First time dealing with this dealership. We worked with Travis and had the best experience possible on our new truck purchase. Travis was very knowledgeable on all our questions on the vehicle and did an excellent job on getting it all set up for us.

We have bought two new vehicles from Chuck Spaeth Ford, mainly because of Brady Wilhelm. Nobody treats us with more respect and just plain listens to what we need. He is the reason we keep coming back and will do so in the future. Everyone at the dealership is so down to earth with no pressure to buy which we really appreciate. Very happy with our 2024 Edge!

I came to Chuck Spaeth Ford initially to have some rust issues fixed under warranty. What followed was one of the most frustrating service experiences I ever had. I brought my car in for service in September. Due to dealership run around, I didn t get my car in until December. When I got my car back, I realized the hood panel was poorly aligned and not all of the rust was removed. I get that this dealership doesn t have a body shop but I got nothing but excuses to get me off the lot after the botched repair. Throughout this whole process staff treated me dismissively and Brian Wendinger often avoided my calls and would not return voicemails. If you want your car serviced by people with work ethic and integrity, go somewhere else because the service department here is awful.

I worked with Dan in July to order a new F350, the process was smooth with no hiccups. The truck showed up early December and I have to say that they were very fair with the trade price and left happy.The following 3 complaints all arose after the purchase of the pickup at the beginning of December through the end of the month.The first thing was that I wanted the Ford style WeatherTech floormats. They seemed like a better fit and looked better than the plain WeatherTech s. The mats showed up in a WeatherTech box which had me confused since this is not what I wanted. I contacted Dan and he said the others were on backorder. No phone call or email asking if I wanted to wait for them to come in or go with the WeatherTech s. I guess he knows what I want and went ahead and made the decision for me which I m not pleased with.Then I contacted Dan with the p/n of wheels that I preferred more than the stock ones that came with the pickup. Still haven t received a quote on the wheels and that was the end of December. It s now February 9, 2024.Lastly was I found out there was a design change in 24. Ford decided to save some money and only install one functional lockout on the driver s side and a dummy lockout on the passenger side. This means that both axle shafts are continuously turning along with the spider gears. This does 2 things; creates excess wear on the differential and affects fuel economy. From a short test I performed was about .6mpg. Not a huge gain but over the life of the vehicle its substantial. I raised this question, and they were going to talk with their rep. I m not aware of the content of that conversation other than that is how they come now. Dan was going to bring this up in their sales meeting as to what they were going to do. They said one lockout is $195.00 which quite frankly is ridiculous for something that is mostly plastic. I did ask for the rep s number or email so I could talk directly with them but was ignored. Again, it s February 9, 2024, and I still haven t heard back from them.Chuck Spaeth Ford had no problems taking my money and selling me a pickup but since problems arose which I fell a very navigable haven t heard a peep since. Service after the sale is what keeps customers coming back but, in this case, not sure if I will. I will wait and see if anything is accomplished after they read this review because there are several agencies that I can forward this onto if this does not get resolved.Update 2/13/24. I have received a phone call from Dan and we were able to work everything out and I am pleased with the outcome. I have upgrade to 4 stars because of the timely response from Dan. I do recommend Check Spaeth Ford for anyone purchasing a vehicle!

Definitely an amazing team at this ford dealership. Alan Ahlrich and Kari Poulson were such a great help that goes beyond this 5 star review. The paperwork process was simple and easy to complete. Plus the presentation and wonderful detail work that was done to my vehicle was definitely above showroom quality. A++

We have bought all of our vehicles at Chuck Spaeth Ford for almost as long as we have lived in New Ulm(over 30 years now). We also get them serviced and repaired there, the convenience factor is great and we have always been very satisfied.

Had oil, filter, air filter and wipers done in a very timely manner. Christine had forgotten to take care of another issue. Had to make another appointment for the following week to take care of it. Another 60 mile round trip!!

I had an appointment to have our oil changed as we were heading out of town MEA weekend. They took my car to the back and quickly came up with our cabin air filter which has clearly been chewed on, they wanted to verify that it would be ok to replace with a new one so they wouldn't surprise me with an extra charge and to be clear as to why it needed to be replaced. They came back a short time later to let me know that my tires would also need to be replaced VERY soon as one of them was at 0% left. We knew we would need to have them replaced before winter, but didn't realize how bad the one actually was. They replaced them very quickly for us and got us on the road for our vacation. With a fresh oil change, new cabin air filter and new tires! We have always been very happy with our service at Chuck Spaeth Ford and Quick Lane.

I have owned 3 Ford Escapes and had them serviced there under warranty. Employees are curious and helpful. The service manager or head mechanic I have worked with on all 3 Escapes has been super. He is thorough in his explanations of what needs to be fixed, how much time to fix and cost (if any). I purchased the extended warranty of 5 yrs on my current Escape. First time I have used it at 85,000 miles on a parts recall. Vehicle has held up well. Service at Chuck Spaeth Ford is Great!

I had been looking for a new car for months. My search wasn t only hampered by cars that weren t up to my standards, but poor dealerships and salesmen too. My experience at Chuck Spaeth Ford was the opposite. The service was unbelievable. The whole staff made the purchase process a breeze. I felt totally comfortable with the vehicle thanks to the knowledgeable salesman. The staff that assisted me with the paperwork process was no different. I would recommended this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle with a level of personal service.

I can't begin to tell how much we pestered Alex, Rick and the detail department at the Sleepy Eye location. These guys went out of their way to please me and my husband. I had a few complaints about the pickup we were looking at and they all went above and beyond to make sure it was up to my satisfaction, which is hard to do....ask my husband ;)They buffed and polished the "new to us" F150 till it looked new. The day we were to pick it up, I noticed a crack in the brake light cover. They immediately replaced it so we didn't have to drive back the 2 hr round trip.Alex was great, I asked so many questions that he ended up doing a lot of research and asked others to make sure he got the correct answer for me. He even helped me with the Ford App so that I can start our truck from my app and then help me link my iphone & contacts to the truck for the hands-free law before we left with it. Even now, after 3 weeks of owning the F150, I am still emailing him questions which he takes time to answer for me. We went ELSEWHERE (SD) 3 years ago for another car and the second that we were off the lot, even though I had questions, we never heard anything from the sales rep ever again. Chuck Spaeth Ford is so different, friendly and awesome when it comes to customer service. We have already warned Alex that we will be coming back to him for our next vehicle.

Great experience with this dealer, these people! I bought my car there from out of state (MA). Mike K. and Kari P. both went above and beyond to make this happen. Kari made everything happen with emailing/ups-ing docs and Mike had to come meet me at the closed dealership, when my flight was delayed. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Chuck Speath Ford went over and above what was expected when I purchased the new Ranger. From the initial ordering until the delivery the dealer keep in touch with me. Felt very welcome when I walked in. Spent a couple days talking back and forth with sales man Travis H. Bought a pickup, had concerns about it's maintenance history. They down loaded complete history for me. Drove over 200 miles to get there. Would highly recommend talking to folks at this dealership if anywhere in the area.

I ordered my 2022 F150 Platinum on 12/21/21. I took delivery on 1/21/2023. 13 months to the day. Dan at Chuck Spaeth Ford was wonderful though out the whole process. He kept me informed of where my truck was in the build process. The 5 stars is for Dan and Chuck Spaeth Ford. If I could I would leave Ford a 2 star review due to the length of time it took to receive my truck.
