I was at the Mayo Clinic visiting my brother-in-law that had just had surgery. On a five-hour trip there I noticed my Jeep was pulling a bit left and I also needed my tires rotated and oil changed. With some extra time, I got it in and out quickly at Firestone in Rochester. They were very nice, changed the oil, rotated the tires, alignment, completed a full-service check (finding I needed a radiator clamp), and I got a new muffler which they ran and got from another location. Overall, I was in and out in a very short amount of time. My brother-in-law was able to get released from Mayo, my Jeep was also well, everything was great. I recommend this Firestone. They did a good job.

I brought my car in for what seemed like a major leak. Firestone told me they fixed the main leak (oil) and put in a dye to find other leaks. They replaced a bulb for my license plate light also. All seemed fine and dandy. THAT SAME DAY I brought my car home, that major leak was still leaking. I started driving to church then all of a sudden my car overheated and started smoking/steaming. I called Firestone to see if they partnered with any towing service and the lady on the phone that Pulver Towing would come and it would be of no charge to me. As soon as I arrived back at Firestone with the tow truck driver, that same lady I talked to earlier went back on her word and said they would only cover the towing if the problem was their fault, which was not explained earlier. So $800 later i got about $300 worth of repairs that I DID NOT need, plus $110 for towing, then when they did their actual job and fixed the leak the total was a little over $800 between the two visits and the charge for the tow. I would have never considered Firestone if my favorite shop was open on the weekend. The fact Firestone is open on the weekend is their only redeeming factor and the only reason they got a star in my 1 star review.

The people there are always so friendly and knowledgeable! I had a diagnostic done as well as new brakes and I expected them to find all kinds of things that they thought needed fixed. They didn't recommend one thing!!!! This is so important to me. They aren't just trying to make money. They provide great service as well! I am sold on Firestone!

The team went above and beyond their store "guidelines" to help me connect an auxiliary power cable to my battery posts. I was from out of town and had limited tools with me so I was unable to loosen a bolt/nut on the battery clamp. Even with their tools and expertise, it took some "extra effort" to made the electrical connection that I needed. But they were successful and I was on my way quickly.Service: Battery

I really can t recommend this place, which is too bad because all of the employees are super friendly and they have things well organized. I have had bad experiences with another Firestone in the past but decided to give this location a chance and I was quoted $1000 to replace my *new* tires. I took them in to another place and they inspected them for 45 minutes and could find nothing wrong. Mike, the manager, was very kind and showed me what the problem was but I cannot believe I was told I should replace all of my new tires because there was a tiny tear on one of them. I was also quoted $500 each for 2 other repairs. I did one of them but decided not to do the other until I get a second opinion. I also mentioned some repairs that my stereo system needs and they said it must be a problem with the radio stations in Rochester I really do not trust their advice here and will not be going back.

Came to for a basic diagnostic of the shocks, they charged me to look up a code on my engine that I had already done at Autozone. The gas cap was loose. Unprofessional! Would not remove the $145 charge to check my engine, again I did not need my engine looked at. Very rude on the phone when I asked, why did they charge for that. I eventually picked up my car and did not make a fuss. I use the South Firestone and would not recommend the Northwest one. They will add things to your inspection Won t be going there again. Changed my next appointment to South yesterday.

Had to get an alignment done because we had to get pulled out of snow and felt the alignment was off. We have the 3 year alignment with tires plus so we went here because they are affiliated with them. The worker there basically said why did you get an alignment when it was barely off. Umm because we wanted to and we have the 3 year alignment, I don t think we really need a reason. Basically he just didn t want to do his job and was very rude. The tires plus in lacrosse goes through a whole health check which they did not here. We also asked if it could possibly get done sooner than an hour because we were on a time crunch, that s how long they said it would be. He said No and then called us 30 minutes later to tell us it was done?!? I understand if it is protocol to say an hour but he didn t need to be rude about.Service: Wheel alignment

I was in a really difficult spot with an Enterprise rental and Autumn was absolutely incredible when it came to helping us. She got us back on the road when I thought for sure we were stranded. Best customer service I've ever seen at a Firestone!!

