk guy was really nice, so he can have a star. Won't be returning.

I had started new job and needed a trailing arm replacement before work. They got me in early and I was able to make it into work on time. They tell you what's up too.
