The kind of customer service you don't see very often anymore. Honest guys doing honest work. My clutch went out on Christmas Day, I had the car towed here the next day and it was repaired within two day for 5x less what the dealership quoted me. Clutch went out again last week so I had it taken back to Murgic's. They identified that the part was faulty and repaired it again free of charge. Couldn't be more impressed with they're service.

Murgic's is fantastic - Repairs are done in a timely manner and they are very reasonably priced. I'm always confident that our vehicles will get done right the first time.

175.00 an hour for labor was very very steep for me. They told me the total price before i got there for everything. Steering clear of the labor charge per hour. Murgics used to be reasonable and fair, The average labor rate per hour in Minnesota is 75 to 130 dollars per hour. They are not a dealership. My last time going to Murgics. Very Very sad, they lost a long time customer of 15 years.......

Brought my 75 vette in for oil leak I thought it was the pan gasket. Also had them look into when braking car pulled to left. It wasn't the pan gasket it was valve cover. They called and confirmed all repairs, and moved forward with them. Car runs straight down the road leaks are gone. These guys are awesome. I recommend this shop. Thanks boys awesome work.

Brought a few different vehicles here and always been more than happy with the work and pricing. Just had them do a quick service on my Corvette and chase down a SRS light, told them no rush as I dropped it off on a Friday with no appointment. Monday afternoon it was ready and reasonably priced. 10/10 will bring them any additional work I need done.

I had an oil change done at a retail oil change store and when they removed the drain plug, it stripped out the threads, resulting in needing to replace the oil pan as soon as possible. Murgic's was able to fit my car in the next day and had the repairs completed within a few hours of the car being dropped off. Thank you for the great service and being able to get my car in so quickly!

I have had numerous repairs done here. Steve and his staff do great work, are very knowledgeable and I always feel that I am getting a fair price for repairs needed.I can always trust that Steve gives you an honest opinion about the repairs needed, and you never feel that you are being "Up Sold" to authorize additional repairs.I will even call Steve to get his opinion on which vehicle I should buy based on his experience and honesty.Great repair shop.

I had the dreaded "click" when I tried to start my 07 Honda Accord this morning and knew it wasn't the battery. I checked Angies list for recommended mechanics and found Murgic's. I read all of the reviews on Google - very impressed! and decided to give them a try. I called in the morning and was told they should be able to at least do a diagnosis today. I had my car towed there and long story short, the starter was bad and had to be replaced. I can happily say my car was dropped off there by 1130ish and the repair was complete by 330 today. I have my car back and running great! The total cost all in was around $450 which was about what I expected. Good price, Great service! We will definately use them again as our first choice!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my jeep in for my stuck open sunroof repair. Unfortunately we couldnt go for the repair due to funds on my end. When asked if they could take a second look at it to get the sunroof to close instead of doing a $3200 repair, they said they would take another look at it and see what they could do.These guys are awesome, got the sunroof to close when all my attempts failed. Definitely a fair rate and quick. When other shops were booked, they found time to take a look at my jeep.Thank you guys

I starting having car issues and limped my car over to them just before closing time. They were pretty booked up the next day but managed to get my repairs done by the early afternoon the next day! That was my first visit there and the service was great! I'll be going back when I need more work done.

I do most of my own work on my vehicles. There have been a few times where either didn't have the right tools or didn't have the time to do the work. On those occasions I have taken the vehicles to Murgic's. They do really good work and are fair and reasonably priced. Steve takes really good care of his customers and makes sure you're comfortable with the work done. You honestly can't go wrong bringing your vehicle Murgic's.

They go above and Beyond and they are straight to the point and honest. I cant say enough positive things about the crew that work here. they were able to get my 1991 pontiac firebird up and running again. I dropped my car off for repair and didnt have a ride home. Steve (the owner) was so kind and dropped me off at home. I only lived a couple blocks, but still... That's just a couple of my many great experiences with Murgics Automotive.Service: Engine repair

So I've had a great and able mechanic for over 20 years. The owner retired and the place has now transitioned to new management. Brought in a car and got an uneasy feeling. It was finally time for us to try Murgic's. Many friends have always sung the praises of Murgic's but I've never had reason to switch. Brought in my 14 year old Honda with a need for an honest assessment. Steve was great and gave me an honest assessment that I had the luxury of comparing to another estimate. I think my cars have found a new home.

