My car completely stopped while in Fridley. I had it towed to trinhs.i saw the lot was full of cars.i thought ohoh this might take a really long time.they had it done in 2 days.got it back to running fantastic place!!

The best place to take your car to do complete auto services. Trinh's is the best in town , he is the owner and will go beyond to satisfy his costumers. Cheap and good quality auto service. All my family been coming here for year and never had single problem.

I m so grateful for this business; this is the most genuine and honest mechanic I ve ever encountered. I can t say that I m surprised by the good reviews, they re well earned. I agree with the other reviewer who says they don t try to do unwanted repairs or sneak in extra services. It s nice to know that you can trust your mechanic when you re dealing with stressful car repairs and I will continue to give them my business.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

The owner of the place is extremely unprofessional and rude and biased. My experience was unpleasant I had my steering pump and rack & pinion service done two different occasions at first I had my guy cousin who went with me so I guess that did justice. But, when I went back for the power steering I was by myself and totally different experience. This individual had the audacity to call me after I confirmed with him I ll be picking up my car at 3:30pm and has his employee call me back to let me know he s leaving now and come get your car. I asked to speak with him and when I did he hang up on me and I was baffled. No Apologize nor understanding to his disrespect when I approach the situation upon picking up my car. When he seen I had a male figure he s persona had change into acting that he didn t mean anything by his rude and biased behavior. If you are a colored individual and a female I URGE you not to get service from this individual he will charge ridiculous prices and take advantage and belittle you. I ve learned my lesson and will never go to mechanic alone never the less one that chooses what race they respect and don t respect all because your not Asian or white smh! I've heard great things about Vi and his shop from a friend so when I needed to replace my brakes, rotors and rear sway bar link, I decided to take it there. Their service is top-notch. Vi and his mechanics repaired both my rear sway bar link as well as my brakes and rotors for a great price. Before they worked on the car, Vi gave me the cost upfront so there were no surprises. I also addressed a concern to Vi about a noise I had been hearing while driving and thought it might be the wheel bearing hub assembly going bad. Vi checked it out at no cost whereas Toyota wanted $150 just to check. He was able to diagnose the problem and saved me time and money in the process. Overall great quality service, honest and very fair prices. I will definitely be back when I need work done on my vehicles. If you are looking for a honest mechanic with quality service at a great price, this is the shop!

Before I could drive, my mom would take her car here. And now that I'm a driver I take my car here with any and every issue. I don't even leave google reviews but they are so trustworthy over here. They look over what's wrong with your call and then CALL U BEFORE they work on it so that you're cool on the price. And if there's an issue that not a huge deal too, they'll let you know whether it's worth fixing or not so you won't waste your money. They are fast too. Never had my car with them longer than 2 days for an issue (unless they had to order a part in).

Truyen, the owner, has been working on my car for years. He's always friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and good at problem-solving. Tran is the best. He is very honest and knowledgeable. He was respectful. I checked with 7 different repair shops. Trinh's shop was less than half of the cost of any other shop. I will be back again and again. Thank you so much!

I've been going through these guys for YEARS and surprisingly haven't written a review:Honest work, prices are reasonable, and just fix what needs to be fixed. Trinh's auto have helped me out of many jams, luckily before my work shift. Keep up the great service!

So when switching owners I thought they were over-charging me. The new owner Truyen went over the issue with me and showed me his cost on parts and labor. I was extremely misinformed initially and he left me feeling confident that the business is still in good hands. He worked with me on the issue and we came to an agreement that I felt great with.Trinh's Auto is still hands down the best mechanic in Minnesota. Price 5/5 Quality 5/5 and customer service 6/5. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I'm glad I still have the same auto shop I've been going to since I was 16.

Great service. Always speedy and quality work, but most importantly, honest and for a fraction of a cost of the other guys. They also don't push unwanted and unnecessary repairs. Love these guys. I won't trust my car to anyone else. Give them a shot; you won't find a better shop.

