After years of ad luck at auto shops I found Johnsons Auto and when I tell these guys make you feel welcome and informed its no joke. FIRST: The front desk woman is amazing, super helpful and ready to bend over backwards to help answer questions. Second: My suv was services by Dennis and this man was so kind. Due to my multitude of questions he was repeatedly called up and I felt so bad but each time he had a smile and a supportive attitude! Not only will they have my long term business but my son is now booking with them as well. If you are a car expert or mostly clueless like myself, trust these guys they will treat you like family and make you feel safe and sound with any work they do! They were also less expensive then almost all the other shops I price checked. I knew I was in good hands when I pulled in and saw the state trooper vehicles being serviced there as well. Amazing business, definitely a 10 star in my book!!

Hands down the best mechanics in town. They are great at what they do! My entire family comes here. Great work, always an easy experience. Honest and trustworthy.We have several construction vehicles that get pushed pretty hard. We break stuff all the time. They continue to run strong and I credit that to Johnson s.Thanks guys!

I can't say thank you enough! We had our van towed to Johnson's Auto Repair after hours and by 8 the next morning we had a diagnosis. They had it fixed and ready for pick up before noon! Fast service! Thank you, thank you!

Great group of people who work there. Trust them 100%. Highly recommend them for service needs. I was able to get my car in with days of service behind light. Prompt communication also!

Best experience I ve had getting a car repaired. I had my car taken to another place in Fargo and they were rude to my boyfriend and I and quoted my car to be $2000+ to keep running. The office lady here was the absolute sweetest and very easy to talk to and they got my car back running for much less and very quick over Christmas time!

Do not take your vehicle here, they don't do what you ask them to do. I wanted the diagnostic on my 4wheel drive. They charged me but couldn't tell me what was wrong. Instead they tell me I ruined my 4 wheel drive by having 4 different size tires on my car. My tires are all the same size. You give them a bad review and she's calling you, harassing you to take it down. Who does this? Took my car to fix it forward, they diagnosed the problem within half an hour and gave me a print out of what was wrong with my car which is what they should of done. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would have. Take your vehicle anywhere but this place.

Don't take your car here. My Daughter took her car in for a diagnostic test on her alw drive. They did everything but and changed 400.00 Dollars plus. They didn't like the post so they said if I take it down they would give her money back but then they changed their mind. So don't trust this place especially if you're a woman .they will take advantage of you

This review is long overdue. Life gets busy. Anyway a test of a true mechanic shop is when they stand behind their work. Its one thing when things go right, but when they don't that is when you find out who will stand by their word. Well that happen with my truck. My truck has been going there for a few years now as I'm quite meticulous about it as its 20 years old. Well on one occasion the truck threw a check engine light after a pretty major repair. So I brought back to Johnson Auto. They dived back into it and replaced the "knock" sensors. I picked up and went up the road not 10 miles and the same check engine light came on. Took it in again and they did some more work on it along with replacing the sensors one more time. Keep in mind none of this was charged to me. Sure enough a 3rd time and the check engine light came on again. I was about to pull my hair out. However Dennis assured me they will get to the bottom of it. Well they did as it was a a wire from those sensors rubbing on the transmission causing a fault. They rewired the harness and the check engine light has never come back. I have been to quite a few garages in town where one wouldn't even warranty a tire I just bought less than a year ago. That is nothing compared to the time spent on my truck trying to figure this out. So I'm indebted to Johnson Auto for fixing the truck the first time, then standing behind the work after three return trips.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

I recently had my exhaust and shocks replaced on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. Customer service was excellent, the repairs were fast and high-quality, and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back if I ever need any work done.

Without informing us the cost of an estimate to fix our vehicle s AC, they did a $200 diagnostic without our permission. They didn t fix the AC problem or our ignition problem and we were charged $500 for absolutely nothing. Stay away from this so called mechanic , they are shisters!

I've been bringing vehicles to Dennis before he even opened his own shop. He's done plenty of work for my dad and I, from transmission to engine repair, oil changes, new tires, and many other things. He's fixed other shops mistakes, fixed issues without charging us, and has always treated us good. I called just to see if they could quick look at my broken wiper blade before bad weather arrived...they got me in, did a quick fix and didn't even charge me. They seem very busy and I heard a lot of great communication with customers going on while I was waiting. I'm glad I now know about them!

My friends and I were in quite the predicament. Our truck broke down at 4am. Left us stranded. Tow truck couldn't take us with them to the mechanic. No transportation services available. Police refused to give us a ride. Luckily, a sweet man gave us a 30 minute lift to Johnsons. Where, they were booked way into next week. Despite this, they made us first priority. We don't know where we would be without them. Super friendly, considerate, and reasonable pricing. 100% would return if weren't far from home. Thank you!
