Only place in town so far that actually figures out what's wrong with my car and fixes it the first time. Haven't bothered trying anywhere else since I found this place. I appreciate that if needed the mechanics will come up front and explain to me exactly what is going on, how to fix it and my choices to do so. They'll get in your car with, or without you, and drive around all over, for a while (about 20 min for me when I took GP in) until they can experience what you experience, and figure out why it's happening. Nice, honest, fun loving people who are passionate about their work and actually show they care about customer retention.

Everytime I come here more goes wrong with my car recently I got my oil changed here and they gave me a list of everything wrong with it... I went to a different mechanic place had them do a diagnostic and look the car over 4 of the things the auto clinic said we're wrong we're not... Do not go here they will rip u off!!!!

Going from Illinois to Minneapolis and had brake issues. Stopped in Owatonna for the night and hoped we could get in somewhere. They were great at taking a look and getting what we needed and squeezing us in so that we could back on the road. So friendly and personable. If we were locals we would make this our regular specialists.

Traveling out of town from illinois and had brake assist light come on. Found this place online and they were able to help same day no questions asked. Very understanding and hospitable to people from out of town, they treat you like family and are super willing to help. Would recommend for any auto issue!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I had an appointment yesterday for an oil change and I also asked about my whipper s fluid that wasn t working. They did everything really fast and well. Also the people at the front desk are very friendly.

My truck had several issues that needed attention. They got me in the next morning and was able to address these issues, very swiftly in my opinion. They also gave me a courtesy call basically because the cost was climbing and they wanted to keep me informed and asked if they should they proceed. They're professional and do a great job. My rating of a 4 vs 5 is only because the cost of everything is out of control. I don't think I've given a 5 rating since 2020. So in fairness, I would've/ should've given them a 5

The owner is really nice end they do really good work. We've been going here for quite a few years and their rates are reasonable. They can usually get you in in a pinch.

I called them Friday morning and asked if I could have my car towed in for repair and they said yes. They called me back at 11am telling me that my alternator had gone bad. They replaced the alternator, belt, and did an oil change and was all done by 4pm. Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them and would trust them for any repair or service your vehicle needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They went out of their way to fit me in for service and did outstanding analysis to drive my car around town while hooked up to the computer to truly diagnose my problem. They even allowed me to drop off the car and give me a ride home and pick me up after the analysis was completed.

This is now my go to auto repair shop in Owatonna. I had broken front left brake line on a 16 year old Ford Escape. They recommended to replace both sides if I planned to keep it he vehicle. Found an exhaust leak and also noticed I was way overdue for an oil change. All repaired and out the door in a couple hours at a very fair price. Thank you Owatonna Auto Clinic!

Love this place. The work they did on my vehicle was awesome. They are a honest place that will be up front with the problem of your vehicle and will fix only what you need done. Thanks for the great work you have done for me.

Been taking my vehicles there since I moved to Minnesota. They call you when they find your car issue and inform you of the cost of repair. Great customer service! Fix vehicles in a timely manner. By far best experience overall

Kevin, Ashley and their crew were the absolute easiest people to work with! They were timely, educated, reasonable and fair! They kept us in the loop and educated us on our choices! Hands down the best repair shop I ve ever been to! Went in for a transmission leak and they got my car done within 3 hours of looking at it, and did outstanding work on it. For a 16 yr old car, it shifts smoother than it ever has, thanks to this shop and whomever worked on it!!! They re the most polite mechanics I ve ever met.

I wrote the below review a few years ago. I ve been coming here for years and it s still A+! The customer service is amazing, they go out of their way with service! Affordable, reliable, and honest still stand. Kevin, Ashley, Jeremy and team really run an amazing shop. You won t find better service anywhere! Thank you!Honest, reliable, and affordable. I will never go anywhere else. Ashley and Kevin are great.....I've trusted them for the past few years and I will continue to. Great work and people!!!

I am giving them two stars because the woman who was the receptionist at this place was wonderful. As far as mechanics I am disappointed with the experience I had. I was hoping since moving here and word of mouth that I would have a good experience. I brought my van into this shop for an oil leak on Aug 3rd. They told me it was an oil leak and transmission leak that I paid the repairs for on Aug 4th. Four days later, my power steering goes out. They told me all my fluids were fine, everything was fine and even charged me $15 for checking all fluid levels. When I checked my power steering fluid level first I could tell it was never checked due to unmoved debris on/around cap, it was empty, my coolant was also almost empty. Even after filling the power steering fluid level myself it was too late, my pump had been damaged. Since then I have brought it to a mechanic that said yes, I had obvious leaks in more than one section of hose. I feel like if the people here had taken their time, looked, and cared alittle more and actually checked all my fluid levels I wouldn't have the exuberant cost of having to replace the pump and reservoir with the labor that comes with it now. Is it possible the powering steering fluid leak happened within 4 days of them returning my van enough to drain all of the fluid in the system, yeah maybe but I am very hesitant to believe that.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Absolutely fantastic emergency service on my Ranger near the end of my 650 mile road trip. I coasted into their shop under no power. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a dead battery and failed alternator. They serviced my vehicle in spite of my not having an appointment. The service was quick, accurate, and professional. I highly recommend Owatonna Auto Clinic for your car care needs. I trust these folks.

Kevin has been working on my vehicles for several years now and I am always satisfied with the work that they do. I trust Kevin and his mechanics to take care of my vehicles and I always get good rates. Kevin is a very honest mechanic, which is hard to find. Even though I am a woman, I don't get treated or taken advantage of "like a dumb woman", like some places do. I highly recommend Kevin and his team at Owatonna Auto Clinic for all of your mechanical needs.

Outstanding and quick diagnosis and service for our Subaru Forester which experienced culture shock by coming up North from sunny Florida during the coldest weather of the year. Friendly staff and excellent work. They made the issue a pleasant experience during a tough week because of my brother s passing.

While on a trip to Lake of the Ozarks my truck just died while pulling a toy hauler with Motorcycles. I called a tow and asked the tow co. where to take it. These guys answered the phone and said "bring it in".Kevin came out and made some quick, common sense tests to quickly determine it was the fuel pump. He had 20 min. of work to clear a stall.They explained the cost difference between the whole filter/pump assembly, parts and labor cost and got the pump delivered.We were on our way in just over two hours and the truck has run flawlessly since.I have to admit, I thought in this situation most repair places would price gouge. Not Owatonna Auto Clinic. The service was awesome and the work was done right and got us back on the road.5 stars for sure!

Maybe I've become a bit pessimistic these days, that there are still people in buisness that you can trust. I've had horrible experiences with other shops and dealerships in town. Either with a lack of knowledge or trying to sell me something that I don't need. When I saw OAC was the local shop with the highest customer reviews, it piqued my interest. Based on the professional and polite straight talk exchanged over the phone, I decided to give these folks a chance. Couldn't be happier with that decision. Very knowledgeable, so they'll offer you multiple solutions for your problem in case you can't afford make that major repair just yet. They shuttled me or my vehicle to me when needed. I trust them whole heartedly. I've had multiple vehicles repaired with OAC and each time I was surprised with their performance. Our relationship started professional, but how they've helped me, I consider them friends. Owatonna is fortunate to have these folks. Just spreading the word.
