Customer service was good, but the prices were ridiculous. I have never paid over a hundred dollars for any oil change! My car does use synthetic oil, but the last shop I took my car to was under a hundred, and I got my tires rotated! I only changed my oil, and they scraped some erosion off my battery.

They do have theFantastic services but the prices are kinda of expensiveAnd then what is happening to my review that kinda sucks. But anyway I was just realized my truck got leaking oil on the bottom of the floor and then today we are going back to the Northfield to checkout the leaks and then they're told us it's was not thing if you are going to found out more and then you are going to stop by tomorrow morning..that's kinda of horrible service..

I needed an oil change, and this place was on the way home. I worked at a quick lube shop before. This excess oil on the filter is just laziness. Take the time to clean up the undercarriage after the new filter is on. Overall, it was a decent service. No oil pressure issues or oil leaks.

These guys are the best! The store manager William found a mouse nest in my dash when checking my cabin filter and pulled the whole thing out!These guys go the extra mile and more.

Pretty run of the mill quick change. Staff is generally friendly and knowledgeable. I've had staff recommend other services, but none of them have pushed it on me, they made it very clear that the services are something to consider and are transparent with costs up front. I'll continue visiting Valvoline instant in Northfield for my vehicle maintenance needs.

I ve gone to the Valvoline instant changes on and off over the years. I trust them more that Jiffy and others like that, as they seem to know a bit more about how an actually car works. But the last few times they haven t had the oil I need in stock. It s only a minor inconvenience as I just go and buy my own oil and they put it in. But this last time this happened, they started the process before realizing they still didn t have the correct oil. So I planned to go buy my own oil and return the next day. But for some reason the engine smelled especially stinky afterwards. It turned out they had left the oil cap off and oil had spilled out on the engine, etc. They were very nice and apologetic when they cleaned it up, but otherwise they didn t do anything to make up for this big mistake. In fact since I purchased my own oil, I can t even utilize the coupon they gave me last time.Service: Oil change

As a full time Uber driver I get my oil changed once a month. I m a good customer. They get me 12 times a year.Couple months ago they changed a low beam bulb that had burned out. Two months later that one burned out.The guy handled it with his bare fingers which apparently is a no no.But when I pulled in there today they said that they wouldn t replace it because I must have a wiring issue.WRONG!They lost my business forever ( 125/monthly) over a $23.00 part.They don t have rocket scientists changing oil, I know. They should be taught a little about customer service.Service: Oil change

Nate was great. Often oil changes can be frustrating. Hard up-sells make you feel like you were fortunate your car made it to the service. My experience was respectful and informative. Earned my future business.

Absolutely not. I get the fast approach of this place but over $100 for an oil change is absurd. Not to mention the guy that helped me from start to finish was a jerk and not friendly. Also seems like they try and scam women. Good try. Not coming back. If I could give 0 stars, I would've.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

There was an issue with the headlamp bulb replacement and they stuck with it until they figured out what was wrong. They always take good care of me there. No extra charge! Great team :-)

We are business owners ourselves, and take pride in treating our customers with respect and making it easy for them to do business with us. The ownership of this business does not value their customers in the same way! My husband left our truck there one evening to receive service the next day. We left information on our windshield and on our window with our contact information and cell phone numbers and the services we would like performed. When we called the next morning at opening time, we were told that their parking lot was private property and that our truck was towed and impounded!!So because we tried to support a local business, we had to pay over $325 to valley autohaus to get our truck back.My husband drove into the business to talk to the manager. Char was not there but ensured us she would be there within 20 minutes to talk about the situation. An hour and a half later it was clear that she had no intentions of coming in.They were unwilling to help us in any way with this large bill incured.... We own a boat dealership where we service and sell boats. This would be like us having a boat towed when a customer leaves it outside our gate for servicing the next day. It is beyond our comprehension how a business could treat their customers this way. If it was a misunderstanding, help your customer take care of this large bill. Do something to show that you care. Northfield is a pretty small town with loyal patrons. This is not a way to start a relationship with a town.

Good service, but way over priced! $100 for an oil change on a generic 4 door sedan with the $15 cupon?! Even the dealer is cheaper. First and last time I go there. Can get synthetic oil and filter for $35 at napa. Pass.

I was told they were all out of synthetic blend oil. Huh??? A business that only does oil changes and they're out of oil?? $95 bucks for an oil change is ridiculous. When it was time to pay, I inserted my credit card but the guy hit accept before I could even see the total on the handheld device. I should be the one who hits accept, not the employee. I was hesitant to go here, but this experience convinced me never again.

I see some negative comments, but you'll get none from me about Valvoline Rapid Oil in Northfield. The Castrol that was there before them was the worst run place I've ever experienced, bar none. Char is a natural leader and whipped that store back into shape! As long as they maintain this type of professionalism, this location will have my business.Service: Oil change

Yes, the oil change is more expensive at Valvoline. What you pay for (and what you get) is convenience, speed, same-day, and real time transparency. If you value all of that, this is your place.

They ban vehicles and people after they quit working there. And everytime my mom goes there their breaks are visibly chipped when they weren t before. Don t trust anyone here they can t do anything and the prices are outrageous
