I had gone all over Shakopee and Eden Prairie trying to get a new battery for my Jeep without luck. It was either sold out or they couldn t get to where the battery was placed (under the passenger seat). The guys at Auto Zone not only helped me find a new battery they replaced it for me even though it was tricky and not something they usually do for my model of Jeep. They just created a life long customer. Great customer service and overall kindness!!

The store manager, Moises, was very helpful. He knew the right battery for my car and even installed the battery for me. It s so refreshing to find quality service like this!

Best customer service ever, I wish I could give Moises at AutoZone in Shakopee more than 5 stars. The night before a road trip the low beam bulb my 2011 Toyota Sienna went out. I can do the most basic of car maintenance so I watched some YouTube videos and looked under the hood only to find the parts in my Sienna didn't match up to any of the videos and my manual was worthless. I gave up and went to Jiffy Lube where they told me they couldn't change it either. Tried AutoZone as a last ditch effort. After giving my issue way more time that I ever expected, Moises figured it out and changed the bulb for me. I was so thankful I tried to tip him and he declined. Beyond impressed!

I just stopped in to the Auto Zone in Shakopee looking to have a battery replaced in my daughter s car before she goes back to college. Moises was extremely helpful, pulled the old battery out, cleaned the battery terminals with a a brush and cleaner ( they really needed it) and installed the new battery. Great job and I highly recommend seeing Moises and this store!!

Very very helpful store!My car broke down in the cities and i had to get a car jack on the fly with my husband. Unfortunately, the jack didnt work to the fullest on my car and we went to return it at the store where we live .that store was giving us a HARD time and I was able to call them right up, they remembered us, and were able to help us so we could buy the best jack for my car. Thank you so much to this store. Truly superb customer service.

The guys at AutoZone were incredibly helpful. They spent extra time helping me get me car started yesterday, allowing me to avoid having to get it towed. Great customer service!

My husband bought break pads and break disc from here yesterday. His dad ended up finding cheaper breaks on eBay so my husband went to return the ones he bought back to autozone. The employee gave him attitude and started accusing him of taking the brake disc out, putting in the old one and spray painting it to look new. My husband tried to explain that he didn t even open the package. (Let alone have time for this??) The employee just kept swearing and saying stop wasting my time, get out of here and I m going to call the cops . My husband said call them, I didn t do what you re accusing me of. Anyways, he came home with no break disc and short $128. He told me what happened and I am livid. Said that I would have stayed there and dialed 911 myself and had them deal with the mess they made. Why would they sell something used to us in the first place? Im not sure why the employee would start this. Is it because my husband looks on the younger side? No idea. Needless to say we re definitely not coming back and I want to contact somebody and escalate this because this is unacceptable. 0/10 would recommend.

Started my Sunday off with the car barely cranking over? Looked and saw this store was opening at 9AM. Lots of other places not open on Sundays or at opened at 10AM.Got their at little after opening and was on road again by 9:25!! Got the right battery and it was installed for me quickly! Thanks for saving my day!

We bought a new car battery today from this store and the would not take the old battery back because it was not their brand. This makes no sense. Why buy batteries from this company?

I went in for some parts and asked if I could get him to look up my phone number as my car is under the number as I ve done many times before. The man then laughs at me and says that is not how it work. I have been to this store many times before and done this. I let this slide and gave my make and model and it did not show up as I didn t think my package was on the list. It wasn t. I have an se which he didn t says as an option. I said I would go check and he laughed. He then proceeded to talk to the next customer behind me in line about me and was laughing. Super unprofessional. I turned around and said why are you talking about me to other customers. He then started threatening me that he was going to throw me out. He went on to claim that I should know everything about my car and being rude. He then claimed he was the general manager that he could do what he wants pretty much and he could make sure I could never shop there again. Don t worry I don t plan on it.

I always get answers to my questions.(I never hear; "Gee, the person that would know dosen't work today".)They quickly installed our new battery without any fuss right at the front door ! I'd recommend them !

Driving on Hwy 169 south through Shakopee on a seriously hot afternoon when a check oil warning light came on. I ve never seen this warning before and had visions of bad things happening to my already stressed engine if I didn t stop to address it. I exited and saw the big, beautiful Autozone store and got the help I needed to get me back on the road. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for showing me what to do AND for giving me the peace of mind to safely finish my trip!

Customer Service here is awesome! They are always seeking to assist you whether it is locating a part or having a check engine light checked out. Other automotive parts store has you do it yourself. Highly recommend coming here when it comes to self service before going to a major mechanic.

