Great shop, friendly, fast. and reasonable pricing. Grateful for this company! I accidentally left my car open overnight and someone riffled through everything looking for valuables (there weren't any) and they broke off the lever that controls my turn signal. I went to one shop nearer to where I live and they quoted me $745. TT was able to do it for $220 plus $89 diagnostic to ensure no damage to the ignition. As a solo parent, I'm grateful for every dollar I can save. And being able to rent out a loaner car for the shop was very helpful and again saved me quite a bit on not having to rent through a rental car company. Love Turbo Tim's! Can't wait for the car smashing in the Spring at the Art-A-Whirl event!

The guys working at Turbo Tim's were very friendly and helped me understand what was going on with my car. They gave me an honest opinion, and that's really hard to find with mechanics! Their diagnostic prices are very reasonable and they were quick to get it done! If you need a mechanic, this definitely the place to go!

I really appreciate and enjoyed my experience with Turbo Tim s. I visited them for a post purchase inspection. They provided notes, videos, and solutions to the issues they found on the vehicle all in a few hours! I was able to bring the vehicle back to the dealership I bought it from and implement the advice they gave me. Special shoutout to Martin for making the process so seamless for me. Absolute scam artists.im am not a "dont trust mechanics" guy but do not trust these mechanics. i went in with an issue with my air suspension system. they assured me they were very familiar with this system. dropped it off for diagnostics and when i went to pick it up they had a quote for around $8,000. Told me i pretty much have to replace most of the system. I took my car and went home. everything was functioning correctly, there just was a fault code on the dash.jump ahead to me bringing to another mechanic. he showed me the tablet with the trouble code. it was a faulty sensor for the compressor temperature. a $50 part. it was clear as day to a mechanic what was wrong with the system. the sensor was poorly sealed and had shorted out. one bolt and one plug.edit: oh sorry. one more thing. a very slow leak in one of the front struts that was fixed by replacing a set of plastic fittings with o-rings that are a known issue.i know at one time this was a respected shop but something changed at some point. nothing short of scam artists.

I got my vehicle back really quickly. They explained the repairs to me really well, so that I understood why I need them and how it was done and the time it would take. They took the time to speak to my warranty company and get all repairs approved and paid for. Love TurboTims and the kitties.

Although no one is happy when they need to pay for car repairs, Turbo Tim's makes the experience as enjoyable as it can possibly be. I've known about this NE neighborhood gem for years, but with my super reliable Prius, I've previously had no need of their services. Well, my 2005 finally needed a bit of work done. Pricing is fair, and for at least one item that needed attention it was even better than another place I received a quote from. They have an online system that shows you which repairs need immediate attention, which could wait and which things are fine. The system is easy to use and allows for a wonderful level of clarity and transparency that I've never experienced before in a repair shop. They texted me updates about my car, and even reached out to me after I picked it up to let me know that the battery I still needed for my key fob had come it. I was super impressed with that kind of follow-up. The staff are personable and hip, but down to earth, best of all worlds. There are cats everywhere and they are hip characters too. You can spend time ogling the gorgeous fish tanks with your new cat friends. NE shop also features some cool art by local NE artists. Hands down best car repair experience I've had! Not going anywhere else ever again.

Highly recommend. Estimate included pictures, details on what was wrong and if it needed to be repaired at this time. Service was above and beyond. Best part was knowing that my car was getting fixed properly and it didn t cost an arm and a leg.

Love this spot, so glad I found it. They send you a list of all recommended work, breaking down prices, and then let you pick what you want done and don't. I wanted to try to do some of the work myself and they gave me their opinions and never once pressured me to do anything. Will be a repeat customer for sure. All the staff has been nothing short of friendly, personal and professional.

I 100% recommend Turbo Tim's for all of your auto repair needs! I don't think I'll be going anywhere else from here on out!I brought my van in for an inspection and transmission service. It turned out that we had a much bigger job on our hands than expected. It turned out that there had been a poorly done repair to the transmission before I purchased the vehicle. We ended up needing a rebuilt transmission. We thought it would be an easier and more affordable fix at first. The staff was so wonderful and understanding as we tried to navigate getting financing to cover the repairs. They were very helpful as we tried to figure out what we could afford to do to get back on the street. The service staff ran numerous quotes for us to give us every possible option for what we could afford to do. After A LOT of back and forth we finally got our financing figured out and got a rebuilt transmission installed. I 100% recommend Turbo Tim's! They are fantastic and extremely helpful and down to earth. They never pressured our decision process along the way. They gave us all the facts straight up and I appreciate them greatly. I'm very happy to have my van back and running well. If you need car repairs in the twin cities, put your trust in Turbo Tim's, they're the best. I will go to them for any repairs that I can't handle at home from her on out.

