I recently had an encounter with the lady at the service front desk, Jennifer Benoit. unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. Despite her claimed list of experiences, she seemed oblivious to basic customer care. The way she handled customers was disappointing, treating them as if they were inconveniencing her rather than valued clients.Moreover, it was concerning to observe her lack of consideration for customers' needs and preferences. Additionally, there were instances where she generated unnecessary expenses, which only added to the frustration of dealing with her. This behavior creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for customers and undermines the company's reputation. If I surrendered $30K bill for the service of a single truck at once and being rewarded this manner tell me what you expectI hope the management takes note of these issues and addresses them promptly to ensure a more positive and customer-friendly environment in the future.

Recently bought my new truck Volvo VNL64T860 from GATR Truck Center at Sauk Rapids, MN. It was one of my great experience.Its actually my first time of buying a truck, you know I used to think the process of buying a truck is gonna take couple of months and headache with paper-work, but it only took 2 weeks, to get approved and finish up with paper-work. The sales person Jeff Smith he was really professional answered all of my questions regarding truck, guarantees, and so on. He even picked me up from the airport, when I arrived to MN. Also Danielle from the financial department she handle all of my paper-work, answered all of my question regarding finances, payments. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase.With GATR Truck Center you get 100% Customer Satisfaction and No hidden fees. Highly recommend if you wanna buy truck.

The mechanics did a great job. I wish the drivers lounge was better and they had a shower for the driver's waiting there for a few day's. Otherwise, great customer service.

Had a problem with my 2016 Volvo. Called there shop and they were able to get my truck in to have it Diagnosed. When I brought my truck in to have a diagnosed They also did a inspection on my truck. And pointed out a few things that need to be addressed. They repaired my truck and I was on my way. They did great service. I would highly recommend them.

We brought our truck(Volvo 860 2023) to this shop and requested from them to ONLY do the fuel filter change! After one hour of our truck being in the shop they came back to us with an estimate of $577.70. We never asked for an estimate we were specific what we wanted done on the truck from the beginning, however they decided on their own without our authority that they should do something else! Stay away from shops like this one! They are a rip off and very UNPROFESSIONAL!

Do not buy parts from them. They won t honor the warranty. Forget about it, go somewhere else.We bought a water pump that 3 months later failed. We sent them the part back along with the warranty form they have us fill out. The warranty was never honored. This is only a couple hundred bucks but imagine if you buy a big ticket part from here. Good luck!

Placed order June 2021. For a new 2023 Volvo truck. Truck was suppose to arrive 1st or 2nd quarter of 2022. Sales rep with my order dropped the ball. Ignore emails and calls Jacob and his manager Carlos. They say can replace order for truck and wait another 15 months because they don t know what they did with my first order and have all confirmation emails. Volvo should keep eye on all dealership orders as they are cheating us customers

This is the worst place I have ever encountered, they are totally scam, they charged me $1,586 without fixing anything.Please avoid this rogue guys especially if you are #SOMALI or have an accent.

They were awesome! Had a rear drive shock break on Friday night and faced loosing my Saturday load pick up. I called and they had the part and squeezed me in first thing Saturday morning and had me in and out fast. They saved me from sitting all weekend. Thank you guys!

I went to GATR for an interview. I'd expected the service shop to be like you would imagine a shop to be. I was blown away by how clean and organized it was. The people I had met there are respectful and professional. I have to say that the men and women at GATR are truly best in class. Hats off to them!

This is the friendriest place in the world!!!! The service manager is top notch, the mechanics are super friendly and extremely knowlegable. VOLVO SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PROUD to be represented by this group of people. They are so driver oriented and get the work done fast and accurately!!!! They go above and beyond to provide great service and make their customers happy!!! We have not found any place out there, that even compares to them!!! We will always go to them if possible, they are #1 in our opinion!!!!