I m telling y all right now DO NOT GO HERE!! The manager has a bad attitude very very sarcastic when all I m trying to do is figure out what s going on with my truck ! They worked on my truck twice last week and it s still doing the same thing ! I have paid hundreds of dollars and diagnostic checks and they still havent found the problem clearly because my truck is still doing the same thing they are horrible

We brought our long term rental in for routine service. The tires were replaced due to wear, which was nice going into winter. They found the alignment to be out of spec, which is entirely possible. However I question their initial readings having been in that industry for many years and knowing how a tech can fudge this. Now, the steering wheel is off center and we have had them recheck with it still off center after. Part of the problem is the service advisor did not listen. I kept saying that the wheel is low to the right, they kept saying alignment and did not enter on the RO the actual concern, just alignment. If they did not successfully complete an oil change and tire replacement the score would have been a 1.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Ever since taking my car to get its brakes fixed my car has gone downhill. They mentioned there was a recall on a part of the vehicle and they repaired it for free and with doing it they d have to change the oil which was like why I just had an oil change about two weeks before that. Then when they finished the repair the car was hesitant to start. So the guy doing the repair took it for a drive, and brought it back. Now I m afraid to let anyone touch it. I trusted you guys now I m stuck trying to figure everything out. I m very disappointed that this is happening.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

I had 1 cupped tire (oddly worn), everything else was fine. I wanted them to diagnose why that 1 tire was wearing like that and nothing more. I knew that my tires were nearing the end of their tread life and explained that up front upon arriving. It's my summer set and I knew this year was my final season on them, but I still wanted to know what was causing the unusual tire wear on that 1 wheel. I asked them to check the balance and straightness on said wheel as well.I arrived for my appointment to hear they were behind by 45 min to an hour. Okay, I can come back later. Made a new appt for 3 hours later.I arrived and they took my car right in and started the diagnosis. 16 mins is all it took for a diagnosis. Service advisor came into the waiting area and told me I needed new tires and an alignment. That's interesting, but okay, if an alignment will fix the issue, lets get it done. They tried the up-sell on the lifetime alignment and I said no thank you. 15 mins later it was done ... a 4 wheel alignment. <<< Even more interesting as it can easily take 45-50 mins to perform a 4 wheel alignment.I asked to see the alignment sheet. It showed that it was already in spec before they started. If the alignment was in spec, why wouldn't they tell me this instead of charging me $106 to do nothing? While the sheet showed toe-in being different by .006 of a degree when they were done, the jamb nuts and tie rod show no signs of being moved(checked at home). Not only that, but they never removed the wheel to check its balance. I sat and watched the tech in the waiting area so I know.So while they may do a great job mounting and balancing tires, they have a lot of work to do to earn my respect with vehicle diagnosis. I was really hoping to find a place with a good technician that I could trust. This isn't it. I would advise finding a different auto repair shop.Service: Wheel alignment

Awful service through my entire experience. First, it took much longer than I was told. I was told a half hour to an hour, and got a call over an hour after dropping off my car that they hadn't even started. They told me they couldn't find the shims and said if I found them, they'd correct the issue for free. I got a call the next day quoting me over 200 dollars extra plus parts for a job I already payed for. Avoid this place at all costs.

Michael the service manager was amazing to work with. He was able to get everything done an super quickly and was even able to find a tire to match the one I needed replaced, complete car care, rear brakes, new tire, all the works in less than 3 hours! Will 100% be a repeat customer.

Normally go somewhere else but was way overdue for oil change and out of town. Same oil WAY overpriced.. All bays empty and still took almost an hour. No wifi. No coffee. Actually gave me a partial refund after my husband called t and questioned them on it. Not cool and will never go back.

Brake went out on way to Wedding..got their at 7 am the second they opened they had me on the road..in a little over an hour even having to find parts..so so grateful to an amazing staff that took such good care..and got me to the Wedding 2 1/2 hours away on time!