They were very nice and accommodating. They were busy the week I booked and asked if I would be able to reschedule, but when I said I was hoping to get the work done ASAP, they kept my appointment with no questions. The price for changing my oil AND a thorough scan of issues in my car was less than I paid last time I got my oil changed at a big oil change chain. They were happy to elaborate on any issues that they found in that check-up and didn t make me feel like I was being taken advantage of as a woman going in by myself, which is the biggest thing I look for when taking my car in to get worked on. Overall it was a great experience and I will be taking my car there for oil changes from now on! The cats are just a plus.

The people are incredible. I really feel like everybody I talked to cared and wanted to help and fix what was necessary. It was important for them that we were informed every step of the way.They send a full analysis of what you need, and what to consider moving forward. The prices were extremely fair.Having a local business you can trust to ensure your safety is really important to me so finding Turbo Tims was a godsend.We brought our car in around 10am, had a full diagnostic report by 12, approved a full radiator replacement, and the car was ready by 4:30 the same day.On top of all of that, they are a business with a culture, and that culture is cats. I would say it's worth it to even get your oil checked just to hang out with some amazing cats.It's weird to say that I'm excited for our next check up but I am. I feel safe to bring our vehicle to a place where they care.

Turbo Tim s took my car maintenance and repairs, what are can usually stressful situations for me, and turned it all into a quick, convenient and smooth process. I didn t feel like I was being talked down to or lectured either which was a major bonus! I had extensive work that needed completing, yet the total costs were not unreasonable. My car is running smoothly, and I couldn t be more pleased. I will definitely be utilizing them in the future!

Turbo Tim s Anything Automotive did a fantastic job with my car. It s worth getting the bumper sticker for 10% off up to $200. Everything about this place is cool - the chill staff, the massive saltwater aquarium, the cats, you name it! I did find a cat toy in my car that I brought back to the front desk before driving away, so it s worth taking a look in the back seat before you leave.

I ve been doing the majority of my vehicle service with Turbo Tim s for almost 8 years. They have consistently been kind, thoughtful, and honest. Most of the team is still there which says a lot about what kind of company they are. And if ever there has been problem they have always made it right. Turbo Tim s really cares about delivering great service and they are a team you can trust, they will help you navigate the complicated world of vehicle maintenance!

I have been a customer for over 15 years. They do quality work and will work with you to make sure you drive away happy. I have a pt cruiser and long story short getting certain parts can be very hard. they scoured theplanet to get me a computer that worked! I think they tried 3-4! They went above and beyond to get my car back to me! I must mention they had my car for months trying to get a working computer and I am very grateful they had a loaner car I could use that entire time free of charge. What other shop does this?! Plus you get a 10% discount for having one of their bumper stickers on your car!

Turbo Tim's was absolutely amazing! It took them just a few hours to figure out what another mechanic had been unable to repair (for 2 months), and they walked me through every step of the way. Their online system to show the inspection report is brilliant, and I'll definitely be bringing my vehicle here from now on.

This place is great. I've mostly gotten oil changes and other minor work done here, but it's a good experience every time. I trust that they give me honest advice. The oil changes come with a free inspection, and the report that comes with it has photos of everything they check, and in my case have often come back clean, ie they aren't trying to make me get extra services.Scheduling is easy and they are very responsive by text, which is nice. I usually just leave my car, as I live close, and I've never had an issue with the service getting completed on time, being told promptly when it's done, etc.

Turbo Tim's did a wonderful job explaining, discussing, and working with me to fix the oil leaks and other issues with my aging 2006 Pontiac G6 that I'd like to keep for at least another 3-5 years. They helped me determine what should be fixed sooner as well as what could wait for monitoring and assessment after the initial repairs I requested were complete. Their digital system, pictures, and communication were top notch. The repairs themselves were pricey, but in line with the local competition (and definitely less expensive and better than a car payment!). They were patient and understanding of all of my questions and did a great job with all of the repairs. Thanks y'all!

