Do not, do not, do not buy from this place unless you get a grace period to have the vehicle double checked from a trusted mechanic!Very disappointed. I bought a car from them last week. Shortly after leaving, the check engine light came on. I have it at my mechanic's and they tell me this most likely was known and simply cleared. Part of the engine is held together by electrical tape. Loose wire just hanging around. None of this was disclosed, but they made sure to bring attention to "this car is being sold as is". This should have been a red flag.

They did not disclose the issue with the locks on the car when they sold it to me yesterday, and so the car is unable to be secured. When I asked to test drive the car I couldn't get the key to turn and she "helped" and said it worked just fine for her. Low and behold, the doors were NEVER locked. They still can not lock. You can only lock the doors when inside the car. They gave me three keys, and only one is the actual key for the car, specifically the engine key, as the door key and the key fob key do not function. I'm also noticing that the brakes/wheels wobble on the high way now that I am fully driving the car the next day. This was also no disclosed at sale.The cars are cheap, if you're in a pinch, but the sales people are shady and will lie to you about the vehicles condition. "Runs great" to them just means the engine turns on. Not that you can safely drive it.

Buyers beware!!! We purchased a car and it had a head gasket problem. My mechanic said they were aware of the problem prior to selling us the carin his opinion! We only had the car for 1 day before it started leaking anti freeze. We contacted Ulrich salesman who sold us the car for a refund or even a portion of a refund and he refused!! I will never purchase a car from these people again! Very disappointed If you plan to buy car them put a cooling off period or continguecy statement in place!!!

Kaitlyn is great ! I was looking at a few of the quarter tons they have and she was able to answer all my questions and was able to set up a time to come and look at them in person, that worked with my schedule. Was able to show history on the trucks and had great knowledge of other inventory on the lot. As of course a lot of other cars had my attention once I was able to see them in person.

Don t waste your time. Called twice the day of to test drive a vehicle, one of the phone calls being an hour before arrival. Between that phone call and getting there, the car had sold- conveniently not to mention we drove over 2 hours to drive there.

They did my dad dirty. He left a deposit wanting a vehicle stating he was going to come back and my dad and the owner had agreed on it. My dad comes back and apparently they had sold the car. They kept making excuses and trying to put the blame on my dad. Super unprofessional. Don t waste your money on this place.

We had a great experience this afternoon when we went to Ulrich Motors - the staff left us alone to walk around the lot, and when we asked for keys to a Ford F-150 they gave them to us (in exchange for a driver s license). When we decided to purchase the truck (which was listed about $3000 lower than Carfax), Mark took us through the history of the vehicle pricing and didn t pressure us at all. We completed all paperwork in about 20 min, wrote them a check, and left with our beautiful truck.This place doesn t fit the narrative of the typical used car lot. Would definitely recommend.

Drove two hours to look at a van. They are honest car sellers! Description was accurate, and we took it for a spin. Ran like a dream, so I bought the van. 5 stars, would buy another vehicle here!

Bought a car from them last year cause my dad recommended them. 3 days after having it the alternator went out, my dad called and they wasn't willing to fix it so I did. Now a year later I have had nothing but problems from this car. Electrical problems, bad brakes, rotors and wheel hub. Ive spent almost the same amount that i paid for the car to get it back up and running and its still not working properly. I would not recommend them to nobody. I don't feel safe driving my kids in this car

Great car buying experience! This young lady was super nice and attentive, believe her name was Kaitlyn. She answered all the questions I had about a few vehicles and helped me figure out what vehicle best fit me and I couldn't be happier with my (new to me) Honda Accord! Thanks Ulrich motors!

Haven't been here yet but called about a car few days ago, figured I'd hop on and check reviews and yikes. As for the owners responses they are nice but multiple people need new engines after few days of purchase? Sounds to me the customers should be demanding 30 day warranties with every purchase. Sick of seeing auto shops trading in customer loyalty for an opportunity.

Would give a 0 if possible. Sold us an unsafe car. Went to get oil change right away after buying and the mechanic shop said the car was so unsafe they didn t want us driving it. We tried working with them to take the car back or at least fix the issues they refused. Now having to put $1,500+ into it right away. Not honest at all. They will sell you a lemon. Go somewhere else.

My grandfather bought a vehicle from this place decades ago and always recommended me to buy a car from here. I sold my truck for a profit (crazy) and bought a 2008 Chevy Malibu for about 3 grand.This was back in July. The car is still running well and hasn t deteriorated any over the course of the last 7 or so months. Starts great in the winter, hot heat, and just reliable, cheap transport to and from work.I recommend these guys

My son was looking for a cheap car. Mark was great. He was very candid in his assessment of which cars would be a good fit for us. As the cars are sold "As is" we did a Carfax and a pre-purchase inspection. It was low pressure, and they were always super nice. I don't feel like we got the best deal in the world, but we weren't robbed either. It felt like nice people trying to make an honest profit. Nothing wrong with that.

