My new tires are high-quality, installation was professional and efficient. Appointment finished ahead of estimated time and waiting area was clean, comfortable and with coffee, TV and magazines!

I give them 3 stars. I ve taken numerous cars there over the years. Friendly staff, clean waiting area, average job done. They keep getting more expensive not commensurate with inflation and the upsell gets annoying.

Over the years, Youngstedts in Maple Grove has provided consistent, reliable and affordable service for my cars. Rick, the manager, is always personable and explains in detail the potential problems and solutions to my vehicle's problems.

When they put on my winter tires they did not check the locking lug nut which was very loose. Only reason I am not giving 0 stars is because of Rick. Very dangerous situation and no fault of his own but Rick was very apologetic and owned up to the mistake. I keep going back because of the excellent customer service Rick provides. If Rick is not there I most likely will take my business elsewhere.

Very impressed! I called last minute on a Friday evening to get a tire replaced and they were able to help me and back on the road by Saturday afternoon. Wonderful customer service and great communication.

While on vacation my front tires started showing thread under the rubber. I went in knowing it was an allignment issue. I got all four tires replaced and a four wheel alignment for just under $600. That's a reasonable price.I do all my own mechanical work, but tires require special equipment. I'm always afraid of ending up with a dishonest salesman like auto shop. In my experience, Youngstedts is not one. Thanks for a good experience!

Youngstedts gives me a reliable product whether it s a repair or just an oil change that I m waiting for; I can usually get a straight story out of them to make a decision about the upkeep of my car, van, or subcompact.

We love Youngstedts! They are always willing to get us in right away, not only for the basics, but also to diagnose a issue if there is one. The always get back in a timely manner, with what was found and make the proper repairs. Love their services and staff!

I've been taking my vehicles to Youngstedts for years. Great service and like their recommendations of others issues my vehicles may need. Has also been my go to Tire dealer with good prices an always let me know of rebates available.

Recently had our car stolen. Once it was found, Youngstedt's took care of everything. They emptied all contents, did a full inspection and diagnostic, coordinated having it transferred next door to the wash/detailing center and were excellent to work with the entire time. They have a new customer for life.

Mark at Youngstedts Maple Grove is awesome! Today he helped me in a very difficult situation. He was quick to step in and solve our problem. He went above and beyond. He was kind, calm and explained what needed to happen. I would recommend Mark for any future services. The quality of service he gave was outstanding!

Brought my vehicle in just after Xmas due to my rear lights not working at times. I usually service at the dealership and just did not have it in me to drive any distance. Read the reviews which were excellent so reached out.Staff were able to diagnosis the issue and fix it to my satisfaction.All were professional, friendly, honest and fair. Would definitely use again.

Been going there since opened. Rick and crew are very good and courteous have used for electrical, engine work, oil changes and tires. Our kids actually take their cars there also. Always get the job done when promised a time. The unfortunate thing is we are moving to AZ so I can only hope we can find a place as attentive as Youngstedts Maple Grove is.

Nice guys, but will overcharge you for everything! Got my brakes done there. Charged me over $1500 could have had them done for almost half less! Otherwise, service was good.

Pretty good service and very good follow-up on a poor experience.... My wife once waited two hours for an oil change and tire rotation which is crazy long for that service. I did write them on their own website and the manager personally called me and apologized and offered a very reasonable compensation. I was impressed that they do care enough to respond quickly and personally to my complaint. I would recommend them to others because of this.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Youngstedts Maple Grove location. The service was performed in a timely manner and done professionally. Upon inspection it was noticed that a tire valve was leaking and they fixed it with no charge. Very pleased with the service that I received.

I ve moved around the Twin Cities, but will only bring my car to a Youngstedt s. The Maple Grove crew is phenomenal. I always trust them to provide quality, honest care.They don t speak patronizingly (as a woman, that s especially important) and always explain what s going on in easy-to-understand language. Another thing I appreciate they speak candidly. If there s a service that can be skipped, based on your circumstances, they honestly explain the pros and cons of the decision. They don t try to trick you out of your money.

The staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable! I usually come in for just an oil change (they always have coupons for this service and a great punch-card option), but anytime I have been in need of another repair, this is my go-to spot. They are very familiar with myself and my mom and are never pushy salesmen like a lot of other places (my dad is really good with cars so they never pressure us to have something fixed w/o checking to see if my dad can take care of it first). I would drive out of my way to this location because they are that wonderful!

