We've used Travis and his crew for a number of years. Never have I had a complaint. I recently called in for an estimate on an expensive repair, but what I got was a suggestion for an easy and inexpensive remedy that I could do at home. It worked! And he saved me thousands in repair costs!

Fantastic! They work with your financial situation and care about their customers. I've been going to them for over a year and they have saved me thousands of dollars and found a great vehicle for my family and at a affordable price! I'll be coming here for all my car repair needs and if I'm ever in the market for another vehicle they will be my first choice.

I just moved out to the area this spring and they are around the corner from me. I had a very bad oil leak on my new Chevy (well new to me 2021) and I was fairly sure I knew what it was. I had to be to work that last Monday by noon and they already had a booked schedule. Travis got it in and out of there in 90 minutes and it was what I thought it was, popped a seal in the cold and was overdue an oil change and that is all he charged me for. I can't recommend this place enough. I brought my other car over the same day for a tire repair and leak check. I have very bad trust issues with mechanics after the last place's mechanic used my old car for spare parts to outfit his older version of my vehicle. Travis has earned my trust in a very short time. The staff is wonderful too :)

This place came to me on a recommendation and they didn't lie. I had them do an alignment and not only were they cheaper than anywhere else but they were able to get my car in and out right away. My car hasn't driven this straight since I purchased it. These guys are hands down the best place for auto work. If you need something done come here.

My daughter just bought a car from Travis. Everything, from the initial phone call until the completed purchase went very well. She had a small, new sound in the car after she purchased the car, and Travis and his crew had her bring the car back in. They took care of it immediately! This is one of the few times that I have purchased a car from a car lot and felt very confident that the company was going to stand behind the purchase.

They're awesome!! Put a new engine in my 2005 Saturn Vue. They checked it all out. New seals etc, new clutch, new muffler. I don't recognize the car it runs so quiet and fast!!. Check them out!! Great service nice people!!

Travis is excellent. Squeezed me in, explained the issue and fixed it quick. Showed me one of my rear brakes is rusted and will need attention soon but didn't try to pressure me into doing it right now. No BS, no games. Recently moved to the area and I am definitely coming back to this service shop.

Great shop! I went in thinking I needed new lower control arms but after drop off Travis called me to let me know the repair wasn't as major as I thought. Less that 24 hours after drop off I was back on the road! Great service and always support local!!

This is my second time I have gone to Milhausen and will go back again when needed. I trust them to give me truthful answers about what my car needs. They are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend! I live an hour away, but my car broke down near their shop and I had to blindly trust them to give me a fair deal. They got me back on the road within 24 hours for less than what I expected to pay. Great communication, great service, great price. Thank you, Milhausen's!

I had an issue with my car after hours, so I had a tow truck drop my car off when they were closed, hoping they would be able to get me in, in the next couple of days. Travis got me in right away and had my car fixed by 1030am the next morning. This is not the first time I have received excellent service at Milhausen Auto. My husband took his car in to have his brakes and rotors replaced. He had the parts, he just needed their service techs to change them out. This past Friday, he was in Monticello when his brakes wouldn t work and had to pay to have it towed home. When he took it back to them, he found out that there was oil in the brake reservoir, the cap on the reservoir wasn t correct and they didn t bleed the brakes. The owner argued with my husband and was belligerent when he stated that the last person who opened the reservoir put oil in it (that was them) and that they don t have to bleed the brakes.Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance

This review is for Milhausen Auto Sales as they not only do repairs, but they also sell used cars. This is a bit long but these are good guys and this story is WELL worth the read. I purchased a 2010 Expedition from Milhausen. On the test drive a check light came up and it threw somes codes. Tyler said he would take care of it and called me a couple days later to say it was fixed. After I paid for the truck I stopped to gas up a few blocks away. The truck started sputtering and threw the same codes. I drove back and Tyler said he would take care of it if I brought it back a few days later. I was concerned at first this was a tail light warranty situation, but Tyler seemed like a decent guy so I agreed. Well I brought it back and I can tell you they had to put WAAAAY more into it than they planned. New timing chains, guides, cam phasers, VCT solenoids. This was BIG TIME integrity in action. 100% kept his word to make it right. Buy here without hesitation. These are good people.

The guys at Milhausen are AMAZING! I am entirely way to attached to my old pickup and they have gone out of their way on multiple occasions to help me out. Last week my truck decided to act up on the worst day possible - I took it to the shop and they were able to get me a temporary fix to get me on the road until I was able to get it in for the repair. Their communication is great and they genuinely care about people. I have never had that type of personal care from a mechanic. If I could give a million stars I would Thanks guys!

Best mechanic around with the most competitive rates. Have trusted Travis and his team for over 10 years. Honest quoting and diagnosing, quick turn time, with no surprises. If additional findings are present, he will call instead of servicing and billing without permission. Stands by his work and knows his trade. Moved from Montrose to Big Lake and will still only take my vehicles to him.

Every time I have visited Milhausen's I have received AMAZING customer service! They are so personable and genuine. They explain everything that needs to be completed in a way that is easy to understand, so you know up front what work needs to be done. Milhausen's has the most honest amd best pricing in the Twin Cities area. For the same quote on my Tahoe, Milhausen's was 1/3 of the cost of their competition.

Travis has always treated me,my family, friends and I top notch ! Definitely not your average used car lot. Nick and the rest of the employees are the best also. ( even helped my mother when she had a car issue up the road at -18 degrees.) I'm just saying .....

I know somebody that went there, that got alignment fixed & they didn't really fix the alignment, they only air your tires up all the way with the air & they broke the valves. There rude, they lie & tried to kill my family.. Her alignment was going towards oncoming traffic, when she only needed it done 2 inches. They basically did a quick job, and they really rushed threw it. Tried saying she didn't know what she was talking about.. They are not good people, they have had a lot of reviews of nasty comments. Dont trust theses guys. They will do anything to steal your money in the cheapest faster manor.

Used to only go here to get my car fixed But the last year or so there auto mechanical division has really gone down hill. No one in my family has had a good experience getting there car fixed there anymore. Maybe they lost there Good mechanic's. I don't know. I would still buy a used car from them but that is it.

Very Impressive!I purchased a car from them (great price BTW) but less than 24 hours later Tranny went out. Milhausen said ship it back and they gave me a full refund. An honest dealer and I plan on buying a car from again!

Always got great customer service when bringing my vehicle in. A couple times they were gracious enough to squeeze me in to help fit my schedule.They dont try to oversell anything and will give you straight answers.I would recommend them to anyone.

Brought my Ford here for the dreaded spark plugs replacement. Went worst case scenario, but these guys handled it perfectly and got it done. Truck runs great!

I tried to bring my durango in there and after week and a half wait, they called to cancel since the loaner they promised wasn't available, they then told me I would have to wait almost 2 more weeks for their next opening. Too bad since Travis is the best I know.

Have taken numerous vehicles there for repairs. Very fair prices for the work performed. Repairs done in a timely manner and Travis is very honest and straight forward.
