I came here because of all the great reviews.. only to find out that if your new to this part of the world, nothing good I heard happen. I went in October 2023 needing a car, my father just died in dec 2022 so this was my first car on my own without my father weighing in. I didn t think mentioning this was going to set me up for what I can only see as a scam.. he took my down payment and drew up a contract and sold me the car that his mechanic has been driving. I even mentioned the tires to him and he proceeded to tell me that their are good to go. Ever since I bought it didn t feel reliable or even run good, but I tried to believe in the goodness of people that is in this area.. I took my car in to tires plus to get it looked over. 3 months after I bought it, only to find out that not only is it unsafe to drive, there is literally a list of problems and a tick in the engine as well as leaking oil and 2 different places couldn t tell me from where. So I called the place, because I was told by multiple people that if something goes wrong with the car, that he will trade it out for me, like he has done many many people in this area he knew I was new to the area, when I called the office, I let him know everything and while I have no more options because I gave him all my money saved for a down payment, his first solution was for me to give back the car and go somewhere else. I didn t want to do that. I wanted to purchase a reliable car and receive the care that he takes in this situation. He has been avoiding me for 2.5 weeks while I have this car that has wire showing on the tires on the inside of them, when I asked and it s unsafe to drive and it shakes when I go over 50 the only option he has created is the one he wanted. Even though it s the middle of winter and does he care? Not for my situation no this is why it seems like he only finds a solution for people of this community, to save his name and so forth well I m new here and I m staying.. he has literally been avoiding me and leaving me with this car that he knew was not safe to drive to ME it feels like he seen a quick way to take someone s money and then leave me high and dry when the car starting showing its true colors. I haven t felt like this car has been reliable since I got it.. so I only drove around Marshall since oct 2023. I took a couple trips to Montevideo and Canby other than that I treated this car as if I didn t have one, because I knew something was wrong with it when I went and got the oil changed for the first time.. it has a tick and runs crappy and the receptionist said to me 2 weeks ago, that she would get started on trading the vehicle for another one near the same price. And I call and call. I get told I ll get called back but I don t. There is clearly no solution he wasn t to work out or else it would of been by now. Avoiding me just proves that he knows that he is in the wrong.. what really gets me is him KNOWING I was nervous about my first car after my dads passed and he said, I understand your situation and then took advantage of it. Really sucks

Today I had a customer (I own an auto repair facility) who regretfully had an issue with their recently purchased car. Countryside Auto stepped up and took care of him, which is so extremely rare for me to see. If you are looking for a car I would talk to these guys because the statement that taking responsibility makes about Country Side's integrity is worth a lot. Believe me when I say issues with recently purchased cars does happen, however a seller being accountable almost never does!! Again I was very impressed

I have been looking for the perfect car. We stopped on a Sunday to see what they had and I found my perfect car there, well they were closed so we called Nancy cell phone and she came there on a Sunday so I could test drive it. Awesome place and awesome people.
