Buyers Beware: Found this truck on there inventory page. Got a video walk around and was told the truck was clean, fully serviced with no issues. My transport driver called me and said there was parts missing from the truck and the hood wouldn't close. Jeff at Carco said these issues would be taken care prior to shipping. The truck was delivered without taking care of the issues. The headlights don't work , tires are bald and dry rotted, door keys are missing, engine service was not done, battery box cover missing and both doors had paint damage from peeling off the door decals. None of this appeared description or in the video or photos. Truck wont pass PA inspection. Emails go unanswered about the issues. Now I have to put more money into a truck I paid a premium for.

My friend Doug bought a REALLY NICE Freightliner Boom truck from Jeff. Super nice truck. I drove the truck back to Appleton Wisconsin and the truck ran like a champ.. that Cummins diesel just purred all the way back. Thank you Jeff at CarCo.

I had a very bad expierience with Carco Automotive. We had a Challanger tractor that i bought from IAA Auction i called Carco Automotive to help load it on 1 of our stepdeck trialers. First the qouted me 600dlls for laoding! I told them that 1 track of the tractor was broken of and that probally the would have to take a few bolts of so that the could take the 1 side track of!! the told me it could be between 800-1000 dlls to do that!! Later when the jobe was done the charge me 2800dlls and there was nothing we could do about the price!! so i feel that the took advantage of this situation...

We just blew a trailer tire on our way home from a salmon fishing in Wisconsin. We were scrambling to figure out what to do. My brother called Jeff and he and another man showed up in like less than a minute. They had our spare on in no time. There are still great people in this world and Jeff and CarCo Truck & Equipment in Rice are proof. Thank you for getting us on our way home and making a big problem for us really small.

If you re planning to buy from them good luck. Sent them emails and messages on Facebook, truck paper, and even their own website. Not a single reply to any of them. Stopped by, almost got stuck in their yard cause it s terribly maintained. Place looks like a salvage yard with crashed trucks and parts everywhere. Couldn t find the truck that I looked at online nor anyone to talk to. Place is a massive dump with worst customer service I ve ever seen.

Should have read the reviews before buying a 2021 Ram 4500. Jeff told me the vehicle was not a salvaged title. He lied, it is and we still do not have a title. He showed pictures of light front end damage. When we agreed on a price we were told the title had no issues. CarCo was to fix a few issues. The power mirrors didn't work. The truck pulled to the right, the check engine light was on and the TBS light was on. CarCo agreed to fix the issues and clean the interior of the vehicle as it is was very dirty. When the driver picked up the vehicle the power mirror's did get fixed. Nothing else got repaired. The tie rod assembly was broken/bent for a tune of $1300. A rear dual tire was flat and the truck had broken TPS sensors inside the rim. The cab was not touched. They lied and said they did a alignment on the vehicle. The tie rod assembly was bent and was unusable. Do yourself a favor and avoid CarCo.

Jeff is the most arrogant human being i have ever met. Had a signed sales order and they had confirmation that there was a check in the mail. Got told they sold the truck a week before they actually decided to notify me and was never even given a courtesy call. Was told basically oh well that's tough. At no point were we ever told there was more interest in the truck than just us. We know that the truck had not been started or moved in over a month before we got there and all of a sudden when we are interested and have all of this paperwork turned in and signed, there are other buyers. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company. They have no interest in the value of customer care. The treatment we were given after travelling 6.5 hours to meet with them (we had an appointment) was disgusting. The owner's ex husband (Jeff) has the attitude that nobody but him is important. Their office staff is either so disorganized that they lost our sales agreement that we signed or their office staff is so incompetent that they forgot they even had one with us. I would issue negative stars if it were at all possible. This company has very questionable ethics and tactics. I would never recommend them.

I had a great service experience with a CarCo tow truck driver recently! I slid on the first snow and hit the curb, which broke one of my tires. He brought an old spare that was lying around for my car. It actually ended up not fitting, so he drove us to the nearest tire shop and helped me get a discount on a new tire there. He fixed my tire for me as well. Really friendly guy! I could tell he liked to help people out who were in a rut.

