Highly recommendThey have always helped me out in a pinch and are usually pretty quick.I had 5 trashed tires removed recently and they recycled the tires for free after removing them without me even asking and recycling is usually an extra charge everywhere else so that's a perk forsure.

Incredibly fast work. Katie was so friendly and helpful! I came in for a light bulb change, very pleased with the service and what I paid. Don't think twice, go to Hennens Auto!

Since relocating to Shakopee in 2022 from Michigan, it was obvious I would at some point need an auto service provider for future repairs. I discovered Hennen's after settling in as a newly planted Minnesotan. I have yet to be disappointed on their quality of service and prices. It's pretty clear that you'll have to pay for labor at any auto mechanic (unless you do the maintenance yourself of course), but I will say they are very reasonable with their costs. I 100% don't feel ripped off when I get my vehicle fixed here. Not only are the prices decent, but they typically are able to get your vehicle completed the same day you bring it in, depending on what needs repairing of course. If you're looking for a really good auto shop, Hennen's is the place for you.

I stopped in just to see if they could look at a car I was test driving. Got me in and looked within minutes. Was recommended by a family member. Didn t even charge me. Thank you so much! I appreciate the service!

double the price of mounting and balancing tires and didn't even tell me it cost $33 for one tire to be mounted and balanced when you bring it in there.. that does not even include tire disposalHighway robbery

After my partial repair for a terrible running engine, I was told that I should take it somewhere else to have further engine diagnosis and repair. I was told that " it is running okay and I could make it home or to another shop (2 miles away)". I did NOT even make it 2 blocks from Hennen's when it broke down. I paid nearly $360 for repairs for my car to not make it 2 blocks. When I went back to talk to the service manager he said, " That can happen ". I will NOT go back.Service: Engine repair

For simple and fast service I would recommend these guys. They do odd jobs as well, just have to ask

Here is my experience, I brought my vehicle in Saturday to get tires changed on my vehicle. When they called me on Saturday they told me they broke two lug nuts while taking my tires off (see invoice). I was told they needed to order lug nuts and they won t be in until Tuesday which didn t make sense to me. I asked the receptionist if they were going to fix my vehicle for free, they said Your lug nuts were pretty rusted on there and couldn t tell me if they would or not. Trying to understand what the receptionist was trying to say I told him I would check it out myself. Upon checking it out (photos attached) I was shocked in awe when I saw what happened. The threads on one stud where completely gone, and another stud had a MACHINE NUT that only spun. I had to wait until Monday to speak with someone with authority because nobody was available on Sunday. After speaking with Dan, he said asked if I could leave the vehicle there Monday and they would get it fixed. Being hesitant on leaving my vehicle in their hands again, they ended up replacing all my studs and lugs. While I was paying, Dan asked me if I had my wheel bears replace. I told him I did 4-5 years ago. He said Those are the wrong studs for your vehicle . I don t understand how that would be possible because I replace both front wheel bears and those are the original lugs. Getting the feeling that Dan was being condescending, I wanted to remind him that we wouldn t be in this situation if it wasn t for your mechanic. Even thou the repair was free and I paid full price for their service, the overall feeling I received was, it was somehow my/vehicle fault. The concerns I have now is what other damage/problems will I have, like bent rims, bad beads, unbalanced tires, more cross threaded studs, slow leaks.

Incredible service and wonderful staff!! They have helped me get a screw out of my tire and helped me fix my plastic undercarriage part, they ve helped me in the past too with a lot of car issues. I love coming here, they don t try to scam you, they re honest and helpful

Hennen's couldn't repair my van because it ended up being a transmission problem. But they kindly brought it to the transmission place for me. Thanks Hennen's!

I couldn't get my car started even after a AAA call. Being from out of town I was desperate. Hennen's was recommended, called them and they were able to work me into there schedule. Hennen's took the time to call around find the part, send someone to pick it up and keep me updated. I am very happy with Hennen's service prices and overall experience. Best fuel prices (especially if you have their "rewards" card- $0.12 savings per gallon on mondays). My car repair was very reasonable and they told me what to watch for without pushing unnecessary fixes. You can trust this local business.