If you don't understand cars, don't go here. You might get a great deal, or you might get a lemon. Ulrich's is a budget lot through and through, but they're honest, and they'll not boss you around. I had a good experience with Mark, and when he called a few days later to get my address he asked how the truck was driving. A lot of the bad reviews for Ulrich's are written by people who knew there wasn't a warranty on their vehicle but got frustrated anyways when the car died on them. There is inherent risk with basically all the cars on this lot

If I could give less than that I would. My father in-law drove 4 hours there and 4 hours home just to look at a land cruiser they had and offer in trade his f-j cruiser in showroom shape. After seeing it and commenting on its excellent condition they had the audacity to wait till after he test drove the land cruiser and fell in love with it that they weren't interested in his f-j. NOT A LOW BALL OFFER JUST PLAIN NOT INTERESTED in his car. Just plain rude to do to a 70 year old man. They didn't even offer to reimburse his fuel for the trip... they should be ashamed of themselves.

I recently just bought a Kia Soul from this dealership and it was great! Exactly what was pictured online, they weren t pushy when it came to me looking at the car. They answered all of my questions about the car honestly and truthfully without hesitation. The car I bought has all the little due dads and more which is great for a youngster who is just purchasing their first car.Just added about two thousand miles to this car and it s still chugging along just great at 107,000 miles. Personally would recommend this dealership to anybody in need of a vehicle, they have really affordable prices and they make you feel comfortable and not pressured like other dealerships.They even let me test drive it on my own, which is nice because I was able to test out pretty much everything on the car without feeling uncomfortable. Honestly this is a great dealership for someone who is just getting their first car.Thanks for the great vehicle.!

Called this dealer before coming to look at a vehicle. I was told the car ran great, looked great, and the only item worth noting was that the front fender was not the original color (repainted for some reason). Went to go look at the car and it looked just like the photos and seemed to be in good shape. It was raining at the time and had been raining all day. We realized the passenger side windows were open and that the car was flooded. It had standing water in the carpet and the door panel pockets were full of water. Okay well I decided to drive the car to see if its something I liked in general (already decided I am not buying this). The entire front end was rattling (bad tie bars, sway bars, suspension) I don't know but it was obvious it needed serious attention. I then gave it gas to accelerate and heard some serious metal on metal sheering noises from below my seat. I turned it around asap and explained everything to the dealer and all he could say was "sorry bout that." no care that his original comment over the phone lead me to waste 2 hrs of my day. Waste of time I am sure everything in that lot is garbage!

I went in to buy a truck that I saw online. That weekend also had a huge sale so I went in to drive it away. The owner's son, who also works there, had it as his personal vehicle for the weekend. They asked me to come back on Monday, which so happens to be after the huge weekend sale. I didn't. The salesman seemed genuinely disappointed as it was an easy sale, but he made it sound as though it happens all the time.

Called about a vehicle that was $1988 but needed new tires, so I offered $1500 cash. I was told no, they don't negotiate, it would sell for more than $1988 at the end of the month at auction. At the end of the month, it still wasn't sold, and it was priced down to $988. Moral of the story, I won't be looking for vehicles here ever again.

7 days after we bought the car, transmission went out!! My 17 year old daughter barely got off the freeway. Offered to allow me to use for a trade in at 2700.00 less than we bought it for. Very sleazy operation. Stay away!!

I bought a $2k sedan from them and at the time of sale it was drivable, but a couple of months later I found out it wasn't even safe to drive and it's ended up costing me over $3k in repairs so far. Every shop that sees it is surprised they got away with selling it in this condition. They also are "the only dealership in MN that doesn't haggle" which is an absolute rip off. Beware!!!Update: I've now heard from multiple people who have had very similar experiences. One had their battery tied in with zip ties!

They have little to no integrity or regards for their customers. Save yourself the hassle. I live quite a ways out of town so I called the morning I was planning on coming to make sure they still had the car I was looking at which they assured me they did. Upon my arrival after an hour drive, they informed me that the car I was interested in had been sold 3 days prior. They then tried to sell me an absolute junker under the pretense of it being a safe, durable car. When I took it for a test drive, I could hear a screeching noise coming from the car along with its inconsistency accelerations. At least their office has air conditioning.

Horrible service, horrible maintenance on vehicles, and most importantly, liars that will rip you off. 2010 Ram 1500 for 15 thousand and they said everything works. 4 Wheel Drive was screwed up. Broken transmission and driveshaft. 0/5 stars for this place. Don t ever buy from here.

Be careful to have any car looked over by a mechanic of your choice before you buy anything. It was an unfortunate experience but only cost me a little time.. Too bad .. Thought it was going to be a better business than what it was.. The employees were nice tho : )

I did a pre purchase inspection, prior to purchasing a vehicle from here, not many problems but three tire pressure monitor sensors were malfunctioning. The car salesman promised to provide me with them and to call me when they got them. I finalized the purchase of the car expecting the salesman to go through with his word, and yet after 5 months now, I ve yet to even receive a call. I stopped by there two months ago to check up on what the hold up was, the salesman that sold me the car was rude and unprofessional telling me excuse after excuse as to why there sorry excuse of a dealership couldn t go through with their word.Normally I don t do google reviews, I think it s a waste of time. But the utter disrespect and lack of quality customer service that I ve received leads me to think that they don t actually know how to do their jobs.As if matters couldn t be worse, I received a flat tire on the tire that didn t have a TPM sensor three weeks ago, when I tried to replace the tire with the spare they provided for me, that was flat as well. When I called them to see how it was going in regards to the TPM sensors, they talked to me like they didn t even know what was going on.Would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. This is a terrible business if you can call it that.
