This is my husband's family store! The employees are pretty friendly and helpful for the most part. Some things are a little pricey but cheaper than the gas it would cost to run to the closest grocery stores to get it.

Very well stocked store for the location. Extremely friendly & helpful clerk. Very clean. Great place. Gas over .60 a gallon cheaper than the iron range... 5 stars all the way!

Small store. Two unisex bathrooms inside. Clean. Good service. Sells delicious Cedar Crest hard scoop ice cream spring through fall - good sized scoops, too.

Cute little country store with some different and fun snack options. The guy working the counter was nice too. I'd definitely stop here again.

Not even worth 1 star. Called 5 minutes before showing up to ask if they had diesel for on road vehicles and the employee said yes. Then when I showed up I had to find out from another customer that they were out of fuel completely. Poor customer service.

The convenience store had a total face lift inside and out. Gone is the run down appearance and disgusting restrooms...it is bright, airy, and interesting. Modern looking. A great improvement...

I use this place as a safe meeting place for the swapping of my son. Friendly employees and the Store is cozy, welcoming. My Mom says Dave is very handsome and kind.

In an effort to figure out what gas station is closest to my new house in Brookston... *Comments/Suggestions welcome* I've headed in both directions on US 2. Caywood is about 11 miles. I'm not sure if the prices are better, although diesel is less here than in Floodwood for sure. The store inside has a unique assortment of things not typically found in your standard side of the highway place. They also carry a variety of Sven & Olie's pizzas. Sorry if I spelled that wrong (that fantastic pizza place in Grand Marais) Anyway, quick fast & friendly service. Average price of Gas & slightly lower price on diesel. Definitely check it out on your trip down hwy 2 or the intersecting hwy 33 to Cloquet or to & from 35W.

Caywood Country Store is a great Quick Stop with clean bathrooms and courteous staff. We also get our propane from caywood oil and they seem to have the best prices in the area. Their secretary Mary , is an asset to the company!

Stopped for gas only. Very handy location at a junction of Hwy 2 and 35W.

Good service, has all the basics of a convenience store, unleaded, non oxy and diesel #1, #2. Great place that is easily accessible from hwy 2.

It's a good gas station and the people seem nice. There are options for multiple types of gas here.

They don't have people that come out and pour your gas for you like the business that was there before them did.

Its a very small conveniencec store kind of run down with a very small selection of snacks and household items. We stopped for gas and a cold drink.