I came here three years ago after a quick review of the local mechanics in the area and I have not been disappointed!! Their service is top notch, reasonably priced, and they are quick/efficient with getting your car repaired. I have since moved to Minneapolis but still make the drive to get my car looked at and repaired here as they are the only mechanics I trust!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

My family has been here for years. Since we moved here in 2008. In august I got my first car. In late October I noticed that my car was being weird, I don t know much about cars so I brought it to Hennens. After about 5 hours of waiting, he tells me that my front right Axil is leaking but, not enough to touch it . This was important to me because I wanted to get it checked out before I drove 3 hours to Fargo. I asked many times if my vehicle would be safe to drive there and back. He reassured me that my car would be fine. My car is now totaled because he didn t fix my seal. My CV joint completely snapped and I now have 4 bolts inside of my engine. To get it repaired would be over 40 hours of labor not to mention the THOUSANDS of dollars I would have to spend. My car is sitting with a mechanic right now in in Moorhead. The mechanic said that if they had fixed my leaking Axil my car would not be totaled.

I and my family have been taking our cars to Hennen's for years-you can't beat a combination of great, honest service and reasonable prices. As a woman, I especially LOVE the fact I won't be taken advantage of (as I have by a couple of other local/Shakopee automotive businesses) and I never have to worry about being misled into having unnecessary work done. Honest. Great Service. Reasonable Prices. What more could you ask for? Oh, I forgot to mention how wonderful ALL the staff is...friendly, patient, just all around GREAT folks!

I have been into Hennen s a couple different time with 2 different vehicles. Their pricing is competitive and fair. Any time I have called they have been able to get me in same day. I had an emergency where my belt was fraying for unknown reason. I called and they told me to come straight in and they took care of it as soon as I walked in the door and told me why it was fraying and fixed that problem as well. Super happy with them and will continue to use them for all my car repairs and maintenance!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Not one to write reviews, but this place was absolutely phenomenal with outstanding customer service. Took my truck in for both axles to be replaced, while he easily could have over done the work and overcharged, Dan is one of the few honest men around. He told me honestly what was wrong and fixed what needed fixing. After that was done, I noticed an issue after the job was done. Dan took care of it free of charge in a very timely manner. You don t find many shops that will do a job right and take ownership for what went wrong in the process. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Dan and Hennen s.

This shop came highly recommended to me from multiple Shakopee residents and it did not disappoint. I was experiencing some issues with my brakes that became extremely concerning to me, and Hennens shop took my car in the same day. They called me with a very reasonable estimate and completed the work within hours. They didn t pressure me into any extra unnecessary work and their assessment of the issue was completely spot-on. They even aired up my tires and gave me a free car wash. I am so happy with their service! I would recommend Hennens to everyone!

After getting my car's AC fixed, I'm a bit sad that why I didn't find this place sooner. Not only I loved the courteous behavior of the staff (special thanks to Craig), but was also amazed with the quality of the work at such an affordable price. I was quoted, by other places, at least 2 to 3 times higher than what I was charged here. Hennen's Auto Sevice has won a loyal customer in me for sure.

I've taken both of my cars here multiple times and been very happy each time. Prices are very competitive and I have never had any issues with the quality of the work. I've never felt like I was being upsold or lied to and don't feel like I have to worry about having to confirm the work was actually performed after I pay for it.Overall a quality shop that does good work for good prices.

Diagnosed a bad exhaust manifold in our newer vehicle, told us to go to the dealer instead due to it probably being under warranty. Didn't charge us a dime. Appreciated the honest communication and advice, saved us a lot of money over a place that would have tried to get the repair done themselves just to collect. Good prices for honest and reliable service. Bought 2 sets of tires from them and they've been cheaper than most big chains. Vehicles get done quick with no upselling additional services.

Found Hennen's Auto Service via Google. I trusted the reviews, and I'm so glad I did. It was a great experience. Quick job, done right and came in under budget. Such a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back next time we need car repairs.

The folks at Hennen's are great. They did a 4 wheel alignment on my 08 impala. Dan knew exactly what the issues were with this model and year. There are known issues with this model and year. I would recommend going there to anyone who asks me for a good, honest shop. I dropped the car off the evening before and told them no rush, they had it completed by mid day. They even gave me a copy of the alignment report, the before and after results.

Best place for gasoline if you drive a vehicle with flex fuel. This is the cheapest place for e85. They're also very good at fixing my car and truck. The shop itself doesn't have much food and drinks items. Just a few snacks.

Honesty and Trust. Those two words sum up Hennen's. For example, we brought our car in to have them look at breaks, timing belt and fan. They were honest with their assessment and even advised when we didn't need to make any repairs. In other words, we didn't feel like we were getting scammed to spend money when it wasn't necessary. Thank you Hennen's for your good work and honesty!! For the times we had repairs done, their work is completely flawless and their pricing is very reasonable!
