We just got our snow blower back - I love the pick up and delivery option! Max was so great to work with. He always answered any questions I had in a timely manner and was very friendly while doing so. I found him to be very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful as well. I m not the most mechanically inclined person, so he was able to explain things in a way I was able to understand. Pricing for the work we had done was fair and it didn t take very long to complete.I would absolutely recommend and would utilize this company again. Thank you!

I had taken my mower to a well known local shop that to this day advertises that they fix small engines. After going back and forth most of the summer and sinking a ridiculous amount of money into my push mower- it broke again after using it five times at most. Took it to Wellington motors and they said the place I took it to had a total hack working on it. He got my mower to run again and also tuned up my snowblower at the same time. Paid him a lot less- got both my mower and my snowblower working and he offers a pick up and delivery service ( for a fee). Definitely would highly recommend and feel even better supporting a local small business.

While Max didn t help me grow and maintain my grass. He did help me by fixing my machines, this is the result of an older roller mower that I ve called a few shops and they all told me to change the engine, even though the engine was working. Max told me right away what the issue might be and his diagnosis was correct, just a simple carb cleaning would suffice. Because of this, I gave him also another machine to repair and he didn t disappoint. People like Max need to be kept in business not only for their honesty but because of his quality of work. I have finally found a local small engine shop that I know I can trust and luckily for me, he s 8 mins away! Thanks Max for your help!

The Small Engine Whisperer! Max has fixed two of my engines:Gave him symptoms of my snow blower over the phone. He diagnosed it correctly and repaired it overnight! Runs perfectly.Brought my Honda pressure washer in and he did another great job.

Max did a great job on repairing our practically new Cub Cadet snowblower. He was reasonably priced and got it done in a reasonable amount of time and best of all he picked it up and delivered it back. When we got back it ran better than it did when it new. If you're in need of any small engine repair Max at Wellington Motors is the guy you need to talk to.

Max has worked on both my snow blower and lawn mower. He did great work, fixed the problems and turned both items around in short order! I highly recommend Wellington Motors for small motor issues.

I contacted Max at first for my lawn mower. I saw reviews for him via Next Door. I had my lawn mower tuned up and then inquired about my snow blower. Really prompt, professional and did a great job on both. I wanted to also support a Local small business , Max is wonderful!

Max at Wellington Motors is the best! He picked up and returned my riding mower for a reasonable fee and thoroughly went through all needed repairs and maintenance! Following Max s work, my mower performs like brand new and I m extremely pleased with all repairs. Plan on bringing my snow blower in this fall to allow Max to perform his magic! I would strongly recommend Wellington for any small engine repairs!

I know that there should never be an emergency when dealing with small engines. I had one however and Max happened to have the cable I needed to fix the problem. The next day I could not get a sickle mower to run correctly and Max solved that in a pinch as well and sold me a carb kit I needed for a small Stihl motor. Happy with the results, I care most about honesty and I felt like we both won. I will use him again and do recommend others.

Max is amazing! He fixed my riding lawn mower and it s great. I used his pickup service and it s very reasonable. His prices were good also. He is very personable and pleasant and explains thing really well.

I found Wellington Motors on Google. I needed a snowblower and 2 lawn mowers fixed. He does an amazing job. They were fixed very quickly and was cheaper than any other place I called for an estimate. Will take all business to him from now on.

My riding John Deere mower had not been serviced for years and was in rough shape. Max did an amazing job going over all the different options I had for repairing the mower and getting it back up and running based on my budget. He made my decisions straightforward and easy. He is now the only guy I will bring my lawn mower and snow blower too.I would highly recommend Wellington Motors!10/10

Max came recommended to me through a friend at the fire department. I trusted the source and was pleased I followed through. Max picked up my riding mower, procured the parts needed and returned it in the time frame he promised. It was an easy and efficient process for me and the lawnmower works like brand new. The actual cost of parts and labor came in as quoted. No surprises. I highly recommend Max and his labor cost was very reasonable.

Max is great. I ve used Max since 2017 for doing maintenance on both my lawnmower and snowblower. I have been very pleased with his work. His prices are reasonable, and best of all he offers pickup and return. This is a huge plus for me as I am not able to transport these machines myself, which other local repair places require.

Max was great to work with. First and foremost, he took the time to listen to the issues I was having. I was having a hard time dialing in my chainsaw as I couldn't get it to stay running. Cleaned the carb myself and still was having the same issues. Brought it in to Max and he was able to resolve the issues immediately. I would recommend Max to anyone who is looking for an honest, affordable small engine mechanic.

Max turned up an old Honda GL1000 that no one else would touch.He did a great up and communicate throughout the process. I will bring all my work to him.

We have a 23 year old snowblower that needed a new starter among other things. Service and communication were great! The snowblower works better than ever. Barely had to hit the starter button and it was off and running. Thank you so much!!!

Max is a great local guy, he s worked on a couple of my air compressors and snow blowers. He s reliable, responds fast to any questions and his prices are very reasonable. I ve never had an issue with any of his work. If you need a repair on any small engine, Max at Wellington Motors is your guy.

I would highly recommend Wellington Motors! Max was very flexible about timing. He offered to keep our snowblower over the weekend because we were going out of town. He also knew it was going to snow more that week and came immediately to our house to pick it up. To our surprise, it was user error when it came to the snow blower being broken and Max took the time to show us how to properly work the machine. He didn t charge us anything. As new homeowners, we could not appreciate this enough. We will be using Max for any issues in the future and you should too!!

Max was fantastic. My blower wouldn't start, when I contacted him he explained what he thought was wrong ( and he was right) he explained what he would charge for that service, which I thought was reasonable, and he even had the option for him to pick up the machine.That worked for me. There is a charge for pick up and drop off service, but because I was close it wasn't too much. So be sure to ask about that service. I had the blower back the next day.Bottom line, Max knows what he's doing, he offers great service at reasonable prices. I recommend him next time you need small engine repair

Max was great. A quick diagnosis, a simpler and cheaper mower repair than we'd thought, and an on the spot blade sharpening. He would have tossed in the 1st repair for free until I objected. Great to find a young guy with good attitude, skill and values building his own business. Friendly, smart, great prices. A great find!

Max at Wellington Motors did a great job tuning up my Toro snowblower for the winter season. He was professional and knowledgeable, thoroughly explained the problem and what was being done to address it. Picked it up and dropped it off as well. When I noticed a small fuel leak, I let him know and he fixed that problem no questions asked. I ll be using him again for any future small engine work. Thanks Max!

Max did a great job of getting our riding mower up and running quickly and for a very fair price. He picked up and dropped off the mower, which made it very convenient. We will definitely use him in the future.

Had Max fix my snowblower a few weeks back and was very fast and efficient. Was so pleased how guick he worked and was so affordable. I will send all who ask his way for repairs!!!

I don't post many reviews but I had a great experience and agree with all the other high ratings received. My mower needed a small repair and other shops said they would keep it for at least a week. Wellington Motors said since it was is a small job just bring it over and they would knock it out right away. I ended up buying a new blade as well. This is a legit place with all the tools and parts and a genuine good person doing a great job at fair prices. Thanks

I bought a used snowblower from Max that he looked over and repaired all that was wrong with it two years ago.Just started it up on the last snow after sitting all summer. First pull again!! Gotta like that. Thanks Max!!

Max was the best! Responsive, affordable, friendly, and honest. He took our dead snowblower and revived it! I m so glad we didn t have to shovel the 4 inches of snow that just fell...he even dropped it off on the weekend so we would have it in time for the storm. Definitely will recommend in the future :)
