If you re are looking for someone that stands by their work you ve gone to the right place here. I had them rebuild a transmission for me and it worked great! Unfortunately a part failed in the transmission and I was nervous because I ve never used them before and a lot of places will say they stand by their work and don t. They absolutely stood by their word and deserve 100 stars! I will never go anywhere else, you ve earned a life long customer!!!!! I just wish more places are like you guys!

Randy and his staff are highly skilled and professional. Randy took me on a road test with diagnostics reading what exactly was wrong with my transmission. He then explained the procedure to best correct the issue. He was able to complete the rebuild in 1 week and when I picked up my truck he showed me all the old parts and explained the repair. These guys are transparent in what process is taken to correct an issue. They don't take shortcuts or try to sell unnecessary work. My truck runs great and I can now use it for my recreational activities again. Affordable Transmission has earned a new customer for life.

My transmission went out in my work van during a very busy time of year. I was referred to Randy from a friend of mine. Randy was fantastic. Helping getting my van towed from the Twin Cities to his shop and getting to my repairs almost immediately. He took the time to explain to me and show me all the parts he replaced. He was fantastic, and I wouldn t hesitate to refer him to anyone I know. I just wish he wasn t so far from where I live to have him work on both my vehicles with any issues. Thank you, Randy.

The guys at Affordable Transmission are just down right great. There's no other way to say it. Randy runs a smooth operation and will bend over backwards to help any customers that choose his shop for auto repairs. Very, very knowledgeable and will give it to you straight, no beating around the bush. Would give 6 stars if possible.

We had our Dodge Durango looked at for handling issues, needed control arn and ball joint and an Alignment.The work was done quickly and at an affordable cost.Very Happy with Affordable transmission.

I have been going to them for years ! I trust them whole heartily with my vehicles, always tries to explain my car issues and honestly doesn t feel like they overcharge , like how other mechanics I went to in the past have done . Will forever be grateful how they always are available to help when I m having car issues ! :)

I was traveling through Princeton in route from Wisconsin to Seattle in my camper-van. I was referred to Affordable Transmissions due to what I thought was a transmission problem. However, after a test drive they concluded it was a bad spark plug. Better yet that had time that same morning to replace it and I was back on the road. GREAT FRIENDLY SERVCE !

I took my car to the nearest place when my transmission was going out, which was a car dealer. They diagnosed it wrong and my repair would have been astronomical. Had my car towed somewhere else, they diagnosed it but could not fix it... Affordable Transmiission came to the rescue and saved me money. Great customer service too. Thank you!

My family has been bringing our vehicles here for a few years. We have always had great service. Techs are knowledgeable and will thoroughly explain the repairs. We have used them for routine oil changes as well. Very Reasonable pricing. Great service team!

Transmission went out on my work van which is how we make a living. The van is our life line. They got it in right away, gave us our options, and got it done right away so we could get back to making a living. They did fantastic! I had a transmission service (fluid and filter) performed on my Toyota RAV4. Randy was nice to email me about options and prices for the shuddering that other places had diagnosed as a torque converter clutch problem. He said there was a chance this lower cost service would work and so far it has. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the price and time to do it were less than they predicted, the waiting room and bathroom were clean. I was satisfied.Service: Transmission

Randy was awesome. His pricing was very fair. My vehicle just needed a torque converter. He didn't push me to replace the whole transmission when it was not needed. He was also able to get me in immediately and had the repair completed the next day.

They were very very quick at getting my car to their facility, diagnosing the problem and getting me back on the road. I was very satisfied with all aspects of this service. The shop was very professional and, considering what they do, extremely clean. They took excellent care of my vintage car, rolling it in each night rather than leaving it outside in the lot. The guy was super nice and they did a great job with my car. They were super fast and great with communication. He even gave me some tips on how to change my transmission fluid. The price was affordable and understandable and even went into detail on why that was the price for my repair. I can't recommend them enough. They rebuilt my transmission and replaced my condenser for the air conditioner. Runs beautiful. They also found and repaired a shorted out injector that someone else had messed up when they put in a remote starter. Great people that do a fantastic job. They are extremely busy do to that fact, so scheduling your service is recommended, however they will try to squeeze you in if it is an emergency.

I have been going to Affordable Transmission for over 15 years. Randy Merrell is not only super knowledgeable, but he is great to work with and gets his work done when he says he will. A recent service done on my son's 2005 Nissan Altima had us back on the road in under $400 when another shop was both unable to properly diagnose/complete the repair and recommended a full transmission replacement when the issue was a Cam Positioning Sensor causing the vehicle to cycle into "limp home mode" and made the transmission shifting very rough. Randy has done many repairs for me over the years. Prior to this, a full rebuild of an Explorer transmission that functions perfectly to this day.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I have taken two of my vehicles to this shop for repairs. I had a 2003 Ford Explorer and a Ford Edge and the work was great prices were the best I could find and service was very helpful. Whenever I need repairs I forego the dealership and bring my car here. The work is great and guaranteed.

After calling a few places and being drug around by random quotes and timeframes I called these guys and Randy? I think, was straight to the point, explained the whole process, gave me an exactly quote, time frame and had free towing pick up my vehicle. I was 100% shocked at the professionalism and timeliness and had no problem paying the price which was very in the middle of the road with others and rebuilding a transmission.
