I have been bringing my vehicles to Terry's Repair for 15 years now. They always take great care of me and do good quality work. In addition, they have a knowledge and skilled team of technicians and their service manager, Judd, does a geeat job of explaining what repairs are needed and why.

We were driving down to Iowa from the Twin Cities with a small child and a dog. We stopped at the Medford McDonald's to use the restroom and noticed our rear driver's side wheel well smoking. We called a tow truck who listened to our symptoms and sent us to a garage in Medford. They only specialized in replacing tires and couldn't help us but he also listened to our symptoms and thought it sounded like a brake caliper. He recommended Terry's Repair in Owatonna. We called at 1420 and he listened to us and said they normally close at 3 on Friday, but they'd be able to get it done because they had the parts in town. We promptly drove over there and they got us in the garage and had the repair done in under an hour. From the start of our little catastrophe to the resolution, it only took an hour and 45 minutes. It was a Friday too which was nothing short of miraculous. We all used their lovely and clean bathroom and a gal from the office offered us something to drink while we waited. Thank you for being so prompt, kind, efficient and saving not only our car, but also our weekend with Grandma!

UPDATE: The air pump they installed was not even installed correctly. The cracked hose that caused the original one to fail was not fixed or reattached. I have included pictures as proof whomever did the work was lazy. See the arrows pointing to the clamp and crack.Giving them 1 star only because they were friendly and attentive. But that has little to do with fixing cars, but does hold some weight from a business prospective. Took them two weeks to fix my mercedes when it should have been one week. Between a misdiagnosis, ordering the wrong parts, not being able to get parts and forcing me to order them because they couldn't, doesn't sit well with me. First off mercedes has the part number printed or stamped on every single part on the car, so ordering the wrong parts should never happen. Second, making a customer order parts for a fix because they cannot get them should also never happen. I can forgive a mistake because we all make them, but when they start to pile up something is wrong....

Legendary is the only way to describe these good folks.If you care about your vehicle, let them take care of it.My father started going to these guys in the early 90's, and we continue to this day.

Terrys is constantly the place I bring my vehicle to. Fair honest upfront and are usually willing to fit you in asap if needed. I have been going for almost 20 years.

Fast friendly service! Our alternator burned out, we called Terry's and our car was fixed within the afternoon. So grateful, THANK YOU TERRY'S

Needed two tires repaired (slow leaks). Got both done quickly, charged $60 total after tax. Happy with the service.

On a road trip one of our cars broke down late one night, and we left it behind at a rest stop near Terry's. Next day after a phone call with Terry's they agreed to tow the car and if we mailed the keys overnight they would fix it. We passed through town again a few days later and it was fixed at a great rate and the car runs great. Very impressed! I am glad if the car was going to die it died when and where it did.

I called them when they 1st opened in the morning and they were luckily able to fit me in right away. It took them less than an hour to diagnose, get the part, fix my car and get me back on the road. Their customer service is amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Their prices were extremely reasonable too. I highly recommend them.

My family and I were passing through town on a 12 hour trip from Oklahoma. My husband noticed a strange sound when we stopped for lunch. We went to Terry s and Bret took excellent care of us! They got us in even though it was their lunch break. The solution was simple but it would ve been easy for someone to take advantage of the situation just to add to our bill. Terry s was quick, kind, and honest. Can t recommend them enough!

After getting introduced to this auto repair center, we continue to drive over 70 miles each way to get their outstanding professional customer care of our foreign and domestic vehicles. From tires to transmissions, there is no job too small or too big for these friendly family-owned repair shop employees to resolve and at a fair price. If you have time to plan ahead for an appointment, then you will likely never be surprised when your car repair is done. Regardless of whether or not you can plan ahead, they even have loaner vehicles available on a first come first served basis.

Friendliness of staff, curb appeal, and several different vehicles in their lot were all positives. However, hard to rate more than a star, since they didn't even do the diagnosis, they promised to have done by early next morning. Impression given was that our issue was not important. We were traveling from out of state and needed car this weekend to return home. As they didn't seem to be able to take care of us, we said we would find someone else help us. The gentleman at the front desk, told us good luck, everyone is busy.

Told the clown behind the front counter what was wrong after diagnosing and trouble shooting the problem myself. Repairs were made that DID NOT fix the original problem. Had to go back and get charged 2X for replacement of charcoal canister. Bret and mechanics OK. Service writer is a joke.Service: Auto exhaust system repairService: Auto exhaust system repair

I have had 2 different vehicles worked on at Terrys and both times I received excellent customer service and reasonable pricing. I live in Waseca and would rather drive the 14 miles to Owatonna because I know they are honest and trust worthy. I am now a customer for life. Thank you Terry's!

I got stranded on Hwy 14, and had to have my car towed. Had it towed to Terry's based on a recommendation- and I was very pleased with the work done, the price, and the customer service! I would refer anyone to Terrys!

Terry's installed a low mileage engine my car when I hit 240k and started burning to much oil. I was completely satisfied with their service and price, I will be coming back for my auto service needs
