I am a travel nurse and I got a contract in the area. Riverside automotive has been great. Prices are reasonable for the repairs I needed and when I needed to reschedule multiple times because work needed extra help they rescheduled without question. very friendly and great customer support. I will definitely go back if I need any other repairs while I m still in the area, or if my career brings me back!

I dropped my vehicle off on Thursday morning and had a few things I wanted checked. They did a full inspection and pointed out other things that were in need of repair. They gave me a full quote prior to beginning the repairs. They had my vehicle fixed and back to me by Friday afternoon. Amazing customer service!! They also have a 3 year warranty on all their work, which is hard to get at most repair places. I highly recommend using Riverside Automotive for your vehicle repairs and services!

Good place to work, but the absolute best place in the Red Wing area to get your car repaired, from an oil change to diagnostic testing or control module testing. The shop is clean and bright and the techs knowledgeable and Matt is one of the leaders in the industry.

In my experience, they were very friendly and communicative throughout the process of my car being repaired. Great place so friendly and thorough! I bought a car that needed no work done to it however it definitely did. Thank God I found riverside auto I ll definitely be back and I highly recommend!

I was crazy. My husband had just had surgery that got to be more than expected. I was out of town with him, needed a car that night. My battery was dead, the hood was frozen. They went to the house, found the keys, got it started and determined it needed a new battery. They had it all done after two trips to the house and all before 5 so I made our niece s event. Plus they were so pleasant! It was a fabulous experience!!!Service: Auto battery maintenance

Dropped off our jeep for a difficult to diagnose electrical issue. They did an amazing job tracking the issue, and not releasing the car until they were certain the intermittent issue was gone. Would absolutely recommend

We recently visited Riverside Automotive and purchased a remote car starter for our Mom for Christmas. They took care of everything, ordering, convenient scheduling, installation and instructions. They even happily gave her a ride downtown so she could drop her car off at the shop while she was at work :) I can't say enough great things about the experience. They were extremely helpful and patient and thorough with the job. It was important for us to do something locally so we could both support a local business and also have somewhere close by in case we had any questions or issues with the installation. Sarah was super helpful and friendly and very responsive with any questions we had. Our Mom is so happy to have a remote car starter again and any time we need work done on our vehicles I will look up Riverside Automotive first! Thank you so much for the great customer service!

When I brought my beloved Morris Minor into Riverside I was filled with dark trepidation because I thought the bill might be gi-normous just for the few simple, minor repairs my classic old British people-mover seemed to need. Thankfully, when Dave saw my Morris Minor he became a wide beam of shining optimism and positive energy about the project. His positivity was infectious. Soon we were collaborating on the Morris Minor, with Dave confessing that he deeply feels that the '53 Morris Minor is a DEAD SEXY car and, what's more, after the repairs were completed he asked if he might borrow the Morris Minor for a an afternoon of cruising around the lake with his family, who are also bastions of positivity about the Morris Minor.If you have a Morris Minor in need of repair, be sure to take it to Dave at Riverside.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

The manual side windows on a classic collector car would not move up or down so I got the name of this business from a friend who recommended them and they were fantastic. Short lead time for the appointment and very quick and efficient service when I got there. Very friendly and helpful!! Great place!!!

They were recommended to me by my local mechanic to install remote start on my 2014 Subaru Forester. Their customer service was excellent. They answered my questions and checked in before the service to confirm details. It took half as long as I expected, and cost 10% less than the quote. The tech who showed me how to operate the remote start with my keyfob was professional and knowledgeable, took time to answer all my questions. Overall, they made me wish I lived in the same town as their shop so I could take all my business there.

Drove from St. Paul to Red Wing to hike Barn Bluff, and stopped for lunch where our car wouldn't start. Called Riverside and Sara answered phone. Said she would drive to where we were and give us a quick jump, which she did and car started. Then she said there was no charge for her assisting us. She said after we made it to Barn Bluff and if the car wouldn't start again, to call back and she would come out again to help us. Sara you are the best! Not many places would help like you did. We got in our hike, the car started, and we made it home. What a great experience we had by calling Riverside. If we lived in Red Wing, you would be our auto repair place. Not many places would help like Sara and Riverside did. Our car dealer never even returned our call. So glad we called Riverside and received such fantastic customer service!!

Best shop in town. Been going here for years and they have yet to disappoint. Most recent visit was for an alignment, coolant flush and oil change. Had it done pretty quickly and they even fixed a few small annoyances for free like an exhaust rattle and aux port. Don t plan on switching mechanics anytime soon. Brought car here 6/2/22, over heating problems due to collision. Car was diagnosed and supposedly fixed the next day. Nearly spent 1k in repairs. fast forward to 7/9, car started to over heat again. brought it to shop on 7/11 for diagnostic and repair for the same recurring issue. Mark tells me that the tech working on my car pulled a muscle at home and will not be in, this was on 7/13. So, genuinely I understand stuff happens. I call the 14th to see if there's been any progress made, I'm told I need a bracket on the radiator because there wasn't one on it. Well, that should have been caught the first time I took it there with the problem originally. Also tells me that part is on delay, well if my car was looked at in a timely fashion when I brought it in on Monday, the part could have been ordered then. But it wasn't brought to my attention until it being in the shop for 4 days already. it's going on the 5th day and they still haven't completed the work. I've missed a week's worth of work and I'm not happy. Totally unprofessional. Definitely will not be back.

Fixed the issues I had with my man van. Shop was recommended by other shops in town. They explained the issues and fixed them. Super happy to get my cruise control back and to have my stability control working properly instead of every time I turn the corner.Would definitely recommend to others. I work on my own vehicles. But sometimes I like a professional's opinion to expedite troubleshooting. That's when i take my bmw to these guys. They're friendly, professional, and fair priced. Plus they are knowledgeable of German made cars. Couldn't ask for a better local auto mechanic.

Riverside has serviced several different vehicles for me, and I can highly recommend them for getting the job done right the first time, which saves me both time and money. They do a thorough overview of the vehicle so I always know if there is anything that will need to be taken care of in the future, and they take the time to give an explanation of the repairs. I trust them to tell me what is really needed and what can wait. If you want your vehicle to be in good running condition but don't want to worry about how honest the recommendations and costs really are, go to Riverside.

Service from all staff was excellent at Riverside from first contact with reception (didn t get her name) to Matt and Mark. What we thought might be a problem with the security system turned out to be a corroded key preventing the car to start. They were able to diagnose the problem and program two new keys. We were relieved to find it was not a more complicated and costly repair. Thank you.

They evaluated an older car for me to decide if I should fix it or get rid of it. They did an excellent evaluation! We are fairly new to the Red Wing area, and have not had a mechanic company. I am so glad that I have found Riverside Auto for my vehicle maintenance needs. They were professional, thorough and trustworthy. I had a concerning, but intermittent issue with my transmission that would auto erase the error code after I turned my vehicle off, these guys were able to interrupt the end of their day and spend time to diagnose the problem while the code was active. I am so appreciative of their time and willingness to help. In addition, I think they offer a higher level of service than you find in many other places. Thanks!!!