Buyer beware. When you are buying from a long distance off and flying in to pick up your unit, you have to rely heavily on what you are being told about what you re buying. Extremely misleading description.Supposedly brand new 2020 truck with the exception of 8600 miles. Supposedly just had damage to the box on the back which had been taken off and replaced with a brand new hoist. Turned out to have been wrecked extensively (undisclosed damage) Door had been replaced (not even power windows/lock door like the other side) The new hoist didn t work at all and had to be taken into a professional shop to get working, steering tires from two separate manufacturers (neither of which come on a new freightliner) had easily 30 to 40,000 miles on them. When replacing the cracked grill there was damage found to the radiator brackets. They did pay to correct some of these items and some of them may seem minor but all indicate that this truck had been through something major and it was not made clear the extent of the damage it had sustained. When backing up to dump the very first load after all these issues were corrected, The rear mudflaps caught underneath the tires on level ground and ripped BOTH the fenders off the back of the truck because they were mounted with cheap plastic brackets! This truck was $30-$50,000 over what a realistic price should have been for what I bought. Extremely clear that these people slap trucks together with the cheapest/inferior parts and unprofessional labor they can find simply to gouge customers for a big profit. Don t walk, RUN away from this place!By the way I asked Jeff if the truck had a marked title (ie salvage title) He stated no, they don t do that in Minnisota if the vehicle has been repaired. What I didn t know, because I m not in the used truck business, is that what he said is true but the second you try to register it in your own state they check the nation s database and BAM! Your New truck that you just over-paid for has a salvage title. Your a fool if you believe these crooks didn t know this. Maybe they don t know the laws in every state But North Dakota? Neighboring state to the West?? I m sure they have screwed hundreds of customers with that one.

I have never left a bad review for any company ever in my life, but I have been burned pretty severely so i feel i should tell my story. Back on January 4th I bought 2 trucks from carco. the first being a 2007 International 4400 wrecker and the other being a 2017 Freightliner flatbed. The first issue was the truck was pictured as having equipment when I got there they said that the equipment was sold with another truck, i sucked it up and said no big deal the truck was still a good deal. The issues started when i got on the road, on the way home the egr cooler line let go on the international and left us stranded, luckily there was a repair facility on that same exit. At the same time I noticed the freightliner had a belt tensioner issue so i had them replace it as well. At the time of repair the repair facility noticed the freightliner had no ac condenser and upon further inspection they noticed severe undercarriage damage. Things I never thought to check since I had trusted them considering they were a dealer and the truck was covered in snow when i got there. I called jeff and he said his service guy will take care of it when i got back home. So i got back home and my mechanic started to work on the truck and we noticed more and more undercarriage damage. I kept the service guy in the loop and he kept saying okay okay okay and then when i finally had the total he started to play the Ill call you back game, after almost a month he finally agreed to only pay $3500 of the $4400 in repairs i agreed to just hopefully get past it. Meanwhile my bank was working on the loan for the trucks since I had paid cash upfront, well both of these trucks had salvage title history but because In Minnesota it came as a clean title i never noticed because its only mentioned on a small blurb on the bill of sale, this is probably my fault as i should have read the entire document but ill take the blame for not reading as I didn't think I would get screwed as bad as i did because they were all friendly. Well 5 months later and the freightliner still isnt in service or done a single because im now having electrical issues with the truck. I have never left a bad review for any company ever but im super dissapointed because I paid nearly retail for that freightliner but i got a truck I wouldn't have paid nearly as much if i knew carco was sending trucks out there door requiring that much work. I also have pictures of everything ive stated for anyone that would like proof. Once again at this point im just going to eat my mistake and suck up the major loss but i figured i should let other people know to read and inspect the truck alot better than i did!

We had a tire blow on our snowmobile trailer and my husband is fully capable of changing it unfortunately we didn't have a lug wrench with in my vehicle. We had a spare tire for the trailer. We called and got a friendly guy on the phone and said to head to their shop, someone should be there and could help us. My husband got out and talked with a guy who was obviously irritated and didn't want to help and said he would get around to it... we waited 45 minutes for someone else to change it in under 5 minutes and charged us $40!!! Will not ever recommend this establishment to anyone!

Extremely arrogant and unprofessional group. We were a carrier bringing in equipment they purchased and we will never work with them again in any form. After a nightmare of issues getting their equipment loaded on our semi, we arrived at their facility only to be treated with disrespect and intentionally "forgotten" in their parking lot for over 2 hours. Jeff (head whoever) was the worst as far as how he treated the tow truck operators who helped load our truck. Unreal experience. Surprised they are in business.

I purchased a pickup from Carco about a year ago and I was very happy with the friendly knowledgeable staff and ownership. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Carco.

Took our camper that needed frame work straightened out. Tom quoted us $1500 and that he would get it in, in 2 weeks and it would take a few days to straighten it out. 4 weeks later, no camper. Call them to get an update, met with "I'll call you back with an update." Updates never came after repeated calls and instead, "It'll be done tomorrow." Tomorrow comes, camper still isn't done. 2 more weeks and now it'll take a few more days according to Jeff. I gave them a deadline, get it done and I'll be there to pick it up that evening. Pick it up, the bill is only $300 and next to nothing had been done on it! Frame still was jacked and needing to be majorly fixed!Thank you for wasting 6 weeks of my time, Carco. You guys are a complete joke. No customer service at all, no communication, and clearly, no actual service! It looks like a dump when you drive by and clearly they are.

