If you re thinking about coming here, don t walk.. RUN. AND RUN FAR AWAY. Do it yourself or go to the nearest elementary school and ask one of the kids to do it for you because they re so sloppy, it seems like a kid did it. I called early morning and asked if they had any availability to mount/balance my tires for today and they said to bring it in & they ll have it done by the end of the day. So I dropped off my car at noon and I didn t pick it up until 7:30pm, 30 minutes past closing. Okay that s fine, he said by the end of the day.. even though that was near 8 hours, I was prepared to be car-less for the day. I also asked for an oil change. So I pick up my Mercedes and it smells kind of funny. I drive it across the street to the Walgreens and the smell gets stronger & my car is making a loud noise. My car is very well maintained & has never had any mechanical issues. When I drop off my car, I m expecting to pick it up in a better condition than when I dropped it off - not in a condition that seems like my car is about to explode any second. Wth? So I get home and my car is SMOKING. The noise was scary enough, but smoke too? Oh nah I m thinking my engine is about to blow. Imagine if I had brought my baby with me too. Danger danger. I call the shop immediately & he tells me to bring it back. I m annoyed that I already waited all day for my car and now you guys messed it up - and I have to bring it back? It s 8pm. I get there and explain everything, no apologies were given. Just takes the car to the garage and says they ll take a look.. Um okay. He comes back about 20 minutes later and says the girl who changed my oil spilled oil ALL over my engine, the sides, it s everywhere, it s a huge mess & It s gonna take a long time to clean it up. Ok so at this point it s already 8:30pm, I m supposed to been have had my car finished, be home putting my baby to bed, be on about my day, but I m stuck at the shop, and figure out a way back home AGAIN. I m clearly upset because why wouldn t they clean up the oil before calling me? They should ve notified me of this happening as well and failed to do so. So instead of getting an oil change, I got a huge oil spill, and I m sure it s going to mess up my car in the long run. Now I m going to be car less for another day & have to push my plans all around. On top of that, it s cold outside, it s a hassle to bring an infant out in this weather, and what if I had plans? What if I had work the next day, or bring my baby to her doctor appointment? Still no apologies, just a mistakes happen No compensation nothing. SMH $355 and an attempted murder. This ain t no lil cheap ahh Honda Civic car either. I am supposed to be going on a long road trip this upcoming weekend which is why I made sure to get all my maintenance done beforehand - now I feel like my car isn t even safe to drive home 5 minutes down the road.Services: Tires, Oil change

Couldn't align my front tires(the ones having issues), so instead of calling to tell me, they aligned the "tow" and continued to charge me $100 even though I still need an alignment. Worker seemed nice, but I won't be going back

Been doing business with them over the past 8 years. Staff is accommodating and fairly priced. Most recently a new set of tires was not balanced well and I took it back without hassle and it was redone despite them being extremely busy. I would like to continue supporting this local business to become even more skilled and advanced. Hopefully they'll reach a 4-5 star rating in the future as I continue bringing them my business.

My significant other went there today for an oil change. They told her she had to have synthetic oil in her car (she doesn t need that - can take regular oil). They told her she need a new air filter and a new cabin filter. She needed both of those. However, they charged her $20 extra labor to put them in - it literally takes less than 5 minutes to do so. All said and done her bill was $170 - for an oil change and 2 air filters. Totally took advantage of her. Be careful going there. That is dishonesty at its best.

They matched the tire price from Discount Tire and quoted me a good price for some repairs I needed. My only complaint is that they really over-tightened the lug nuts. Clearly, they don't use torque sticks or know what a torque wrench is. They ask you to come back after 50 mile to re-torque the nuts, but I have a very nice torque wrench and can do it myself. I needed a long breaker bar to loosen half the nuts. They were WAY over the recommended torque of 80 ft. lbs.

Good price and decent service.Deducted a star because I had four tires replaced and they did not put the tires in plastic before loading them in my car, so I had dirt in back seat/trunk.Tires Plus did my last tire change and they wrapped all my tires before loading them.

I called all the tire places I could think of needing a tire exchange that same day. Nate picked up and was extremely friendly, got the tires ordered and had the job done that night for me. Called other places and they were rude or wouldn't give me the time of day this busy season. Fair pricing, and nice staff. Thank you so much!

