They said they had 2 doors that were A00 condition. We drove 180 miles at 10 miles a gallon to pick up doors to find they were dented and damaged and the bottom of the doors were junk. Very disheartening. The yard person picking them dented them when they were bouncing around in yard truck damaging them more. A service credit was give but not enough to cover the cost of repairs to the doors and striping the bottom panels off to replace. It is hard to build trust when working with this type of service business to business. It will take time to build any trust with APS as we go forward. These doors were also a repaint with prior damage. Easy to see. These were $50 doors at most, we paid lots more than that.

Was sent up here for by my boss. We were overcharged $100 above the quoted price. When I tried to have it corrected the employee accused me of trying to lie to get money back.Extremely rude and uncaring they just want to take your money and forget you exist.

Very bad at communication, especially when English is in not your first language. I was there to translate for my dad who had questions about a car part we bought .And this Travis guy wasn t patient enough or gave me enough time to at least translate to what my dad was saying to him. To me, all it seem for him was that he wanted the money and us to get out. Wouldn t recommend this place. And overpriced and wasn t given the option to paid with cash.

Great service. They helped me find the part I needed for my daughters car. Other places were condescending and rude. They were patient with me and very quick with my order. Took a little longer getting the part than they said, but it worked out well.

I was driving 90 miles to get left fender for 2015 Eouinox. When they pull it it was broken lower part because of to rusty. WHY DIDN'T CALL ME AND TELL ME AS A CUSTOMER: THIS FENDER BROKEN, CAN'T SELL...again, i was driving 2 hours from Lakeville and 2 hours back.

Ordered a 5.3 engine for an engine swap on my pickup. I called and asked if they tested the engine and I was told yes, we test everything they also said tested great and everything runs fine. I had someone swap it out for me and put new parts on the outside like water pump, pulleys, manifold bolts, new oil, etc. Installed the engine and first run it started knocking. The engine sounded like it had a rod knock. So I don t think they stand behind their testings on things. I returned it and had to throw away 2k of labor money because of an engine that wasn t actually tested. They don t actually test anything and don t recommend buying anything from them! Save your money and time! Customer service ain t so great either.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the Rockville MN location as I was picking up a hood for my Mini Cooper S project. The condition of the hood I purchased was exactly as indicated on the website (unlike the other yards I have visited). I was impressed with the operation. I have been to dozens of breaker yards over the years of working on cars and this is in the top three as far as being neat and organized. The "will call" parts pick up was in the same spot where the staff was preparing other customers parts to ship out. It was a busy area. The boxes they ship with are new, the packaging procedure to protect the parts was deliberate and careful. This is not a Mom and Pop operation there were dozen or more people working at APS. More cars were arriving on a flatbed as I left the facility. I arrived and left with my part, which they helped load into my SUV, inside of five minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend APS to any builder or DIY'er.

Been going through them for years getting parts, bought a 2015 ford 5.0 coyote motor from them, told the guy I was planning on putting it in a 2004 Ford Mustang. Well it took me a few months to get it all put together and done, finally was able to start it and it ran perfect, after it warmed up it dropped all oil pressure and started knocking. They told me because it was going in a custom application there was nothing they could do for me 3500$ motor that s junk, And a sorry sir there s nothing we can do for you. Thanks APS

These guys went above and beyond to find me an triple zero rated replacement hood, and for a great price. I'm very satisfied. I've read some other reviews (complaints) of people receiving bad customer service over the phone, or being annoyed that the staff won't provide perfect photos of every part they have available. My best guess is that's because the staff is busting their tails to quickly fill orders for customers who already paid. I gave them my trust when I paid $400 for a hood without seeing a photo, and they followed through!! I received updates via phone after I ordered and when my part was available, and was helped quickly by friendly staff when I picked up the hood.

They do not back up their warranty. They claim it has to go in the exact same vehicle it came out of. Several vehicles take the exact same motor. That s why they are interchangeable. Do NOT do business with them. Just rip offs.

Great customer service. I made an error in ordering a headlight and didn't realize it until the morning when I could see the "good" headlight on the other side of the hood. I called APS right away and they cancelled the transaction and refunded my payment within minutes. I will use APS again whenever I can. Thank you APS for being helpful and understanding of my mistake.

