I called and asked how much it would be to replace my idler pulley. He said he wanted to bring it in and look at it first. I told him Ryan Chevrolet already diagnosed it and told me it was the idler pulley. He wanted to argue and tell me that they still need to look at it. Why can't they just fix the problem? Extra charges for diagnostics? Beware!!

I definitely wanted to share the positive experience I have had with this place. They helped me when I needed a tire fixed quickly. Their communication was appreciated when I needed to make a choice about our trailer wires. And they fixed a very old wagon that I thought was not repairable.

Can t judge them on their work. But the pricing is very steep. I needed brakes and rotors they wanted almost $1300 for all 4. Also wanted plugs and wires for the same 2008 impala which they quoted at $630. I brought it to JMS auto in Winsted which I ve used in the past under $1200 for both services. If your looking for a cost friendly place I d suggest going elsewhere.

These guys are awesome! Tim & Scott are the best. I had a major car repair and they made the process easy and so much less painful. They kept in touch with me and laid out their repair plan in an easy understandable format. Scott even jumped in his car and came to where I was just to verify it was safe to drive into the shop so I wouldn't have to have it towed. Above & beyond, guys. You don't get that from too many people these days. Go see them.......you won't be sorry. (Oh and the candy pouch in my console was the cherry on the top) Thank you ever so much, West Hennepin Auto & Tire!

Scott and Tim are trustworthy, helpful and knowledgeable. They explain everything. I really like the follow up too. They call to make sure everything is still working and ask if I have additional questions. I have never received this type of follow up from other shops. True professionals. The new facility is beautiful and clean.

Camping trip planned for Labor Day weekend, doing our checks on our trailer and found a screw in the tire..... West Hennepin got us in within a hour and fixed the tire! Great service! Fast response! Will be back!

Tim and Scott and the team at West Hennepin do a great job and have been fixing my two vehicles for years. They have always given me a fair deal and square deal and all the work I have had done by them has been done professionally, and done right, with no issues afterwards. Don't hesitate to take your car to them for service. They will take care of you, and they are a great asset to the community.

Trustworthy and Reliable... says it all. I always know I will get the straight up truth about what needs to be done to my car and I won't get up- sold on a bunch of other maintenance and repair items that might not be necessary, as is the case at other repair shops that I have dealt with in the past. We bring all our family vehicles here for service and always receive top notch service at a competitive price.

Friendly and affordable service! Don't hesitate to bring your vehicle in if you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Unlike other shops I have been to, West Hennepin Auto won't tell you something needs to be fixed when it doesn't. I recommend them to all of my family and friends!

The staff at West Hennepin auto are amazing. Well priced and a fast turnaround. The shop is clean, well cared for and comfortable. I wouldn't bring my vehicles anywhere else. Very impressed with them.

Tim and Scott did an awesome job on my classic cars front end alignment.I am very pleased with there work and pricing. Super clean shop and professional people. It always feels like visiting old friends doing business with these folks.

Some of the best service I have ever received at an auto shop; both customer service and the work preformed on the vehicle. They helped take care of the warranty portion, and I would highly recommend West Hennepin Auto & Tires' service to anyone. Thank you all for your help! Tony A.

I was in a bind, and these guys really helped me out. They checked my car right away so I would know what to expect. They got my vehicle repaired faster than I would have ever expected. Price was a little high, but they worked with my warranty company as well, which helped. I am very grateful.

Pretty good guys took my tires even though they are difficult to change! FYI if you have a real low profile side wall on 24" rims they are not going to do them because it's hard on the machine and almost impossible to get on and no bigger than 24 rims!! But thank you guys for struggling with mine !

I would recommend West Hennepin Auto & Tire to anyone! Tim and Scott are second to none when it comes to customer service. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have the highest integrity! I always know my car is in great hands at their shop. If you are looking for an auto shop and live in the West Metro... I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to West Hennepin Auto & Tire!!

Tim and his guys have helped me out more times than I can think of. Their attention to detail and honest assessment of issues makes it easy to trust their advice. I've never had to go back to have them fix something they worked on (which has happened with other shops) and they are always willing to work with me on what needs to be done and what can wait. The work is top notch and they always have an eye on safety- they make sure I know of any issues that could cause me to be sitting on the side of the road in this subzero Minnesota winter.

Excellent customer service - when I bring my truck for service I am greeted with a willingness to provide great service. They take the normal oil change to the next level; checking the truck to make sure that it is safe; i.e. tires; lights; fluids in the car. They also will keep a record of your visits and the work that was done on the truck and what works still needs to be done. You know that they actually care about your safety and treat your fair.

I went to another shop in the area and they wanted to charge me more money than I could afford to replace my altenator....so I decided that I would check around before committing myself to this cost. I checked with West Hennepin Auto & Tire and they quoted me half the cost of the other repair shop. I decided that I wanted them to do the work so I left my car with them and they finished the job in a timely manner and were very friendly.I would recommend that anyone looking for good quality work with a friendly atmosphere to go to West Hennepin Auto & Tire.

I have had a number of different services performed on my car by West Hennepin Auto. Each time they are fast and friendly, and I trust their recommendations knowing that they are not going to offer or suggest repairs and services I do not need. I would recommend the to anyone!

I feel really fortunate that West Hennepin is the closest auto shop to me, because this is the kind of service I would happily go out of my way for. They are so helpful and the job is always done quickly. Can't recommend this place enough!

Scott is great guy to work with! Haven't talked to him for 10 years remembered me on the spot and has answered and help me out get my old high school car into his shop from 1000miles away. Thanks again for dealing with my continuous phone calls!!!

The people there were very nice but they are very very high priced costed me a hundred and some odd dollars for them to put a valve stem in my car tire when I could have went somewhere else and paid maybe $20 I believe my total was like $136 and all they did was put a valve stem on and my tire on my car

West Hennepin Auto has been taking care of my car for 8 years. Today, I had to get in last minute on a hot Friday for an oil change because I needed to leave town last minute for a family emergency. WHA came through and got me in! Thanks Scott and Tim!
