I ordinarily never do reviews, but in this case, I don t mind at all, I ve been going to the same Valvoline location, in Minneapolis, for nine years now, and I live in St. Paul, which has locations and other companies to do the same service. I only go to this specific location, because, they ve always given me the most consistent service, information, discounts, great attitudes, and consistency of work and always great results for my vehicle. I started going to Valvoline after trying many other brands, I had 21,000 miles on my car when I bought it, I took it to Valvoline at 23,000, and now my car has 103,750 miles on it, and it runs like a top. I also get my wiper blades there that last for a long time , and they always have the interior filter for my model of car, which I change quite frequently. What more can I say, great service, excellent employees, great products, and satisfaction. Thanks very much. Andre F.

Let me start off my saying that 1) I had been here before to get my oil changed with no issues, and 2) I never leave 1-star reviews because there s usually an explanation or reason for less than stellar service and typically not the staff s fault. BUT. I stopped by 30 minutes before close knowing there was a chance they wouldn t be taking any more customers for the night, but when I arrived the sign said please wait, one of our staff will guide you in so what did I do? I waited, blocking the sidewalk like an idiot assuming someone would come out soon. Well the minutes kept passing, and I could see staff glancing my way between servicing the other cars and I kept thinking surely, someone will come out soon to talk to me or tell me no more customers for the night (also for context, my phone was dead so I couldn t call). 30 minutes go by and it s now closing time, but I thought hey, they ve seen me sitting here by the please wait sign for half an hour, someone will definitely come out now to change the sign, and they might be able to squeeze me in. Another 10 minutes go by, the last car inside leaves, the staff look at me one more time, then TURN OFF ALL THE LIGHTS and disappear. I couldn t believe it. I ve never been so upset by staff treatment of a customer this like before (coming from a former-service-industry millennial and not some angry entitled old boomer).

The staff was very kind & the price was right! I loved how they went the extra mile to check all the fluids & tires, AND top off my windshield wiper fluid NC!

Fast service, convenient location, plus friendly, and knowledgeable staff make this location a winner in my books. 8n fact if you can't change your own oil, then I would recommend letting these guys and girls do it!

Tech lied about filling my tire and told me that the tire pressure light turns off once I get moving because it s cold out. I fill my tire almost daily, I know that s not how it works.

Waited for 45 minutes in line. It didn't move. Lame. Two guys standing by back door talking casually. For 15 minutes. At 4:00. With a line. They close at 5. If there's a line, don't bother...fail

Showed up and wasted half hour in line and someone showed up 10 mins later and still ended up getting into the garage before me. Which was unfair as I showed up and been waiting way longer. Had kids and pregnant at time. Horrible service as they were told to go ahead of me and I was told to back up and let them since that s how the line goes. Which didn t make sense a worker came out and made us move so he could get his car out so I got stuck in the longer line once that happened.Service: Oil change

Caesar and Chevy helped me find a different coupon when the one I came in with did work for some reason. didn t have to do that and I really appreciated the kind service.

So I came here I wanna say within the last month. They upsold me on a new air filter. They were having a hard time getting it in so they had to remove the hose further down the line to get it in. Well the clamp holding that line down was never tightened again, essentially bypassing the new filter they just threw in. Since then my engine has been running dirty until finally my spark plugs started acting up and my engine misfiring. Soooo. Needless to say I found this error at the start of a 4 hour repair that is likely the result of these guys negligence go somewhere else.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I brought my truck in and they stripped the bolts on my splash guard. They did not tell me, in fact they said everything went back together fine.. Appears to be laziness as it is not hard to put 4 bolts in. Will not return.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Very dishonest location. Will not be going back and I would not recommend you ever go there.Called up and their phone system said it was less than 20 minute wait. Got there and there were 5 cars in front of me. Called back, and it still said less than 20 minute wait. *It took an average of 20 minutes PER CAR* Well over 1 1/2 hours just waiting.While waiting in line, I called the location and talked to one of the employees. Asked how long the wait would be. You guessed it. They said "20 minutes" even though they could see all the cars waiting

Great service. Very thorough inspection and as a result, ended up with a new battery and filters. We are a 1 car family and my wife drives a lot so their attention to detail affords us peace of mind.

