I can't even describe how amazing new prague auto repair is! First of all we're on cross country road trip and we had front axle leak ( which was fixed 2 months ago by different mechanic). I called new prague auto repair and described my issue they took my car in next morning even though they were very busy, fix was done within 24 hours, all original parts! I've also had issue with check engine light they called dealership for me and checked with them and that was something that can be done under my warranty! They also did royal treatment for us because they drop us off and took us back by their car making sure were taken care of. Super honest, reliable, professional!!! I highly recommend New prague auto repair!Thank you again!!!

110% Would recommend and will bring all my vehicles here!!I have a 2017 F150, i scheduled and dropped it off for a Rear Differential Pinion Seal Leak. I just had this seal replaced 30k miles ago by a different shop i will not list. but it was leaking BAD. Within a couple hours I received a call to describe in detail, what the issue was, and a couple different solutions. I asked for his opinion and out of the couple options he gave it WAS NOT the most expensive solution. He was 100% honest and gave me his professional advice.When i went and picked up the truck they gave me the detailed sheet of service and then let me know that my rear breaks and rotors were getting very close to needed to be replaced, my front left wheel bearing has a little bit of play and will need to be addressed somewhat soon, and my air filter and cabin air filter were dirty and could be replaced. That was it.. NO Pressure to get ALL this done right now, or try to upsell me on every little thing. Not to mention i brought the truck in for a rear differential leak and yet they still took the time to remove the glovebox, check the cabin air filter, find it could be replaced soon, just to notify me when i pick the truck up!This is the level of service, honesty, and attention to detail i have been looking to find within a mechanic for a LONG time! I have an F250 diesel truck that needed airbags installed to level out my truck when pulling my Travel Trailer. Nick(the owner) did a great job fabricating new mounting brackets, to relocate the airbags and redirect the airlines so I have many years of safe camping with my family.I highly recommend New Prague Auto Repair (Nick) for ALL your vehicle maintenance and repair.Also, I have had the pleasure of talking with some of NPAR employees they are all respectful and professional and genuinely care about their customers and the customers needs. As luck would have it, on the day that it snowed the tire on my tractor needed repair and I was unable to snow blow my driveway leading to my business. I brought the tire in and they were able to help me despite the fact that they had other business and the tire may have been too large for their equipment to handle. Using other methods, they quickly repaired the tire and got me on my way. Thanks to them I was able to clear our driveway and keep business flowing uninterrupted! Friendly people who are willing to help! I would recommend them any day.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I cannot recommend this auto shop enough. Staff has always been so friendly and helpful. They do great mechanic work for lower prices than most shops i ve gone to in the past. On very short notice, (called 1/2 hour b4 closing), I was able to get in the very next day at a time that worked for me perfectly!The quote was $250-$1000 (!) less than Honda of course, but still just a bit higher than a couple of other local competitors, although another local competitor never even called me back like they said they would. Guess they didn't need my money! Also, the phone was promptly answered every time I called by a very knowledgeable staff member (who very professionally dealt with numerous minor roadblocks I created for her without one hint of irritation) -- unfortunately her name eludes me at the moment , so sorry!I could actually go on but it's been a very looooong week. Overall, it was just a really easy experience and I'm very grateful for that!ps: One little glitch -- my car is NOW showing the wrench! I'll have to make one more phone call tomorrow I guess, but I'm not worried about it one little bit!

Gary and his staff are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! My daughter was driving to Fargo yesterday to move and had car trouble in Monticello and Gary was so kind to call the auto place she stopped at to speak with the owner to make sure she was taken care of!! New Prague Auto Repair has taken care of my cars since moving to New Prague 3 years ago. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this automative repair shop hands down!!!! Can't thank them enough!!

First time here and the best most effective experience we ve ever had. They literally drove to the house to see if the bus would start at their own cost when the tow truck delayed! You don t get that anywhere! New Prague Auto repair goes above and beyond. Thank you!

I went there to have them put my spare tire on because the treads separated on one of my tires. Turns out the spare tire was just as bad... the staff was very friendly and helpful and didn't even charge me even after doing a bit of work on my vehicle! If definitely go back!

Charged me $80 to plug my truck into their computer to tell Mr the airbag needed a spring replaced. I already knew the airbag had an issue. Didn't fix or take apart anything. Won't be going back again.

Took my car there for an oil leak. It was determined by them that I had a major issue and it was going to cost $600. That didn't seem right so I took it somewhere else and it was determined that I had some transmission lines damaged and that total cost was $100. They still charged me $80 to check the car out. Very disappointed in their approach!!

This place is a scam. They try to do work on your car that you never agreed to and then they can't understand why you would get mad when you don't want to pay for the unwanted work. The only plus side is they finally gave in and allowed me to take my car. Hopefully they look at these google reviews and make some changes.