Went in for a fuel leak repair (i showed them when the leak was) i even picked the part up and brought it to them. They said it would take 1 hr to fix and they allegedly spent 4 on it. Then told me they moved/bumped some lines and now it has an audible air leak but they wont fix it for free because that happens when you move lines

Too much trouble for parts guy to figure out parts store sold. Would rather transfer call then do his job. No wonder got the wrong parts. Avery is very good and nice. Wish I would have got him instead of the weak link.

I cannot recommend this place at all. They installed the wrong sized rear bearing in our Workhorse motorhome, then refused to refund our money after another shop had to fix their mistake. If I could give them a zero star I would.

Purchased a used semi. Everyone was fantastic. They installed a wet kit,split my tank and added another tank. Everything was right and worked perfect. Thank you Carlos, Danielle, Pat, and Greg!

My brother brings his semi there and they continue to lie to him and not fix things that are supposed to be fixed. I would recommend taking your truck to McDonald's and just have a burger rather than waste my time here!

$140 per hour!!! No respect for your time!They pray on OTR drivers! Avoid!Terrible place. I called about 2 pm asking if they could replace a heater core in my truck.I was looking for someone to do it asap.They said that I'll be pulled in between 2:30 and 3. Never happened.They started working on the truck about 7.Heater core replacement costed me $574.02. Labor only, my part.When I mentioned to the manager that this is a way too much and that it takes about an hour to do he agreed.He said that it is a ripoff but there is nothing he can do. They charge $140 per hour and minimum charge for that is 3 hours plus other fees.AVOID!!!!

Had work on clutch and seals here last year service is good repairs were a one time no returning for same problem overall a great team of people that do what they say and we'll.

We despised that place. Service people were NOT truthful. When one of our staff spoke with few of the different staff about what time the service work started, our company staff have got different service start time. That was just the start. Then, we asked to speak with the manager (evening manager, Daren), that manager finally informed that mostly nothing is wrong with the truck (cuz, they test drove the truck).Anyways, among many things, they seemed super suspicious and NOT straight forward.It appeared to us that GATR Volvo dealership is mainly after money by wasting customer time and money without clear physical documents and with vague explanation.So, there you have it.

Not even half a star. Brought Mine in for a bad motorWent over my options decided on a new d12 for my 01. The estimate. 24000. All said and done 31474.00. Broke my dip stick sent it out anyway. Busted my arm rest passenger side. Didnt put a pin in my clutch pedal assembly. Which happend in front of the paver. Held the whole paving crew up for a hour. Costed me 5600. For delaying . Come find out the motor was a reman not new. And that's not what i bought.No respect for your time. After they had the truck in the shop i was a nuisance calling for updates because everytime they said they would call back they didn't. Not again. Never again.

Got towed here 2 hours before close on a Friday night they took my truck in to get started found the problem in about half an hour they surprised me and just worked on it until it was done about 45 minutes after close and had me back on my way! Very good experience

Went here for a inverter install and I supplied all wire and connectors, charged me for additional negative wire at 50 bucks which was ok.I paid 23 for hole kit of 0 guage with inline fuse.They charged me a additional 52 bucks for environmental fees which is total bs there is no fluids on this job. I'll be talking to top there tomorrow if not resolved I'll file BBB complaint and Rip Off Reports.Tim quoted me 450 to install inverter, 550 is too much.

I dropped my truck off for a pm on friday. Went to pick it up on tuesday and they didnt touch it. They said it would be ready. If you have work done here make sure you call them and harass them to get the job done.

They charged me 10K to injectors on d13, when other places charge only 3k. After that injectors were going bad every 50k miles, changed twice more time the warranty. People who work there have to brains no hands. Stay away from this place. Alex Istate.

Use to be my favorite shop for last 15 yearsNot anymoreHorrible overpriced slowI Ask if it's possible to put a manual fan switch and a simple NO cost me 115$Tank repair cost me 6 days and 1555Brand new tank cost 1400I feel sorry to say this but I won't be back and I won't recommend this shop anymore

The body shop is great. The manager there is a great guy that will help you anyway he can.