I am so beyond happy with my service here! I honestly came for the cats, but was blown away by how thorough and helpful the entire team was. I had a weird problem with my card USB ports that the dealership was going to charge nearly $300 just to diagnose. I got my oil changed, my entire car inspected (complete with detailed notes and pictures), the problem figured out, and repaired, all in about a day for under $500! The team was great about communicating everything to me the entire time as well. I will absolutely be coming back and have already told all my local friends to go here as well.

My new car had some hidden damage and ended up overheating. I got the radiator issues fixed at a different shop and asked them to rule out additional damage. They did some basic checks and got the car back to me, told me it was fine. But it wasn't driving fine. Took it to turbo Tim's for some additional troubleshooting and they narrowed it down to the injectors, told me that before I spend money on replacing them, I should run a 15 dollar bottle of injector cleaner and see if it fixes the issue. Lo and behold, it fixed the issue. I could've spent 2500 on new injectors, but the recommendation from turbo Tim's saved me that money. They seem like good dudes. And their testing gives you in-depth info unlike a lot of other shops. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. I had an oil change scheduled for one day, I get in and they told me it would take at least 3 hours to get it in because of how busy they were. I didn t have anyone to give me a ride anywhere, they offered me a Lyft ride for free anywhere I d like which was awesome, but I lived 30 minutes away. He told me that was no problem and that if I wanted I could reschedule or cancel there would be no fees. Rescheduled for a week later and when I arrived, he said they were super busy again but he would try to get them to fit it in as soon as possible. I didn t expect it to be quick, but was fine since I had a ride that day. Took 2 hours and got a text saying it was ready! Was expecting a longer wait so I was very happy. They even sent me a whole report on what they found, a lot more extensive than any other shop I ve been to and SUPER easy to turn down any services I didn't want. No pressure, no hassle, very efficient, and everyone was so nice! Even got 10% off for putting a Turbo Tim s sticker on my car. 110% will be going back and recommending this place to anyone and everyone!Service: Oil change

The techs explained things in a way that was easy to understand, were transparent and eased my anxieties - I drive for work and am reliant on my vehicle. I liked their online platform and their easy communication via text; that was really nice. The process was just really smooth. However, the cost of services (namely labor) are twice as much as at other shops. I was quoted $2100 to repair a heater core when two other shops quoted me for $1200 and $1050. I am new to the Twin Cities and was hoping this could be my new go-to mechanic, but I ll be going someplace else where the cost is more reasonable and fair.

I'm conflicted with this one. Wanted to give them a try since every time I go to Bobby and Steve's for an oil change they always seem to find something wrong. Turbo Tim's was extremely receptive when I told them I have someone who does work on my truck (its just not worth an hours drive when I just need an oil change). Overall I think they know what they're doing and they are very nice and helpful, but my oil change was pretty expensive... and they didn't even fill my tires with air, which I thought was included?

Got my oil changed here and they did a checkup, also told me my tire rods needed replacement. They explained how it was causing my front wheels to be harder to steer (something I have noticed, but hadn t found anyone yet that could explain why), they gave me an estimate that day at a fair price and I went back that week to have it fixed. Good service! They do run on a first in first served system so make an appointment early in the day. They can generally get you out within x amount of hours though if you talk to them. When they replaced my tire rods, they weren t able to finish the final adjustments that day, so they didn t make me pay right away. Instead I came back the next day, they finished everything in under an hour and I paid then. Very friendly cats! Ask for a free bumper sticker for 10% off in the future

Turbo Tims is one of the best auto shops! I ve had nothing but positive experiences with them! I ve always been able to call/text and drop my car off same day, and have been able to pick it up no more than 2 days later. I really appreciate their clear communication via text and call, and love that they do a diagnostic and allow me to choose what I want to approve to be fixed and not. I also appreciate that they give a 30,000 mile or 3 year guarantee on some repairs when they replace things. I also like their values and the environment of the shop and love the shop cats. I would highly recommend Turbo Tims to anyone!