In Minnesota from Texas punctured a tire on a rental vehicle, these folks were awesome! Got us in, fixed the tire and got us back on the road. Service at its best! Thank you Nate and Team!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Liars and jerks! Went in to get an oil change. Customer service was bad they all groaned and grunted that they needed to work.1. They never asked me what kind of oil2. They charged me for semi full synthetic when I only use full synthetic3. I unknowingly left with NO OIL in my car! Last time I checked an oil change consist of draining the old oil in an engine AND replacing it with brand new oil.4. Non of my car fluids were topped off either.My charger was just minutes away from a break down from their carelessness. I only just received a refund for the oil change. Manager gave me no kind of excuse to why there was no oil in my car or why his staff was so unprofessional and rude. I'm baffled at their inattention to detail especially to something this serious. If you ever got work done from these bosses, I would definitely double check your car to see that everything was done properly.

Beware Damaged my custom rim on brake job. Definitely was not handled with care. Claimed it wasn't them with fresh paint scratches on rim. Talk to owner he looked at it said he call me back about getting it touch up not even call back. Several flat out lies from this company and owner terrible customer service and don't handle your vehicle with care. Recommend a different shop or take pictures of your vehicle before going into this shop period. They lost my business.

I had the unfortunate experience of a flat tire. This shop was extremly busy on a weekend. They allowed us to drop the car off and they stayed late to accomodate all the customers. We went back as they instructed to check tire pressure 4 days later. They adjusted the pressure. Had they not informed me I needed to do that I would have never known.

I have gone there for 15 years+/- . Great, reliable service and advice. I trust them completely and often recommend their shop. Nate and Jamie take good care of my vehicles and help me run them 150k+.

First let me say that I have never written a review on a company. The reason - rarely have I received the level of service that I received from this company. I see the past "less than favorable" reviews and can only conclude that whatever had gone wrong in their business plan has not only been corrected but other shops should be looking at them for advise!!! Awesome job guys!

I live in the northern suburbs and drive all the way to Shakopee to service my vehicles with Nate at Capital Tire. I initially went because of the low cost oil change and was very pleased with the customer service. The staff are very friendly, honest, and the prices/service are the best I've found. The waiting area and shop are clean too! No "sales pressure" and the diagnosis have always been spot on. If you're in the area, I recommend anyone use this place for all your vehicle needs, I do and i live 45 minutes away. Thanks Nate and Capital Tire for being the shop i can trust.

Nate and Jamie did a great job on my 1967 Firebird !! Front disc brake conversion and fuel pump. They found some issues with the front suspension, called and informed me, gave me a fair price and did the additional work. Back on the road and the car runs great !!! Thanks guys.

Nate is always very helpful & explains things. Jamie is pretty good too, and knowledgeable. Nate is more personable to me. They let you know what is necessary, and what can wait. They have done some minor auto-body things for me too.

Car went in for a simple oil change and came out with 1200$ worth of problems. 2 of them were complete bull and later found that they were going to charge me twice for the same thing (according to them was 200$ to fix, took me twenty mins and 10$). After a confrontation on the phone the guy hung up on me. Will never be returning here and will make sure everyone I know stays away as well. What a joke of a buisness.

Always gives me free quotes on repairs, reasonable prices, and has bulk oil change packages. Sometimes they leave tools or leave a mess after a repair, but they're really nice and I persoanlly don't care about little stuff like that. I've been going since I got a car, they've never skrewed me over.

Called at 7:15pm with a nail in my tire. Arrived at 7:40pm and Capital Tire fixed my leak even though the shop closes at 8:00pm. I am very impressed and grateful. Thank you!

We had a screw in our tire. They verified no leaks and didn't even charge anything. That's my definition of great service. I'll be here again.

I was visiting shakopee and broke down. They were able to get me in and got me back on the road. Nate was great to deal with!! Honest straight forward I couldn't have been happier!!

As a car enthusiast, im aware of mechanic scams. I thought i had an idea of what was going on with my car but instead of following through with what i originally asked they called me up and offered a different solution that fixed the problem! They also worked down the price to something i had the money for at the time because i thought i was just there for a balancing. I had never been to this shop before and im glad i found this shop!

Honest and dependable. Every time I have brought a vehicle here they aim to serve the customer. They do only the work that is needed and don t try to stick you with a bill for unneeded things.

A little pricey for what I had done but I'm glad I picked them. Other places probably would have charged more. Great customer service and the work was finished in a timely matter.

They get the job done but at what price? Starts out cheap you leave and then another problem pops up not long after, every time I get something fixed here something else goes wrong not long after, makes me feel like they are breaking things after they fix one so we have to keep coming back