One of the dudes called me ugly but the only woman on staff there told him to shut the f up so that was cool. They told me I needed a new battery when I didn t. Got new oil though so that was nice. Probably not coming back here unless I m too lazy to drive to the suburbs.

Great service, helpful to tourists as well. I wish it had a bit more room for cats to line up in back. I had to back up and away to let a person from an adjoined property out.Also I wish they offered to do things like check tire pressure and other fluids.But I got what I needed and they were nice so it's ok!

During the recent freezing weather, the air in my tires was pretty low, with one almost completely flat. Because of the cold, I wasn't able to fix it myself, so I stopped here to see if they could help. I got in and within 5 minutes they had filled all my tires and sent me on my way. They were so incredibly helpful and nice, even though it was just a little fix!! Would highly recommend.Service: Tires

One of their computers went down and it got hectic and they were pretty behind, Will one of the workers came up and had the conversation with me and others and let us know what was going on, he had us move around and go in order in one line from the two we were in. He handled it very professional and kept his calm while in stressful situation. It took me about an hour or so to get in a bay but the way he communicated and handled it made my wait less stressful for myself. The whole crew did great and had a hustle. I wouldn't had them do my air conditioner in my vehicle paid a hundred eighty bucks and still have no air I would love to have my cuz I feel as if I was ripped off not satisfied at all 30-day warranty and I took the vehicle back and they pretty much looked at me like I was crazy an offer pretty much nothing set in line ran my gas out for hour and a half to get up there for them to tell me it's nothing they could do. I won't be going back there .

These guys kill it every. single. time. I've gotten countless oil changes at this Valvoline and the employees are stellar - they're very friendly and provide advice when needed. I so appreciate the help I've gotten here!They work ever so diligently to get you in and get you out. There is typically a longer wait due to only having two bays, but it's worth it each time (and you have to remember they're servicing a ton of Uptown and Downtown clients since they're in such a convenient location!).They also always have coupons online to use!

Seemingly long lines, but it's actually just a small lot with limited capacity that also happens to be on a busy road. Four cars in front of me took 40 minutes to get to the front so 10min per car is good service imo. Any faster and I would be concerned! The service team was in-sync and efficient. No appointments so you should pick a day you can afford to patiently wait.

Family's had good experiences here. No sketchy stuff like I hear happens at other places. They've even kindly turned us away once instead of upselling or overcharging for services not yet needed on the vehicle. Bring stuff to do in the car & try not to come at peak traffic times or you'll have to wait in line behind a few other cars.

They do 30 minutes oil change per car.If 3 cars are ahead of you, that s 1 hour and 30 minutes wait.Management don t care about improving speed or quality. I don t know who keep responding here that things will improve but it has been 2 years since I ve found out about this oil change place. Nothing has improved. Don t come here.

Very inefficient and long wait. Couldn t give me a receipt and the window cling had the wrong service date on it even though I supposedly purchased the high mileage oil leaves me to wonder.

It took 45 minutes to change my oil once I entered the bay area. Lots of people standing around, not sure if they topped off fluids or not. Four of the employees stood around and compared how long their arms were to each other. Appeared to have no one in charge to train or teach these younger workers what to do. Maybe the place needs better training or more supervision. This business needs to step it up. Employees arm length is not going to repair my engine if the oil change is not done correctly.Service: Oil change

Great place, the team is friendly, professional and efficient. They call out everything they're doing to the other team members so everyone is on the same page, and one of them explained it helps them be thorough to make sure everything is done and done right but that it also helps the customer know too. I'm definitely coming back here.If you go there'll probably be a wait, you're maybe gonna sit there for a bit, but it's worth it cause the value is good and you know they're doing their job correctly and checking more than just the oil, and the reason you're waiting is because everyone else knows this is the right place to go too.
