My car started shaking at stop signs and stoplights and I needed help. After reading reviews and looking around I decided to give Matt's a try. I was able to easily schedule an appointment to have a my car looked at with a complimentary inspection. They were courteous and professional when checking in. I recieved thorough details of what was happening with photos to let me know what issues they found. I was given the option to accept or decline any jobs that needed to be done. I did have to pay for additional inspections but due to the amount of time and things they checked I had no problem paying for their time. They found what my issue was and fixed it in a timely manner. They did a great job and now I have time to save for upcoming work I know is needed. Thanks guys for you hard work and professionalism. I will definitely be back.

Matt s Team is impressive and professional! We have been coming here for over a decade because we trust the impeccable professionals at Matt s. This time my son had a mishap with an emergency brake and I called for help! This team took my vehicle right in and checked it out for any issues in the braked as well as explaining some needed fluid replacements. My vehicle was in and out and the experience was again so impressive! The service and mechanics at Matt s are top notch! 5 Star Service!!!

I haven t taken my vehicles anywhere else for 15 years. Always a great experience.This time was for transmission fluid leaking. The crew quickly found the problem and let me know that routine maintenance would take care of it. Really appreciate the quick service and ease of getting everything taken care of

The people here are great!! They helped me with a tire defect warranty and I didn't even purchase the tires from them! Nothing but good things to say! Will definitely be going back in the future for any auto services!

Normally good service. Recently went in for oil change and tire rotation and was waiting at location for almost 2 hours. Manager did rectify with technician, but not until too much time had passed.

Absolutely above and beyond all my expectations! The thorough complimentary inspection is highly detailed and with a report you can view right on your phone. They know exactly what they re doing, will suggest routine maintenance and also if they find something they show actual pictures of it. Manager was above and beyond helpful explaining everything. Price may be a little higher than some anticipate but, like they say if you want experienced and thorough expert service and have things done the right way it s well worth it! They were very thorough with the work and everything provided was quick. The techs took pictures of everything while fixing my steering shaft and I got text updates every step of the way. If you need auto service, look no further than Matt s Auto in Pine City! The service team never fails to give excellent mechanical service and exceptional customer service!!Yesterday I brought my auto in for an oil change as well as for diagnostic testing and other service. I received a very friendly welcome to the shop. I spoke to the Shop Foreman, Tom. My car had one complicated issue that Tom explained in laymen s terms that made the repair simple to understand. He deserves a medal for patience!Erik and Jager, two of the mechanics who worked on the car yesterday, provided excellent mechanical service. Shout out also to Jimmy, the other mechanic who makes up part of the incredible team. They all seem dedicated to providing the best possible service for their customers and appear to really enjoy their jobs.5 stars!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Matt's Automotive did a great job from the moment we walked in the door. They were straight forward about all the repairs that needed to be done. Chris explained all that needed to be done and we were kept informed. Very friendly and fast service. We dropped our car off in the morning for a late afternoon tire swap and alignment. The car was ready just a few hours later. They do appear to be slightly more expensive than others, but the quality of work and timelines is worth it.

Really impressed with the curtesy of this shop. Car runners were gone for the day and the service manager took time to bring me home himself and pick me up after my car was completed. Gave the inside of my car a nice wipe down when they were done. Really easy shop to work with. Super understanding of your time and will try their best to work with the time you have. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Matt's! They finished quicker than expected on both of our necessary repairs and the service manager even offered to stay a few minutes late to ensure I could make it before the end of the day. That personal touch, for us, goes beyond just general customer service to exceptional service. We also appreciated the very clear break down of recommended services and costs. That allowed us to prioritize and schedule those services at our pace, and afforded me the chance to discuss each with my spouse before proceeding. The constant communication is a huge relief. I would definitely recommend them!

Called on Wednesday with a concern to my usual Matt's Auto, although booked, suggested Matt's Moorhead. Within minutes I was able to schedule for an appt the next day, along with have my worries calmed by stopping to have my tires checked.Throughout my wait they kept me updated, and listened to my concern and took the time to figure it out. I was able to get back to work quickly, and have a safe vehicle yet again for all the things my kiddo needs. I was worried about bringing my vehicle in, and put it off, and finally couldn't put it off longer or listen to what others had said was the issue. Thanks Matt's! !!Service: Tires

