Had something in my tire. Called Doug s. They got me in the same day. I was in and out in 30 minutes and the price was super reasonable!! I always trust they will do right by me.

Doug's was excellent. Out of town visitor, car had 290k miles. Car suddenly started blowing cold air instead of the heat I wanted. Needed the car soon to return home. Doug got me in, diagnosed the problem (water pump), fixed it and got me back on the road by the end of the day. Doug's treated me very fairly and worked professionally. I've since driven the car almost 2,000 miles. Car runs like a top again.

The guys at this car repair shop are genuinely there to help folks out. They put in extra hours to help my folks out as their brakes gave out while they were driving through Northfield to visit us. Their prices were fair and their work was solid, even when they had captive clients with my folks. This seems consistent with the other reviews I'm seeing here. I'd recommend them to anyone in the Northfield area as the ones to go to first for vehicle repairs.Service: Brakes

Wipers quit in our car. Brought to a well known auto repair. They said bad wiper motor around $300 fix. Money pretty tight we wanted 2nd opinion. Doug's auto looked at it, he said a loose wiper connection $40 bucks 15 min fixed. Thanks for not taking advantage of families when times getting tuff. We will be back when our cars need work.

The men that works there are great guys, the prices of fixing my Jeep is very fair, and I love dropping off my Jeep and coming back the next day to pick her up.

Best mechanics I have ever found. I recommend them to anyone looking for a shop with real expertise, honesty, and incredible value for service.In addition to being great mechanics, they are also really good people. I have witnessed multiple occasions where they did not charge for significant repairs for people in need. And they don t even give me a hard time for my shoddy weekend warrior repairs. Class act all around.

Just check the visitors log when you arrive for hundreds of glowing compliments. Always fast, always affordable, and always pleasant. All vehicle maintenance shops should be run like this.

Doug and his crew are exceptional mechanics. They always seem to know the issue without charging an assessment fee. I've had too many bad experiences with mechanics in the twin cities - yes I drive from the cities to Doug's auto, because his shop is that good.
