Van and his team have taken excellent care of our cars for the last 15 years. He is honest, does great work, and gets things done in a timely manner. I always trust him w/ what he recommends and his rates are reasonable. All our kids now bring their cars to him!Highly recommend this trustworthy automotive repair group!

Took my 4runner in to get an estimate on extracting 2 broken bolts. The broken bolts are the sway bar bushing bolts that are bolted to the rear axle housing. Took the car in and was told they get back to me in a few hrs. They never did and were left there overnight. Fine, I don't have an issue the next morning got a call from them to pick it up. the job was done and they put on 2 new bolts also. I'm here thinking the swaybar itself is not even on the car. Cut it short went there paid $60 went to the car looked underneath the broken bolts still there. With the language barrier not even sure what they worked on he told me he took a bolt off and put a new one. They took the car in and raised it up and I pointed it out to them they say ok took 30mins and charged me $80 and I asked about the $60 they charged me for something I didn't ask I was told they did the job they have to charge. I don't know how clear I had to state the work needed on their paper but if they didn't understand they could've called and I went for an estimate and never got an estimate. Never going back!

I have been coming here for MANY years , I ve had everything done from a timing chain , water pump & timing belt , wheel bearings , oil changes and more on different vehicles. I ve NEVER had any issues with any of the repairs or any complaints what so ever . Thank you Vans automotive for the top tier service!

This is the best Automotive service shop ever in the Twin City. The guy would repair every single gear in your car to make sure your car run like new again. And the price is much more affordable than any dealer out there that would charge you a heck amount of money.

I wouldn't take my car back to this place. They don't diagnose your car correctly. It's more like process of elimination. Paid for work and my car still has the same noise from the start and now my headlights don't work. Stop back in and owner denied any wrong doings and had plenty of excuses. Knowing he was paid a job and didn't fix my car. I do not recommend this auto place if you want your car fix

Van's got me in on a Saturday with no appointment to get my alternator replaced, they got me in and out and on the road same day, for very much a fair price.Minnesota, Saturdays pretty much every repair shop is closed, the few that are open: fully booked, but Van's took time to get me in and get everything fixed, and based on waiting I could tell they were also pretty booked because they had cars going in and out the entire time.They checked on me throughout my visit to make sure I was comfortable, and had anything I needed, and they were all very polite and nice. Absolutely great workers, absolutely great repair shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very nice guy, I texted him on a day he was closed to get a price for fixing my Jeep and he got back to me the same day, and the price was very reasonable.

Got my wheel bearings pressed quickly and affordable! After a whole day of calling shops and getting ridiculous $340 labor only quotes...vans is the best!!!

We ve been taking our cars to vans for 5+ years now and have always had good experiences. He takes good care of his customers- he s genuine, does excellent work and has really fair and affordable prices (he s not like the stereotypical mechanic who takes advantage and overcharges!). He gets the work done promptly and does a good job. His sense of humor is a bonus! Great customer service. Brought 2 cars to them recently and they were able to get what I needed done in the same day. Appears to be quality work and fair prices. Funny front end guy too. Definitely will go to them again.

Don't let the modest look of this shop fool you. The look is modest but the service is First Class! Van knows cars and is very friendly and professional. I brought my Honda Odyssey there for a timing chain replacement job and to be honest, I had reservation at first but I walked away a very satisfied customer and will definitely recommend this place to my friends and relatives. Van provides top notch quality, trust worthy service at a very reasonable price. A rare gem in Brooklyn Center!Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are Awesome! We've used them several times. Always reasonable rates! They have done Brakes, fixed a tire and replaced a starter for us. Van even noticed the bumper hanging down this last time and fixed it without charging anything extra! Great service!!!

This is a shop you can truly trust that you're being well taken care of. They're not out there to trick you or take advantage of you like other shops, they're very honest. As far as skill level, they can fix pretty much anything and even do custom work. The service is very friendly and genuine. I can definitely see myself hanging out with Van...really cool, fun, and honest guy.

Pros: I'm grateful I was able to make a same-day appointment with a quick turnaround time, they had enough staff on hand to tackle two vehicles at a time as well as someone being able to step away to help customers.Cons: Could use some improvement on phone etiquette, specifics of repair weren't discussed so I'm not even sure if what I paid was fair or not, and I kept getting bugged about whether the card I was trying to use was legitimate through comments, questions, and physical tests.Update: Not sure how I'm not on record as having even been there since I have a credit card statement that could prove I was. I'm guessing there was an input error or systematic error.

Excellent work done in a timely manner. Been to this auto shop twice, May 2019 for break lines, Feb 2020 for front and rear break pads. Both work done within an hour with better pricing than most auto shops I've asked to give me an estimate. I will 100% return for quick fixes.

Rarely do you find not only a truly honest mechanic, but a kind-hearted, funny, and professional one. Fast, excellent service if you need a simple fix. I've never been more impressed and thankful that this little auto shop is in my neighborhood. Quick, quality service with a great sense of humor. These guys do a wonderful job fixing up my old hand my down truck and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was up and working before I drove off. Thanks to all the guys and Van at Van's Auto.

Absolutely honest and incredibly wonderful shop! The power steering pump on my wifes car had suddenly gone out; it was 2 weeks before Christmas and we had no money, but brought it in for an estimate so we would know what we would have to save to get it fixed. Van fixed it for us because it would've been much worse to let it go on the way it was. He told us not to worry and pay whenever we could. I have indeed paid him and because he does great work at a very reasonable price, I continue bringing my vehicles only to his shop to be worked on. Seriously,these guys are really the very best around! God bless them!

They do excellent work and fast. Best experience that I have had at a repair place. I will always bring my car to this place for service. My Lexus was purring like a kitten when they got finished. Quiet and smooth riding.

So happy to have this shop for my vehicle repairs! Van was able to get my car in for service quickly and the diagnostic/repair done within one business day. Super friendly and personable service! I'll be back again.