EDIT: I've had car(s) here since I wrote this and I have to say every time has been a 5 star experience. I had to go with another shop one time because Murgics was too busy, and I regretted that immensely. Will only go here.Icannot say enough good things about this place. Fixing cars gives me ulcers... I don't know what's what, I never know if I'm getting a good deal or if I'm getting taken to the cleaners...Not with these guys. Fixed my bearings in less than 8 hours, very reasonable price, didn't try to upsell a lot of "optional" repairs. Won't go anywhere else, won't let my kids or family go anywhere else either.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

I have been taking both cars here for years (and the cars previous to those), and in those years Murgic's has become our go-to place for everything from brake/pad changes to fixing the air conditioner to maintenance/repair items in between. Steve and team are extremely fair and trustworthy, knowledgeable, and stand by their work.

The "oil pressure is low" light on my car started coming on intermittently and then non stop to the point I couldn't tolerate the beeping anymore so I took it to Firestone to have them install a new oil pressure sending unit. It's not a difficult repair and Firestone was convenient. I told them exactly what they needed to do and I thought the issue would be fixed. I couldn't leave without first being told my filter housing was leaking, which is wasn't, so the gasket needed to be replaced ($200-250 repair) they would test the oil pressure for $50 and put dye in the oil line to spot where the leak was for another $50. So an attempt to upsell $350 in unnecessary services which I politely declined. 20 miles later the car started beeping again. I was thinking it may be electrical, my oil line was all clogged up or something in the engine was wrong. Took it to Murgic's and he said my problem was Firestone installed some cheap Chinese part, marked up the price of the part about 400% and sent me on my way. Steve Murgic put in a genuine GM part and wouldn't you know, 150 miles later the light is yet to come on and all is fixed. Now it's time to get a refund from Firestone and drive straight to Murgic's next time I have a car issue. Highly recommend Steve and his honest, old school approach. There aren't many people like him left.

Steve, the owner, explains in detail what needs to be done and why. After the repair is done, he takes your car for a test drive to make sure it was repaired right, and operates as promised. That's why he gets my business over and over again.

I brought my 2006 Mercury Mariner to Murgics after getting 2 other estimates.Bobbie and Steve s charged me $67 for the estimate and told me I needed a power steering hose replaced for $1500 and they said I probably have gasket issues but that would take more time and money to diagnose. They also noticed the oil pressure sensor which would be an additional $300 to fix.Elsens said I needed a intake manifold gasket replaced along with value cover and timing gasket, along with a high pressure power steering hose. $2000.I had three people tell me to take my car to Murgics and THANK GOD I did.He told me that the gaskets were fine. My oil pressure sensor needed replacing, I needed a new power steering house and a rack and pinyon. (My steering was sticking a bit on a right turn). He did this fix for less than the other bids. He was honest friendly and made me feel like he was on my side.Do NOT take your car anywhere else. Trust me!

My wife and I started taking our vehicles here back in 2006. Her parents are long time customers of Murgics. We have never had a bad experience here. I recommend them to everyone.

Me and my family have been going to Murgic's for about 25-30 years now. Even when I lived an hour away, that's where I went (even if by tow truck). I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone. Simply the best.

Murgic did a great job taking care of our Acura RDX. It had been sitting for 2 years and they got it up and running great for my wife to use! They got it done in a timely manner and very reasonably priced!

This has to be the only mechanic I've ever gone to that purposely quotes a tad higher then expected so that there's never that sticker shock of you feeling like you're getting ripped off. On top of that you'd be hard-pressed to find someone that will charge less than they do. I had them change out the alternator in my Audi A6 and they quoted me $400 less than anyone else. That was prefix of my car. After my car was fixed the bill was closer to $500 less than anyone quoted. They're constantly booked up so you won't get your car back quick, but if it's an expensive fix you're going to save a lot of money. They also will not use cheap parts that will break months after they've repaired it. They only use that company's brand parts that are certified.

I've been taking my vehicles to (Steve) Murgic's for 23 years. I could not speak more highly of him. He has incredible integrity, does excellent work...and if there are multiple ways to solve a problem...he'll give you the options. I highly recommend Murgic's for your auto repair needs.

The work they do here is great, fast and affordable. The receptionists are so friendly. I had the worst experience at a different shop and drove pretty far out of my way to go here and I am SOO glad I did. Awesome mechanic.

While rebuilding my Small block gm I had murgics machine the heads. 3k later I ran into a camahaft issue due to my own fualt. I brought it in and they diagnosed it for me and walked me through what they thought it could be. I highly recommend this place. Steve is great upfront and honestly. They do everything they can to make sure you have the information you need and the problem is fixed correctly.

I got my FX45 fixed here. Simple word to describe them - they put a smile on my face when I pick up my car from them. Awesome JOB