I cannot say enough nice things about Matt's. The interactive online service, quality work and exceptional employees have astounded me. The heater fan in my car stopped working and I was terribly concerned about having no heat in my vehicle. I was told the next available appointment was over a week out but was advised to bring my car in so they could check it before the appointment available. They were able to check it out, replace the blower motor and change my oil in a day. I was able to see progress and add services to my cart easily online without pressure. I got videos showing what they were finding. I am amazed.Service: Oil change

Thank you to Chris and the team at Matt s Auto today! I spent all day yesterday trying to get our truck somewhere to deal with a flat. With the temps and storm brewing, I couldn t find any tow companies that were able to help us out. I called Matt s Auto this morning, left a message of what I was looking for, and when Chris called me back, he had a tow lined up for me and promised we d get our truck back before the holiday weekend. They did just that! Amazing customer service, and made us feel like we were a top priority, though I am sure they were just as busy with other customers!! Matt s Automotive has been my go-to for vehicle repairs for the last 3 years. They are kind, professional, timely and transparent when it comes to what needs to be done and what repairs can wait. I trust them 100%. Their prices are fair and I love that they send video inspections and service approval confirmation via text messaging. It s a more convenient way to keep in touch during the work day than playing phone tag. I also love that they provide community support through promotions that they run. Great place. Matts Auto thought they could take advantage of me and my mother. Went in for a battery light on my car. Came back 2 days later after being told it would be done the same day, and got charged over $300.00 plus it never got fixed. We went to a local repair shop. He fixed the issues right away. Just a bad wire. took half hour. Charged me only $80. Plain out simple.... Matts will rip you off.Service: Battery

I ve been a customer for a couple of years now. I ve not once been disappointed in the service. From the nice young lady who I talked to on the phone, to be greeted at the front desk by Kris, speaking with John in the service center, and a friendly hello from Matt the owner, this is truly an amazing business with me, the customer, in mind. The work is top notch and backed by a warranty for many of the things I ve had done. I decided to wait there for about 30 minutes when I first stopped in for a diagnostic and was provided with a comfortable area to wait. The free coffee bar was a real surprise and I had total control of the remote! I am a single mother who had a bad wiper as well. Matt said he couldn t let me drive around for two days, waiting for a special part to come in, in an unsafe vehicle with the snow coming so he let me use a loaner car free of charge. I felt that not only did Matt s automotive care about fixing my vehicle, they cared about our safety as well. Kudos to the team on always a job well done. I d recommend this team to everyone! To make a long review longer, I also have to add in I appreciate all the sponsorships Matt s automotive does for our community. All they are missing is hot cocoa on the coffee bar!

They got me in the week before Christmas and got my car taken care of before my road trip out of state. Got a super detailed inspection as well so I know what to get worked on next. Matt s Automotive Service is a phenomenal place to get your car worked on if there is an issue with it. My power steering system was going down hill and I brought it into Matt s Automotive Service to have it looked at. They go over your car thoroughly, snapping pictures and looking over all parts, and provide you with a comprehensive list of what problems were found. My power steering pump was ineffective so Matt s Automotive Service handed me the keys to one of their company cars for the time being. My car was fixed quickly and it was smooth sailing from that point on. The service was great, they always provided me with updates, and they love to talk about cars. 10/10, if something major were to happen to my car again I would definitely take it to Matt s Automotive Service again! I needed a battery. I scheduled an appt. The day before my appt. my car would not start. I called them to see if they could help. They said they could not give me a jump start, but they could tow it for $120!! They could not give me a jump because their Ins. would not allow it?? I give them 5 steaming piles of POO!!!

Went in for an oil change and they were phenomenal. They did more than just an oil change. They document and photograph things on your vehicle that may need to be looked at within the next 2 years. They are honest with you when things need work and don't try to scam you into paying out more than you need to. As a women, I've been to many shops were I am treated as if I wouldn't know better even though I typically do a lot of the regular maintenance on my vehicle myself. It's not often that I go to a shop where the mechanics are honest with me. They also have a nice lounge area for you to wait while your vehicle gets worked on.

Had a fantastic experience at Matt s Service Center. While it was recommended by a coworker, that and the stellar reviews convinced me to take my car in.Not only was the process transparent, but the immediate access to online service summaries, repair options, and pricing were resources I d never been offered at a mechanic before.Completely unpressured and unrushed, I received a new set of tires quickly and at a fair price. Couldn t be happier! The employees were so friendly and professional. Plus, our daughter loved the Matt s stuffed animal that adorably appeared in her car seat! :)
