Got a tow after I hit a deer on my way to work. Took an hour to get there (<20 miles) Great friendly driver but was ripped off when the bill came. Insurance company said it was more than double what they would typically see. Was told pay or don't get your things when we complained about price. $374 bill for a 20 mile tow - charged a flat rate to bring the truck and then charged a mileage fee both ways even though it was only towed to their shop for an estimate. Had car 3 days and never gave an estimate. Drove the car home and brought to another shop. Had an estimate after 2 days from new company. Have heard since that others have had similar experiences of being over charged by them. Was in the market for 2 new vehicles (1 before hitting the deer). Even though they had vehicles on their lot they were so rude and we felt taken advantage of on the tow fee that we didn't even consider buying from them. Went to another dealer and bought 2 cars. If they would have been more considerate and rational they could have increased their business with us. Instead we will tell everyone we know not to use them.

Great place to do business with. Our suburban got hit and needed repair. Called almost every shop in St Cloud area. Everyone refused to even look at it for the 2 months. These guys on the other hand, made it work. Worked it into their busy schedule. By the time we got back from our little vacation it was done and ready to go: better than it went it. Even washed the whole thing so it wasn t covered in mud. Definitely recommend and would bring my vehicles back if ever needed.

I blew a tire and got towed to Friedrich s and I feel SO lucky I ended up with them. They were able to get me back on the road that same day even though the kind of tires my car needs are kinda hard to find. They were able to save me a solid chunk of change in the process. We do business with Friedrich's on a weekly basis. They service our semi truck's, do DOT's and body work for us. They always do an excellent job. We have also purchased trucks from them and had them custom build for our need. They always turn out quality work at reasonable prices.

I work for home health care so I'm in my car all day long, going among homes across multiple counties in all weather. I'm currently at 237,000 miles on my car and have never missed a day of work because of Friedrich's thorough inspections each time I take my car for an oil change; they catch problems beginning so they can be fixed before I'm sitting on the side of the road. The shop is small enough that they know my name yet big enough that they always seem to get me scheduled in a reasonable amount of time and I have my car back the same day--don't know how they do it but I sure do appreciate it.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Nephew told me they had a John Deere backhoe for sale, he and I tried reaching out multiple times over Facebook to get more info, and they never got back to either of us, then as we were on our way to go look at it in person, they sold it out from under us. Never giving this company a chance at my business again, wasted a solid 8 hours of both of our lives driving there for nothing.

Back in December I was looking for used 15" tires ,Chris from Fredrich's looked thru his inventory & he had none . He told me where to find some & I got them & he mtg them on my rims . I was very satisfied & Chris was very helpful with this matter & I'll be going back to Friedrich' again .

Wow ! What a great experience. I drive a commercial truck that lost the transmission in while on a delivery route. The professionalism by this repair facility was amazing. They walk us through repair logistics and pricing while always working with the best possible financial outcome for the customer. Excellent customer service and quality work at a fair price. Any auto work is going to carry an expense, they key is to find a place you trust. I trust their advice completely. They appreciate the value I need in repairs and listen to my wishes. Been a loyal customer for 15 years now, never a bad experience. Can't say enough good about the place, really.

Great service and quality work. The guys are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They checked over my car thoroughly and found some things that I didn't know were wrong, and let me decide if I wanted them fixed at the time or not. I would not hesitate to bring my car back here.

Wow! So refreshing to do business with a company that is honest, reasonably priced, and really good at what they do. Had tires replaced, oil changed, alignment, air filter changed, and rear pads and rotors changed. Wasn't upsold on anything, just the work I wanted done. Was surprised by the reasonable price as well. Even got a loaner car from them for the day. This was my first experience with Friedrich's but it will not be my last. They got me in despite having a full schedule and went the extra mile for me and my van. I thought the water pump was leaking but it turned out to just be a hose issue. Done the same day and very reasonably priced. I can't recommend them enough.

Chris and the guys at Friedrich's are great. My car needed new tires this fall and they totally hooked us up, got me in their within a day (I had a road trip planned the upcoming weekend). Chris gave my husband three options to choose from and told us what we'd be getting with each. Solid, honest service.

I hit a deer on my way to work near Friedrich's Auto on a morning when it was -20F. I drove my Ford smoking and leaking fluid, dragging my front bumper on the ground to their shop. These guys were kind and generous from the minute I stepped out of my wrecked vehicle. They let me in before the shop opened to keep warm and gave me a loaner car to use for a full week at no cost. My vehicle was totalled, so they got nothing out of the deal and still they were willing to help me out. I will be making a point to have my new vehicle worked on at Friedrich's. They operate with a level of integrity that you just don't see very often. I highly recommend these guys and their fantastic auto shop.

I called to have my van unlocked, since I locked my keys inside . The gentleman on the other end said he was on his way immediately! A local business woman came out with a metal ended fly swatter and was able to open my vehicle for me. I called him back to cancel, and he was just as pleasant & understanding. I'm glad I called this company!

While bringing our Scamp camper up to Backus for some minor repairs from our home in Chaska, MN our SUV broke down in Royalton. Called AAA and they had it towed to Freidrick's Auto, where the staff was exceptional! After they diagnosed the problem, fuel pump, Chris was persistent that we take a loaner car to get something to eat, and we took his offer (Howie's has awesome Pizza!) We don't know who worked past closing that Friday to replace the fuel pump, but if it wasn't for their time we wouldn't have been able to get back on the road that evening.There's a framed letter on the counter, from another AAA traveler that was returning home to St. Paul in the 1970's when his vehicle broke down and it says it all! Not being from around here, it's easy to tell that the service hasn't changed! Thank you so much for everything! The expertise and hard work of the employees made a very stressful day into just a setback. We made it to our hotel that night, dropped the Scamp off the next morning, and enjoyed the rest of the weekend!We got a call from Freidrick's on Monday, they were checking up on us and making sure we got to where we needed to go safely. They actually called and talked to us instead of sending a letter or email! Another sign of quality service!<br />
