1 star review for customer service from a woman answering the phones, I asked to speak to Dan (at Midway Auto on Main st) and she said he was busy whats the situation, after explaining my question and asking again if I could speak with him she got angry, said Jesus Christ, slammed the phone down and I could hear her calling for him in the background. Very unprofessional and upsetting... Who does that in a place of business? 5 stars for Dan and his father - every time I've dealt with them at the shop, they're great and friendly.

Midway allowed my vehicle to be vandalized. I brought my truck to Midway to get some repairs done. Well at Midway they broke the brakes on my truck , 4 months go by with out fixing the brakes all the while trying to communicate with them on fixing the brakes. Then last Monday I go to Midway to check up on my truck only to find out that they allowed my truck to get vandalized in their parking lot. I did not have to money to fix the damage, so I was forced to sell my truck. I will never use Midway Auto again. And I hope that one day they get their act together before another customer vehicle gets vandalized like mine did.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair

Had an emergency flat while 6 hours from home. Midway wasn t able to fix it, which wasn t their fault, but were still really easy to work with and extremely professional, trying to get us in even though they were busy and it was the end of the day. Definitely recommend if their full service is anything like the abbreviated version we got.

I called Midway when my car spun into the ditch after hitting an icy patch. Midway was there in 20 minutes with a quote that they delivered on. They strived to help quickly, and also to keep the price tag affordable and well below the competition. Very thankful. 10/10.

I had a severe tire failure on an exotic car while passing through town. Limped it over to Midway, and although they couldn't fix it on the spot, Dan helped me get back home to Minneapolis, kept the car safe and protected for the week, and installed new tires I had delivered to them. All for a very reasonable price. These guys are kind, fair, and good folks. I can't recommend Midway Auto enough. Thanks!Service: Tires

My roadside assistance company reached out to Midway Auto to provide a jumpstart on my vehicle. He was here in no time (less than 10 minutes) and immediately had my car up and running again.

I brought my truck here, with a bad lifter knock. They were knowledgeable, knew exactly what was wrong, and even with an added repair (my fuel pump lines were rotted, so it ended up needing a new fuel pump) they were real close to the original quote. If you're looking for a hometown shop that's honest, and does high quality repairs, and at a reasonable cost, this is your spot! They also do towing.

I've used their services one a couple different occasions. They have ALWAYS been reliable AND affordable. In a market where you have few options Midway is the best option. My check engine light came on this past weekend and Midway Auto was able to take my SUV immediately on Monday. They didn't charge me anything to look up the problem, which was super nice. It ended up only being an oxygen sensor. Anyways, my work schedule is pretty strange, but they were willing to work around it and only called me in the afternoons for updates when I was available. Also, I was able to arrange rides to work through Friday and asked them if they could get it done before then, and they actually got it done beforehand on Thursday! I asked them to look into fixing my driver's side visor too, and everything was such a quick fix, that he only charged me for parts, not labor, to do the visor. I was so thankful that Dan saved me some money. They also complimented my car decals and we had a good laugh about them when I picked up my car. I was very impressed and would highly recommend Midway Auto to anyone looking for reasonably priced auto repairs and friendly service.

I sold this car. A genius showed up woth a trailer and no winch. Midway auto put the car on their flatbed, and backed it on dudes trailer. Thanks Midway Auto!

Called them around 8:30am and was told I could get my car back by noon "same day" ! They did a wonderful brake service replacing my rotors & pads! Can t be happier!! Met Dan and his father, great family business that services vehicles, sells them & rents them all around shop! They get my FIVE STAR RATING!

The owner towed my car when it died on 316 about 10 miles from home. He was very nice and even tried to look and see why it wouldn't start. I was disappointed when I called to inquire about cars for sale but just based on the tow, great experience and way less expensive than Siewerts. I got quoted over twice the amount at Siewerts than Midway.

Well priced. Fast service. Trustworthy. This might be my only experience in the Automobile Service and Sales that I wasn't gritting my teeth in frustration over the surprise pricing or inability to diagnose the problem and charge you for every diagnostic test.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Love this places' small town feel. Skilled mechanics who won't rip you off! You become like family. If you need a tow these guys are the first ones you should call. They have reasonable rates. I keep their number on speed dial.

Mike is a nice guy, but I purchased a vehicle and we agreed on an extra $500 to do basic maintenance to get it running as I was supposedly a running a vehicle. First when accelerating it would die, it a month to correct after going up several time being told it was fine. They finally got it fixed I think, they never told me what it was. They were suppose to change the alternator and a give me a new battery, instead I got an old battery and had to buy the alternator separately which I still have and the battery died within days of bringing it home. I dont want to keep jumping it and killing the starter. While in their care transmission fluid leaked while they left it unattended. Still have no idea what happened except they left it running for hours and it was smoking when I showed up and they never said what happened. So far dont know if any damage is done to the tyranny and why it all leaked out. I have yet to get a proper inventory of all the work they completed. My purchase and work need was not treated with any level of professionalism as required by law. I am not suing which I should have, but I will not bring the vehicle back nor will I recommend purchasing a vehicle from there. I am a little irked and was so mad I shut down when I realized not only was I treated indifferently, bit they failed to access give me an accounting of work to be performed and possibly ruined the tyranny and failed to perform work I was guaranteed. I had to just walk away.Be careful

Had early appointment at 9am and came as 1st and only customer when Aire opened. But he told me he is busy and I should make another appointment. Then told me to move car out from their customer parking spot. Amir was rude. It is completely waste of my time. I'd gave no star if allowed.

Parked where I shouldn't have on Friday/13th, got towed, the owner was one of the nicest people I have ever met in Red Wing. Very friendly and really helped my wife and I.
