I would give zero stars if I could. Our family chose this mechanic shop because it's local. We've been here a few times. Really wanted to find a trustable shop and give them our business. This isn't it. This is the type of place you leave with a pricey list of "to dos". A woman in the waiting room even made the comment "it's always something".And on top of that-On one occasion they forgot to put oil back in our gmc truck after an oil change-we realized once home, 20 miles away. They made up for it by giving us two free oil changes so I decided not to leave a review at that time. Things happen. On a different occasion (today) I waited outside for over 30 minutes with my two young boys before someone showed up to open the shop. Mind you it was raining, my boys are 5 and 1, and I showed up right before opening in order to avoid the wait (any parent would understand). I continued to wait to talk to a manager to only be told, with barely any care, "usually someone is here". And on our way out, imagine that another pricey to-do list! Over an hour later, Will NEVER return and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Sorry. First time I can let go, but this time I just can't.

First time customer, I was sent a flyer in the mail saying $10 over cost for tires. I already had two other quotes from other local tire dealers. I called and told them what I wanted and they got back to me quickly, and a honest $10 over cost, as I already knew what wholesale cost was while doing research. It took only a couple days to get my SPECIAL tires in. These are brand new to the market and a odd size. I ordered BF Goodrich HD Terrain in 255/80-17 for my ram dually. These are targeted for heavy hauling - working trucks.Brian called me at 2:15 pm said, tires are here and it will take a couple hours to do since there is 6 tires, can you drop it off? I didn t have a ride, so they offered to bring me back home while they worked on my truck.Overall, AWESOME experience, very friendly, courteous, and made it painless.Tires feel great, no vibration, man do these tires have some meat on them.You have a new customer TAC!!! I will be back.Thanks to all the crew.

I stopped in without an appointment and needed my oil changed. They were able to squeeze me in right away, and also gave me a coupon discount! The staff were very friendly and completed my oil change in record time!

Prompt service very friendly and detailed staff , I had a time issue and they accommodated it promptly. Service was fast my wait for the work was minimal. I will be returning in future and recommend them highly.

Luke here at TAC was helping with my repair while I was fighting with my warranty company over coverage. His team was very efficient and without a doubt the most enjoyable part during my 15 week battle. They were very understanding through every delay, and even housed my vehicle in their shop the whole time - for free! To top everything off, Luke offered his professional recommendations at every corner, even after our business deal had concluded.To keep things brief, TAC has been a pleasure to work with. If I ever have another major breakdown -fingers crossed- I will certainly bring my business here.

Total Auto Care Replaced my transmission and did some other work on my Ford EcoSport Titanium .They did a great job,. I called and made an appointment and asked if they had a rental or loaner car and they said yes. They had a loaner car waiting for me when I dropped my car off and they made everything very easy and smooth. They called that evening and told me I needed a new transmission and it would take 1week to get and 2-3 days to put it in and fix everything.They called and told meThat the warranty was paying for most of it I just had $210. I was happy about that.I got my car back about 1 week a halflater just as they said.They were great, I will go back if I need any future repairs. I'd give Zero Stars if possible.January 2023 I had something go out with my timing chain on a 2014 F150. I have CarMax extended warranty. TAC was listed as an authorized service provider.The initial repair, after they upsold me on a bigger coolant system, was never done properly. They left a cracked head cover in place and I kept smelling exhaust.I brought it back, they replaced the head cover. They didn't address the exhaust smell in the cab.I had the check engine light come on intermittently. My regular auto repair place said it was due to the timing chain. I brought it back to TAC, yet again, they told me to come pick it up a day later. Didn't give me any paperwork and wouldn't explain what they did other than the guy on the phone saying it sounded like something they screwed up.I had to bring it back again to try and address the exhaust/oil smell in the cab and finally, after ten months, they told me the vacuum pump was leaking.As of today, the check engine light is intermittently coming back on and my regular garage informed me that it's due to the timing chain issue that was supposed to be corrected in one of the 4 or 5 visits over the course of 2023.TAC made $6000 on a repair job that they never did correctly and still have not made good on.I will be calling CarMax warranty to have them pull their money back unless TAC pays Ford to make this right.They keep sending me marketing email asking "have you fixed your ford yet?" No, you haven't fixed my Ford yet.