I have bought the label two charger online through AutoZone APP for my EV. The charger is defective. So, I went to this store to return the charger, and the representative PATE D (Store manager). First, he said we can t take this item because we don t know where you bought it even though I showed him the receipt. When I showed him the return barcode which clearly says it can be returned to any AutoZone location. Then, he asked if I used it, yes, I have used it at once. Then, he said we can t return used items, but how would I know without using it if the charger is functional. The charger is super slow, and it takes 12 to 15 hours to fully charge, and the similar 40 AMP charger takes 8 to 9 hours to full charge. The salesperson was very rude. I am AutoZone regular customer, and I never had any issue with them.I would never go back to this store again.

The employee Moises G is very rude. He easily escalates conflicts and blames customers for his own mistakes. He even tells customers he will not serve them. He is completely unprofessional and turns customers away.

Its a well stocked, staffed, and maintained location which is my reason for the 3 stars. However, I cannot give any more stars than that.. I stopped in to do a quick, single item return/exchange with receipt in hand, was the first in line and still waited almost 10 minutes. While I waited and stared at 2 different employees on the phone and wondering where the third went, I was being urged to use the credit only self checkout via the pointing of a finger... okay I get that, but when I explained I had a return I just got an eye roll. After 10 minutes I just left with my same item in hand and made a comment about how its probably not a great idea to have every employee making phone calls at once leaving no one to help customers. Hopefully this was a one off.

Spoke to salesperson - PAT. In 30 years in the automotive business I never encountered a MORE RUDE PERSON. Asked him about brake rotors for the rear of a 2013 FJ Cruiser. They had them in stock. Told him I would like to exchange 2 same brand rotors that our customer purchased from AutoZone online but that were the wrong rotor. We would happily pay the difference in price. Rotors were new in box. He said they couldn't possibly do that because we didn't have a receipt and the part number didn't come up under that vehicle. I explained that I knew it didn't that's why they were wrong and we wanted to exchange for the right ones. He said the purchasing customer would have to return them to where he bought them. I explained the rotors were new and we were trying to service our customer, helping him out. Pat let me know he wouldn't exchange or return them and If I didn't like it, "that was just too bad".I own an local auto repair business with a very good reputation. A small business, but we purchase over $400k in parts. Pat had the chance to make a great impression and gain a commercial customer. After treatment like this, what do you think his chances are?

I was in yesterday afternoon and there was only two people working, the store was pretty busy for the staff level. In the face of that challenge, the man and lady working were helpful, fast and efficient. They made sure every single customer was made a priority and that they were given personal service. They communicated between each other with absolute precision to make sure they greeted and attended to each customer personally. This isn't customer service you see often.Thanks for being awesome and helping replace my battery.

Very helpful group of employees. Needed a new car battery and they gave many options and advice. Houston (yes, that is his name) swapped out the old and put in the new. And the windchill was not kind that day. Thanks Houston!

The battery in my vehicle needed to be replaced. In past, I've paid a premium at my local car repair place. This time I purchased at AutoZone and they even installed it right then at no added cost! The staff is friendly and helpful.

I called to see if they had a new radiator hose for my car, the guy on the phone said he does. When I walked into the building with the original broken hose he was rude and yelled at me that it's the wrong one. This other employee helped me and we got the right one so thank you guy in the hat, and a note to the guy on the phone, be nicer to your customers.

Went in for wiperblades that should of been in and out problem was they were not ones that were for my car which the website assumed they were instead of just getting them replaced and out the door I waited another 30 mins for two people to do the samething I already did. The employees were great do not get me wrong but I would expect them to take a customers word for it. I was not trying to be there for nearly a hour.

Service is always good, these guys always seem to be knowledgeable, and able to help and answer questions I have. I actually came back here for the first time in a couple years and I do have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the seemingly drastic price increases in many of the parts I used to get as recently as 3 or 4 years ago, that have about doubled in price. I noticed too, that the rewards program has changed as well. You have to spend a whole lot more money, and in half hour intervals I guess? To get the good old $20 reward credit. Was a lot different than what I was used to, compared to the prior 15 or so years of being a loyal auto zone customer. Just can't help but wonder if the parts are that Mich more?? Or if they just doubled many of their prices on parts, in addition to getting about 1500% more stingy on the rewards program. A little disappointed in that. Guy helping me was cool though, they always are as I said.

Guest service is outstanding. I have been to Shakopee Auto Zone three times in the last year and everyone I have encountered has been welcoming, courteous and very helpful. They make it so easy. Thank you!
