I was having problems sorting out a lo beam headlight issue. I am used to my older vehicles having just one hi/lo beam bulb. Two guys working 4/2, 8:30 pm, pointed out the fact that I had two bulbs. Humbling, but they got me sorted out, light working, and on my way. Greatly appreciated! Give these guys a big thank you!Abe

The big sign on the window says FREE WIPER INSTALLATION with purchase. It should get taken down if your staff doesn't know how to do it and also if certain weather conditions like a little cold/snow they can't do the job in that kind of weather it should be noted as well so I don't waste my time going there.

I do not recommend this place as a truck driver. I ran out of fuel at the Quiktrip on exit 44 and they refuse to deliver me a can of starter fluid.

Joseph was awesome. After getting sold bad parts at another parts store, he helped us out, and proved what he was selling us was good before we walked out the door. He was polite, good customer service, and my truck is fixed. Will return.

My idler pulley failed and the serpentine belt broke and I ended up fixing it in the parking lot there. They had the parts and let me borrow a few tools. Excellent service very polite and helpful 5star service. Thanks again too the people at o Reilly in owato�na mn.

As far as getting auto parts this store is the same as any other auto parts store. Done of the employees seem to actually know something about cars which is somewhat rare in the auto parts business these days. They're also really good about warranty returns. I had an alternator they sold me go bad, they have me a new one and it was dead on arrival. I was worried they were going to try and claim I was putting them in wrong but they just have me a third one and told me if that one didn't work they would refund the original purchase. Luckily the third time was the charm.

I bought rain x wipers and they broke in 1 month. No warranty. So replaced the broken wiper with another rain x. After he installed it, he told me that he wouldn't recommend the rain x, and advised another brand that offers a 1 year warranty. Wish he would have done that right away. I prefer this place over all others in town. Friendly knowledgeable service.

Not a bad place. Ya AutoZone may be cheaper on some things but I've been able to get lower prices on things by mentioning that it's a dollar less across the street and sometimes they actually have the part I need on hand or can get it the same day were no one else has it or can't get it for a day or 2 if at all.

Was given the wrong part in New ulm MN. But was able to get the right one/exchanged in Owatonna MN. with absolutely no hassle. (Next time I'll pay the extra dollar or two and get the better/premium part cuz that's the one that fit)

They helped me out for over an hour just to find out it was only a push button I didn't know I had. Apparently not a problem, I had. But it was the willingness and the tenacity that was great

Never again will we deal with O Reilly. They ve always been out go to for all of our cars for many years at the Owatonna, MN store. Employee Earl clearly wants to be anywhere but at work. Our experience today with his rude attitude and disrespect of customers will have us shopping across the street at Autozone or online. When asked simply why a part didn t have a part number on it we were told WE DON T HAVE TO PUT NUMBERS ON IT. YOU WANT IT OR WHAT When asked what his name was ( we didn t see his name tag at first) it was WHAT S YOUR NAME. WHY IT MATTERS WHAT MY NAME IS ANYWAY? Here s the deal, Earl. It matters, because your job is customer service. We are the customers. We are there to spend money. Customers who spend money helps put your paycheck in your pocket. While customers ask questions or deliberate their purchases, it would be respectful to not continually sigh like we are boring you and then whistle at us luke you have better things to be doing.Props to the Autozone across the street for great customer service, employees who take pride in their jobs and hey! They even beat O Reilly on price.I ve been in customer service over 20 years and frankly, I d love to a customer service seminar for your employees. They need it.

The older gentleman seemed annoyed that he had to get up and help a customer. When he couldn't find the right part, he gave up and told me that I "should probably just take my money somewhere else". So I went to Napa where they didnt have any problem looking up my part.

So I called this morning(Sunday hours). I called at 8:59( open at 9am) Earl Answer s and says :call back at 9. I said it s 9 right now(which at the time it was) he then replied k what do you want? I said well if you aren t ready to answer the phone then don t answer. He then hung up. I called back and he was beyond rude. With this being said Earl needs to go back to his moms basement and not be employed because he clearly can t handle a part time job. I definitely will not go back to oreillys in Owatonna. Hello to advance auto parts for now on.

Half the time I go in there's 2 older guys and both dont know what there doing. Plus one of then had a full argument with a customer as I was trying to check out.

Wanted filters for diesel sold ones for gas vehicles didn't seem like they knew what they were selling. Had to drive 15 miles back to replace