APS was once my favorite yard to deal with, prices were always good, shipping was always good, I actually have all their parts feeding my own inventory, as almost all yards need to broker parts in, but last year I bought a pickup box that my customer refused because there was rust on it, rust that wasn't pointed out on their inventory or communicated before it was shipped out. Mike took my order and when he got it back, he says there was no rust on it but a week later when this box is back on inventory they have new pictures showing this rust. Now APS wants me to pay all the freight on a problem they could have caught before it shipped. I have ordered 241 parts totaling over $42K since 2003 and they want to throw my business away for $400. The genius manager that won't even return my calls would lucky to have a job anywhere else.

Called for a fender gave the part nmb from car-part.com and the guy claimed the color wasn't what was listed so I called martini in Avon and 800j pearl white Acadia fender was $100 instead of $140 like these guys wanted and listed the wrong part or the person �nserwing the phone was just that confused and impatient.But saved me $ to go elsewhere so won't b calling here ever again just like Pam's Auto.some places are just meant for other people.

Was dealing with a weird transmission issue and wanted a picture emailed to me to make sure it was for sure right to keep a HUGE run-a-round. Was of course told no and that if it said it had 4 connectors it must have 4 connectors. So i bought it anyway and was shipped to me and it had 5????????? Weird right!? So I called and return it. Then called two weeks later wondering where my $950 refund was and was told i refused pick-up?????? WT*? All in all I found out that APS bought the transmission from another Yard and had it shipped to me. I called the other yard and they even said they credited APS a week and a half ago? APS DOE NOT have hassle free returns! If i could put no stars I would.

They stick to the 30 day policy. I was 2 days late to return a $4000 hemi challenger motor with 40k miles. Still on the crate and in original plastic. They said they wouldn't take it back even after I told them they could have it back for $500. So if anyone needs a filly dressed low mile hemi motor. Let me know.

I purchased an auto part from APS. The guy I worked with was rude and unprofessional from the start. If I didn t really need the part, I definitely would have gone with another salvage yard. Definitely will not be doing any business with them in the future!

Ridiculously low customer service levels. I called 5 other yards and ordered an alternator. I asked them to compare to the pictures and they thankfully helped me out because they were the wrong ones. I asked auto parts solutions to do the same thing to make sure they had the right one for me. They told me that they would not waste the time to get pictures unless they had a sale so I told them I will take the alternator if it is the right one but I need a picture to make sure. They then told me again that they would not send pictures unless they had an order. So I ordered it, and they did not send me pictures so the next day I called to find out where my picture was. They then told me that they will send me pictures of the box when it was ready to be picked up for shipping. ARE YOU KIDDING ME...I DON"T WANT IT UNLESS IT IS RIGHT. What a couple of idiots.

Currently having issues with a bad transmission. Not only did I spend $ for the rebuild one with warranty but another $800 for at another shop. And still absolutely no help. Old transmission shifted perfect. This one does what it wants between 2 and 3rd.

ordered a passenger rear door the one in the picture of whole truck . Got a driver rear door the one in the other picture . 700 plus dollars and they didn t even confirm purchase or send invoice that would have prevented this . I even called and asked for the invoice still didn t get it . Called to have them fix problem they wouldn t send correct door . Yelled at me called me a liar about them sending wrong door and lack of invoice . Never treated so bad for someone else s mistake . Travis the sales rep doing it wouldn t let me talk to someone else . Said he was the supervisor and he was it ! Said he would send a bill of lading to return it . Called to see where it was and that they had my email said I would have it by 5.00 . Never got it . BEWARE ! I order a lot of used parts this way but these guys are bad news !!

We ordered an engine from them that they told us had a cracked oil pan but was good other then that and that their engines were "tested". After we got the original engine out, we went to install the engine from APS, and we noticed that the pan looked like it was cracked from the accident, not from something that happened at their yard which made me suspect the one they gave us had probably been ran with no oil and was bad. Good thing we looked after removing the pan!!! There was chunks of the engine the size of 1/8'+ all over in the pan and if anyone cared to look, would have seen as an indicator that this motor is not only in question of being defective, but is obviously exploded internally!! Then we grabbed the #1 rod bearing and it moved a good 1/8"-1/4" by hand!! I was so angry that we just about installed this "tested" engine I just about had a stroke. I called and was very nice about the situation and talked to one of the counter help who told me first that "all of the engines we sell are tested" and then after being informed the situation, that "he only knows what the computer screen in front of him tells him". Sounds like a bad deal all around. We lot a lot of time and money from this experience and have found out in the mean time from many others to no order parts from this company and one other compared them to Aabco in Fridley, only worse!! WOW!! Good news is they did refund us for the engine.........at least that's done.

placed my order, picked it up the next day in the condition advertised. fast and knowledgeable staff, i wasnt in the yard for more than 3 minutes before i was back on my way.
