I had previously taken my GM SUV to another mechanic shop due to engine power loss and stability track codes sporadically going off. After losing engine power on the freeway during rush hour it was time to go in. They couldn't figure out exactly what was causing the codes but decided after keeping my car overnight that it must be the battery. $350+ later I was sent on my way. Once again my SUV lost engine power and here came the codes. I was not ready to go back to Tillsons after the experience I had had.After voicing my need for a good honest mechanic shop to my friends and family Heartland was recommended to me by four people. I checked the reviews and with fingers crossed I gave them a call. I spoke with Jim and it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders he was so kind! He knew exactly what I was talking about and even called out the codes to me. He explained that this is a common issue with GM vehicles and they see it all the time. I brought my SUV in the morning and within a few hours it was fixed and she has been running great and no codes ever since! I was so impressed with their knowledge from me just telling them what was happening, the honesty of the work they had done and the cost was unbeatable! I will definitely be going back with my future car needs! I would recommend anyone needing good, honest, straight forward work on your vehicle go to Heartland Tire Service they do more than tires!

Best auto service shop in Rochester. I brought my SUV in because it was smoking, they determined they could fix the problem, but it would cost more than what my SUV is worth. Jim was very honest and helpful even though I didn't have them fix my car. Will be coming back! Thank you.

Jim is a stand up guy. Professional and Courteous. This shop speaks for itself. Definitely repeat business on my end. Yes they do more than tires!

Car didn't start Christmas morning, I called and left a message, they got back to me right away the next morning. They got everything taken care of that same day. Super fast, affordable, communicative, and very friendly!!! I do not live in town, but would consider coming back!!!

Great Experience! I had a flat tire called them and was able to bring it in to fix it. They were my saviors! Tire was fixed in less then an hr! Would recommend this company!

So I brought my car for a check to see what all needed to be done to my car bc I was going to get a loan to fix everything that needed to be fixed. Well they didn't do what I asked them to they did what they seen and now my car has a major power steering leak for months tbh bc I can't negotiate my loan to get it fixed. After they told me my brakes had a good enough disc on them I should be fine my back and front brakes have gone a few times, my windshield wipers were all messed up wouldn't turn off I had to do something to figure out how to stop the glitch, my doors after they had fixed my driver side door handle and window would lock weird and not unlock like normal, they said there was nothing wrong but there still is. I would have never gotten the loan if I had known they were going to just do what they seen I'd have taken it somewhere else and had all the work done like I asked. But I guess I'm stuck paying off a loan and paying to fix the things they didn't. Won't do that again.

Threw 120 dollar away for nothingTo be fixed if your a mechanic know what your doing and identify the problem now I have to get new tires and have a re alignment

I needed a full set of trailer tires after traveling to Rochester from Michigan. Heartland had 3 in store and transferred 2 more in from Madison. They got them mounted and ready to go the day before we needed to head home. Great products and friendly service.

Absolutely awesome guys. A lot of shops don t have big enough lifts to pick up 3500 duallys, they do. A lot of shops will say they re too busy but some how heartland will always try to fit you in. I had horrible experience with two other places with a front end problem that was plaguing me and they never fixed the problem, after I finally figured out the issue, I just repaired it myself. They torque all your wheels instead of two or three ugga duggas from the impact because it s faster and easier. Taken my truck there three times because of problems that were urgent and they always fit me in whenever they could and always updated me. Been nothing but the best and won t go anywhere else. ABSOLUTELY will recommend them to anyone in an hour radius. They also do suspension work, front end work, as well as drive line work and probably other things. Just the absolute best of guys.

Finished work in half the promised time. That was tremendous customer service. First time customer. I will go back and recommend. Great job. Second time back and again finished in half the time. Outstanding. Again outstanding service.

Best repair shop in town that I have used for servicing my vehicles. I feel like I am always getting honest service of only what is needed and only charged for that. I had taken a vehicle to a new car dealer for a recall and besides doing the recall gave me a estimate for $2700 worth of other "repairs" they felt was needed. Afterwards, I took the vehicle to Heartland and they only felt that 1 of the items for $400 was really needed. Glad I got a second opinion. A few years later, none of the other issues have been a problem.

Have been using Heartland for years. They really know what they are doing. The best point is they are an honest shop, you will always get a good value for your dollar. The same people have worked there forever so you always know the people you are dealing with. You can go elsewhere but you will probably pay too much or get inferior work.7/13/22 Just had a rear signal replaced. Less than $20. Can't do it yourself for that. These guys are the best.

Good for tires. Felt they were taking advantage of me as they tried to charge me $800 for a nearly totaled car's muffler fix. Went elsewhere and payed 90% less for a better result.

I had a screw and an actual drill bit in my tire. These guys fixed it in less than 2 hours for a very reasonable price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will use them for all my tire business moving forward.

I had new tires put on my vehicle. Jim was very helpful in giving me quotes for different tires and explaining the difference between them. They were extremely fairly priced, plus they bought my used tires for an additional discount. On the day of my appointment, they called to let me know that the delivery truck had not delivered in a few days (weather) so they didn't have the tires I ordered yet. I totally understood, and expected to be rescheduled for later in the week. I was very pleasantly surprised when he said that, in light of the situation, they would be putting on BETTER tires for the same price of the ones I ordered!I showed up to to my appointment, happening to be 20 minutes early, and they were able to take me right away. They were finished in less than 50 minutes. Overall, a GREAT experience. I will definitely be going back.

Recently had a transmission and a computer board replaced in my Town and Country. These guys were amazing! Friendly, helpful, and straightforward. They made the entire process easy and as stress free as it could be under the circumstances.

We were in Rochester to play a show and got a flat. Heartland was able to get us in, patched up, and back on the road quickly and inexpensively. Their customer service was great too!

Honest auto shop. They take the time to explain what is going on and have great service. The two times I have been there they have been very busy, but they had great turn around time both times- proof they are the best in Rochester.

I'm overwhelming grateful to the staff. Traveling thousands of miles from home they kept me on the road and the service was fast and outstanding. They repaired my bent control arm and did an alignment in less than 30 mins. I cannot thank you all enough.

Great Service. Very good mechanics. If they fix some thing it stays fixed! Spendy but great service. Sell Good Year Tires. Nothing they wouldn't do. Great customer service. A must go to place! Call ahead for appointment.

Came to get my tires rotated, as the previous 4 were bought here and rotation was included. Scheduled an appointment for 11am and brought my car. After not seeing my car go on the lift for over 40 minutes I decided to leave. Being that a rotation is included and they don't make money it's not a priority for then. Go to discount tire they will price match and only work on tires and would never make you wait that long even on a walk in let alone a scheduled appointment. DO NOT get your tires here