They started to scrap our vehicle before the 30 days was up!!!! took tires and everything of value in the car so when we paid for the tow to get the car back it wasn't driveable, and they put a huge hole in the gas tank when putting it on a trailer!! Proceed to tell us that the car had been there for 90 days so it was our fault when it wasn't even there for 30 days, horrible company I hope nobody has to deal with them towing their vehicle!

I had been waiting for a tow on a fleet vehicle for several hours from a different tow company. They had sent three trucks, and somehow all three couldn't get there. When the fleet company called CarCo, they gave a time and they met it. I was out of the ditch very quickly when he arrived. Would use again.

Called hoping to get hours of operation and to leave a voicemail, clearly after hours, and as what I would describe as a disgruntled and utterly disrespectful man answers, to my dismay, with some words that frankly should not have been said. Needless to say, we don t need business like this negatively affecting the region. I d go elsewhere where quality, friendly service may be found. On top of that, if the manager, or whomever he may be, needs to answer calls at all times of the day/weekend, maybe he should use his COMMON SENSE and designate an actual work phone for the business and find a calming. Will be sure to put the word out to the disgracefulness of this company to local shops and businesses.

My husband and I went to look for a nice vechile to get us around for the winter as our current vechile is not reliable. We found a vechile that we thought would get us around perfect. Needless to say I don't reccomend his business to anyone. The vechile we purchased from carco has had nothing but problems and he does not care to help fix the vechile problems. We have contacted called left voicemails and nothing. It has been over a few months with a car that won't run. Very unprofessional owner. Do not go here. Worst service ever.

I negotiated a deal with Jeff @ Carco on a 2006 International and was happy with the price. He promised a Carfax vehicle history report would be sent that evening. The next morning, it still hadn't come.June Marie, his assistant, then called me and I mentioned (again) that I was promised a Carfax, which she said she'd attach to the email. Five minutes later, Jeff called and said (confessed) that the "100% Truck" he had described earlier DID have some front end damage which was not disclosed.OK, still not a deal breaker for me. Just give me the freakin Carfax.Five minutes later, I get an email, with the invoice for the purchase. (As an aside, the $3,200 service agreement Jeff had quoted me was now changed to $3,600).But, there was STILL no Carfax.I called June Marie back, asking (again) for the Carfax. Her response: "We do not have one and can't get one for you."Previously I'd hired an independent diesel mechanic to inspect the vehicle for me since I live out of state. I asked June if the diesel mechanic had showed up to inspect the vehicle yet. She put me on hold, then picked up a few minutes later saying, "I just got off the phone with Paul, and he's on his way over to inspect."After hanging up with June, I immediately called Paul, who said he hadn't received a call from June or ANYONE from Carco all day long.June's lie, along with a few from Jeff, are the reason I'm going to spend $60,000+ dollars elsewhere.I've NEVER written a Google review about anyone before, but this experience deserved a negative one.

We tried working with these guys and brought them a firetruck what was in an insurance claim. They went around us and cut a deal directly with the owners when they did the inspection. The broker on this was a mother of 3 who worked hard to negotiate the deal and put it together, now she gets absolutely nothing. These guys owe us $5,000 and we are having trouble getting them to do the right thing.

Run away from this place........My husband and I bought a truck from you. Now they say I m not a customer on here. More lies. How do these people sleep at night. Bad people that buy wrecked junk and sell it as new. Don't be fooled by the lies. Buyer beware. Lied about what they sold us. They will sell you a truck that has a salvage title and tell you it was never in a crash.

I just received delivery on my third Hooklift truck from Jeff and the unit looks great. The guys in the shop installed a deluxe tarping system and ran me through a demo at delivery. I would highly recommend Carco to my friends in business.

This company asked for our assistance to help deck a Medium Duty vehicle on to one of there own transport trucks. After we waited @ Copart , hooked the vehicle and placed in on the deck of their truck , their driver decided the truck was too long & too heavy to transport so he requested that we now Rehook up to the vehicle & place it back in the Copart yard. We againn did as Carco driver requested. As we were dropping the truck in the yard the driver leaves the scene without payment. Since then I have personally called Carco (Jeff) a dozen times and no one even had the courtesy to respond , let alone pay up , pretty sad to do to a fellow tower. I would advise anyone dealing with this company to get PAID UP FRONT!

My vehicle stalled on Hwy 10 Friday night. State trooper called Carco for we thought a tow. But when Tom Friedrich showed up he said he had 5such things happen and it could be just not getting gas due to the weather. He suggested I try to start driving and led the way to Rice. So grateful to know if it happened again to put on my flashers. Got to the Holiday station and was going to give him my AAA card and he said that s ok just forget it. They were really busy because of the frigid weather. He was concerned and I felt a lot safer. Thank you Tom
