When you walk in the door you re greeted by Matt who has the BEST customer service skills I have ever seen!! The Mechanics are AMAZING! They do quality work, they re trustworthy and honest!! They keep you posted on what they are doing and let you know what needs to be done in the future. BAM is the BEST place you could take your vehicle!! We will not go anywhere else. They truly care about your car!!!

I went to BAM in July, to address some issues with my vehicle. Matt was very courteous, then when it came to discussing what repairs to be made, BAM sent me a file with images from my car, descriptions of what was happening/what impact it would have, and Matt walked me through it on the phone. I felt empowered to make decisions in a low-pressure environment.Later, I was unable to find the trunk release in my vehicle, and I so called, brought my car over (an hour early, I messed up the time), and Matt adjusted a panel, found the trunk release AND showed me my coolant levels were good, so I was free to go on my trip to see family.I look forward to continue using BAM to care for my car, and I recommend them highly.

I would give BAM Automotive 1000+ stars if it were possible! This place is the best! Austin and Brady are honest, knowledgeable, conscientious, and just downright nice guys! Matt is super helpful and friendly!They won t nickel & dime you, in fact they openly tell you if you do not need something done.They also are detail-oriented and prioritize giving the best service and client satisfaction.A nice touch that did not go unnoticed:As I dropped off my van on a cold evening recently, Austin had the loaner car started and warming up, with MPR Classical Radio playing, my favorite. It s the small things that are also important because it shows thoughtfulness.I was shocked at the relatively low cost of the repairs that I had done, and the COSTCO discount saved me well over $200. You just can t beat these guys for service, cost, and satisfaction!

We got our brake pads replaced here . Matt is an awesome guy and provided great customer service !But our complaint is that when we first drove it , we did hear noise from the front right wheel but we trusted that everything was okay. Since they did a test drive.Not even about two weeks after our appointment , the front right brake started to grind and shake the car. We had to bring it to our dealership to have it checked out.Turns out someone didn t properly screw the caliper down. Which lead to our car to not be able to drive forward, because the caliper became wedged against the rim. Luckily we weren t on the highway when it happened.

My car would not start, and I had it towed to BAM. I really needed it within 24 hours. Matt told me they were booked solid, but he would try to at least diagnose the problem. BAM really came through and had my car running within 4 hours of dropping it off. Great customer service!

My daughter went in to have car checked for her drive to el paso ...checked meaning fluids, tires,etc. Ended up being a 263.00 bill....turned out they went n bought a speed control senor without asking or telling her the problem ...she had one already put on about 2 months ago..so the part had warranty.. I went back next day to get the old part n response was they didn't know n that part was probably a misfire n that part was missing n if we have any more problems take it back so they can put the missing part on...now come on they charged 130.00 an hourfor labor work done on the speed control sensor. Well I would think they would maybe or should've asked or told her before getting the part n they would've known it was still under warranty n far as fluids being checked no they were not because when they were done they were asked if fluids were good n they forgot to tell mechanics so he had to go back n Check them...so not sure what was added they just said they topped off what was needed...

Great local auto repair and service shop. Austin was excellent to deal with. Sent someone from his shop to pickup our car with a dead battery promptly. Great follow up from service team with status of vehicle, repair estimate etc. Highly recommend going there instead of a dealer.

The care the BAM team took to properly diagnose the issue with my car saved me from having to get a new engine and spending thousands of dollars. Following a recent move to the area I found myself stranded on the side of the highway without warning at rush hour. My vehicle had always been regularly dealer serviced, but my extended warranty had expired 3 months prior. After a tow to the dealership, I learned that I needed a new engine at just 93K miles..and at a cost of $18K!The guys at BAM! came recommended by a friend in the industry, so I called. They agreed to take on the project, even though it required another tow and the engine was partially torn down.After full diagnostics, consultation, and careful consideration, it was agreed that they would locate a used engine with lower miles, complete a partial rebuild on it, pull the old engine, and install the "new" one.This was no small job, quite labor intensive, and fairly specialized on such a late model vehicle!They also changed ALL my fluids due to ease of access (oil, radiator, transmission, transfer case), recharged my A/C, and did a full alignment following the engine swap.Even with ALL this work :MY FINAL BILL WAS NEARLY HALF THE DEALER QUOTE !!!The BAM! shop was CLEAN, their communication CLEAR and FRIENDLY, and their work TOP TIER. The owner even followed up with me in person to make sure I was satisfied with the work and SERVICE. Who does that these days?I have owned many vehicles and worked with many shops over the years.BAM! will get my repeat business, and they deserve your business, too!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

While getting my tires changed at Costco the other day, I saw that Costco offered 15% off services at local repair places. There was a big repair (so I thought) that a auto place in golden valley had said I needed new transmission mounts because they were rusting away.When I looked up the places that the Costco 15% worked at, I saw BAM come up. They were super helpful making the appointment and even got my info ahead of time to save time the day of.They took a look at my transmission mounts and even had me out there to show me that they were actually just fine and the other shop was just trying to charge me for some pointless work.While out there, I pointed out a do it myself exhaust job I recently did and they offered to weld it professionally for just a half hour of labor.I m so happy with the BAM service, honesty and transparency that I will for sure be back. I highly recommend them.

5 STARSThe Minnetonka facility is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable professionals, and the waiting area is clean and welcoming! We found the approach of how they shared recommendations based on urgency and our budget to be excellent and appreciated the advice on what we should do to get a longer life from our 2013 Acadia.

I was not happy about the oil spot on my garage floor the next day. This has never happened to me before using Bam. Please inform your staff to make sure they grab some paper towels and wipe down any areas that might hold used oil when they are finished. It would even be better, if they would use some solvent and really do some cleaning. PS: the cost has really gone up on oil changesService: Oil change

Austin is personable and professional and I definitely trust BAM with my car! I got referred by my mom who also loves taking her vehicles in to BAM. Highly recommend for anything you need. I took my Mazda in for an oil change and service check. I was given a quote for suggested service in the future and the oil change was nice and quick. There was no pressure to add any service right away, which made it a comfortable experience. Thanks again BAM!Service: Oil change

Great people at this shop! Austin and Brady were both very informative about my car, which I appreciated greatly, as it's about 22 years old! Will be going back for any other fixes or just an oil change. Good prices! BAM Automotive always provides the best service. My car is over 15 years old, and I need it to keep running for as long as possible. BAM continues to identify issues with my car and make the necessary repairs. Every time I drive away from their shop, my car performs as if it's brand new. I also appreciate that they make me aware of appropriate maintenance that may be necessary in the coming months so I can plan accordingly and not get blindsided by an emergency repair situation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Austin & Brady are top notch professionals.