Trinh's Auto Repair is great. They are ethical, reasonably priced and easy to work with. I have never written a review for a business before but after having them work on my car twice I wanted to thank them for their good service.

Wow! My car was leaking oil like a sieve. They got my car in this morning at 11 and got everything fixed before 5:00pm yes on the Saturday before Christmas. Very helpful and reasonable. I appreciate their service and kindness .

Best shop in town! Honest, excellent prices and fast turn around. I ve been coming here for years now, and I ve never been disappointed. I also have several friends/family who share this sentiment. The shop is on the LR, easy to take the train DT to work for the day while your car is fixed!

This place does really good work. My car is 21 years old with many miles on it. I know a lot of great mechanics, but I find myself recommending Trinh s Auto to friends because they re so good at diagnosing as well as fixing. I started here years ago when Vi was working; now Truyen, Tep, and another gentleman there i never learned his name fixed my oil leaks just last week, my car drives so much better. I m going back next week for another big job. I m actually excited to get my car fixed!

They took off fuel door from vehicle while in their care for unrelated service; several weeks later, still waiting for replacement. For another vehicle, they 'lost' one of the center caps for one of the wheels. Also, recommended brake job and parts that weren't needed (another shop verified; have pictures to prove). Poor service and pricing in addition to these questionable incidents. Not trustworthy in my experience

WARNING: TRINH'S STAFF WILL STEAL YOUR STUFF!I hate to have to say it, but 0 stars for stealing from your customer. I was grateful to find Trinh's, impressed by reviews, loved their no frills approach, and even though it took 3 days longer than they said to look at it and give me a diagnosis, I was patient. Car was towed in on Wednesday and after checking in each day and not getting called back, I was given the update on Saturday. It's a busy car repair season.While my car was at Trinh's though, someone saw fit to take a handful of items. The list includes a total of 4 hot/cold bags for my work as a courier as well as a new-in-box lumbar massage cushion that was a gift to help with my injured back.Thanks Trinh's! ...For stealing the things that I need to work moderately comfortably. Didn't anyone want the baby clothes for my partner's low income pregnant clients? You missed those.As suggested, I *will* come back and demand compensation for my stolen belongings. Let's see how you follow through on that.

Vi has serviced five different vehicles, of friends and family. He was fair, quick and very thorough. One year warranty on all parts, labor - minimum. No nonsense, easy going, helpful. If it has four wheels or needs four wheels get it serviced here.

Five star for fast service and honesty!I was having a lot of trouble with my Mercedes. It had a bad transmission. I heard about Vy from my friend. The first time I called him and asked about the service price, I shocked. He quote $2400 for the rebuilt transmission and free toll, free rental car, which more than half what the dealer quote $5600 for the rebuilt transmission or $8000 for a new one. After 3 days I got the call from Vy, he told me that my car was done. I test drive it and it was like a new car. He said that he will guaranty his work for one years.4 months later, my car broke down again (not because of the transmission. It was the worst icy night, everybody stuck in the road because the car could not run), and I stuck in the middle of the highway in a cold winter day. I called Vy for help and he came right up to pick me up. The next morning he tolled my car to his shop and fixed for $700 plus the toll, he told me that it was something wrong with the starter, he could not fix it so he sent my car to the dealer and have them fix it, and I only pay him what he pay to the dealer with no extra charge.11 months since I know him. There was something wrong with my transmission again and I called Vy and asked about the guaranty. Vy kept his words. He tolled my car to his shop and fix the problem. I have my car back in 2 days with no charge.Conclusion: It have been 2 years and I am not visit his shop again because my car still in good shape. If you looking for fast service, affordable, quality, and honest quote, look don't look else where, it right here. Give Vy a call and problem solve!

GREAT SHOP!!! This place has saved me A LOT of money! Honest, friendly and they treat almost everyone like family! The owner even let me use his shop for a quick emergency repair!! And showed me what I was doing wrong!!! They deserve your business!!!

Have brought my car here to be serviced twice and have not been disappointed . Very honest guy does great work .