Very friendly and courteous. I stopped in with no appointment after having sudden tire issues while driving on 94, and they were very friendly and helpful. Despite being busy and not having an appointment, they pulled my car around back and quickly checked my tires and tightened all the lug nuts to ensure I get home safely in Minneapolis. Free of charge at that! As a young female at a car shop, I felt very respected and not for a second taken advantage of, which isn't always the case. Thank you to those who work here and helped me get home safely!

Called and asked if there were any openings for a oil change and was scheduled a 12:30 appointment. I was also going to have a tire rotation and maybe an alignment done. They asked if I would wait as it may take a few hours, so I got picked up and returned three hours later and it had yet to even be started, but they had wrote down done by 5:00. So since I got picked up and wasn t waiting I was out to the back of the line. Who makes a doctors appointment to wait for three hours to finally make it to the front of the call list?

Great service. Easy to schedule. Staff always provides a full report of any vehicle concerns I should be keeping an eye on such as brake life, ball joints that may be starting to wear out... They do not pressure clients to complete additional service items, but they will keep clients appraised of potential vehicle maintenance items so you can plan and budget for needed repairs.

Competent technicians good work but pricec are a bit strong as compared a couple places in the area. The worst part was finding candy wrappers on my driver's floor and small smears of chocolate on the driver's seat. Used to be when you get anboil change, the shops would clean your windows and vacuum the car. Now. The only extra thing they do at Youngsteads is try to sell you something in addition. This time it was a "very small" oil leak they found. To locate to cause was quoted at $196.00. Not fix it, just locate it. Youngstead's is pricing itself out of the market.

Just recently had a whole clutch job done with these guys and they really knocked out of the park. Dropped it off on a Saturday with the idea of it possibly not being able to be looked at until Wednesday, got a call from them by 10am on a Monday and got told they were already getting started on it. Then by 5pm that same day they told me the job was done, clutch assembly, fly wheel and a transmission fluid drain&refill.They really just got it done really fast and everything's been great, it's been over a week now and the car drives better than it ever has

I had an incredible experience with the service at this shop. I had recently purchased my grandfather s 2001 Chevrolet Silverado from him just 2 days prior to my arrival at your shop. I had not had the opportunity to even really look over the vehicle before the brakes failed me just seconds before I was about to get on 94. I asked Siri for the closest shop and it gave me this shops number. I called, slightly worked up still from the experience of brakes failing, and spoke with Jim. Jim was incredibly professional each and every time I spoke with him and he is a truly talented individual. He was not only willing to hear what I had to say and entertain my speculations, but his salesmanship without sounding like a pushy sales person was incredible and I highly respect that. Upon arriving with the vehicle, he was quick to get the first available mechanic assigned to the truck. I was pleased to have an analysis and quote in my hand only 30-45 minutes later. It was detailed and clearly demonstrated an interest in resolving the issue that I had experienced while also foresight for my safety, and by extension, my family s safety!Fast forward from Friday to Saturday. I called to check on the status of the vehicle (which is annoying from my own personal experience so I tried my hardest not to!) and Jim was, again, extremely polite and professional. He assured me that they had not forgot nor quit working on the vehicle. I started getting a little restless as the clock ticked closer to 5pm, Saturday s closing time. About 4:45, I received a phone call from Jim letting me know there was a difficulty with a tool (which the team went above and beyond to rectify) and that he and the mechanic would be staying late in order to complete the remainder of the job (fuel line repair) before closing the doors for the weekend. This action tells me that the team genuinely cares not only about the dollar, but about the satisfaction of the customer, and also their safety! When I arrived to pick up the truck, Jim and the mechanic, Matt, were very polite and professional, explaining to me what had transpired causing the slight delay in completion. They also did not come off as irritated by staying late!I was absolutely amazed by the level of courteousness and professionalism demonstrated by the team in Maple Grove. I will, gladly, share this story with anyone I find who is in need of any of the services they offer as well as return with my own vehicles.

I cannot recommend Youngesteds to anyone in good faith any longer. It seems that as they've grown their focus on customer service has plummeted. I brought my car in for an unknown issue which turned out to be a simple battery swap. I had no problem with the $40 assessment fee.I did have an issue when they wanted to charge $300+ dollars, on top of that, to install it. Yes, 300 dollars for a new battery.The real issue came when they refused to let me push my car out, or offer to somehow, even at a charge, remove it from the garage so I could install a 90 dollar battery myself. I was essentially strong armed into paying 220 dollars for a battery test and install. They didn't even have the courtesy to fill my tire which was low on pressure.I have been going to Youngesteds for years, if you check my review history I have commented on the higher prices, but still opted for 5 star reviews due to good customer service and quality of work.After this experience, I would not recommend this auto shop and will not be using it down the road in any capacity.