Would not honor the special price they advertised. Wanted to change a perfectly good air filter. Sent the vehicle out the door one quart low on oil after an oil change. Communication was HORRIBLE.

They got me in same day and had me back on the road within a few hours after my car started overheating. Professional and thorough work, the found a separate critical issue that also needed repair. I would have wound up with bigger issues had they not caught it. I ll be back for any future work my vehicle needs.

My family has been using Tac for the last few years. We have two vehicles and they have worked on both of them, especially my 2013 Chevy Cruze which has been very problematic . Everyone is always helpful and has explained in detail what they found and what needs to get done so there are never surprises. They keep us updated during the process incase anything changes. They are very professional and informative, anytime we have had an issue with our cars we know that we call them up and they tell us to bring it on in so they can take a look at it. We appreciate their honesty and we will continue to keep bringing our cars into TAC.

I m a repeat customer and have been happy with their service. Their new waiting room is a great improvement. I was treated with respect & given an honest answer. They have a clean waiting room thats open & welcoming & relaxing including the chairs. They have a small glass door refrigerator stock full of cold water for anybody to have. I met the owner Matt. He gave me a bottle of cold water. Very nice owner. I told him this was my first time here & he genuinely welcomed me. Nathan is also a very nice guy. Treated me with respect. There was a lady there & she too, was very nice. Very relaxing atmosphere.

TAC (Total Auto Care) was great at fitting us in when our schedule was chaotic! They explained everything really well with there breakdown of what s Priority 1-3, what is most important to what could wait, to help accommodate our budget! Family/Christian owned Love that! Highly recommend! I had underbody damage after a semi tire blowout in front of me on the freeway. Professional and high quality repair and got me in right away to assess damage. I got my car towed here after it breaking down on 35W North. They were friendly but may have not known what they were doing. After my transmission fluid lines burst, I paid $820.06 for the whole transmission to go out. It was a very sad day for Frankenstein.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

If you need your repairs done in a timely fashion, bring your vehicle here. Excellent service, fair rates after discounts, and friendly folks who do a great job and even offer shuttling options. This place does decent work but prices are high. I decided to give them another chance as I needed a starter change. The quote was 750. However I was charged 900 and was told that the intake manifold had to be removed hence the price. However that was already known as the car was looked at a couple weeks prior. It was stated that they don t like to do quotes over the phone. This is bull all shops have books and computers that tell you the hours and process involved. Other quotes I got we about the same as 750 one shop in town was 713. However I had a 100 coupon for Total auto care so I went with this shop. They did honor the coupon but raises the price 150 to compensate. Can you say bait and switch. I don t mind paying for things when I am treated honestly. I was in a jam, Coldest stretch of below zero weather in the past 20 something years and my daughters car had no heat they not only called back fast because I messaged them. Got me in right away and worked with me to make sure she had hot heat when they were done. I brought my car in for an alignment and chose this shop for the convenience. Then I learned the price would be $149 + $20 for shop fees and taxes! Upon making some quick phone calls, I learned they are the highest in the area by $33! When asked if they would match their competitor's prices they refused. I regret that I did not do my research beforehand.Service: Wheel alignment

Called first thing in the morning to try to make a same-day appointment for an oil change. Person that answered the phone was very efficient and accommodating. Took my vin number to assure they had/could get the correct filter, etc. When I arrived, took my car on-time and were really easy to work with. Matt was awesome I called and no appointment needed. Just come in he said when you can! I got there and they took my van in right away and got the tire repaired and also found a loose tie rod and let me know right away and gave me a quote and let me know it was critical to get this fixed right away, no matter where I choose to get it fixed, for my safety.
