Had a terrific experience at T&T Auto Repair. Went in there to repair by brakes & rotors and was very pleased with the result. It was a fast process where the owner gave me an accurate estimate on the spot and completed great work. It also came at a great price! BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ IN THESE REVIEWS!! Peter is a god-send!!I dropped my '02 Toyota Echo off early in the morning when I realized it wasn't accelerating properly. I called the shop when it opened and Peter informed me that he likely wouldn't be able to take a look at the vehicle until Monday (this was on a Thursday). I explained that I was hoping to be back on the road to get to work by Monday, to which he replied that he could *maybe* take a look Saturday. I was appreciative of this since the shop typically isn't open Saturdays.Two and a half hours later, Peter calls me back saying that he's taken a look at my vehicle and it needs a new spark plug and ignition coil. He had my vehicle rockin' and rollin' by the end of my shift, and I was able to pick it up right after work. That work, plus an oil change altogether ran me waaaay cheaper at this shop than it would've anywhere else, and for that and Peter's expeditious work, I'm truly grateful!!DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SHOP! Peter is very polite and has worked for himself as the owner for 21 years. Got a next day oil change and cheapest in NE. If you want to support a small local business, getting you car fixed at T & T is the definition of it. Cool building art too !

Peter is friendly, welcoming, and professional. I was able to schedule my oil change only a day in advance and I had my car back within the hour. He keeps his prices low and shows great respect for his customers. Best auto shop experience so far.

I recently got my catalytic converter stolen and I went to Peter for the repair. He was incredibly helpful, giving me an exact quote before doing the repair and also helping me contact auto shops to find the best deal. I would recommend him to anyone looking for auto service and I will keep coming back to him for the quality job he did!

My numerous experiences with T&T have been wonderful! The owner is kind, knowledgeable and is always looking out for his customers and neighbors. I have been bringing my car to T&T for years and highly recommend it. Tuan (Peter) is fantastic!My husband and I have been bringing our cars in here for years and have had dozens of repairs on our old clunkers.Sometimes when he is busy you might have to wait a few days but the prices are absolutely worth it.Support a small local business and get honest, affordable work done!

I had a great experience at T & T Auto Repair. I brought my car to the shop because it would start about 1 of every 10 times. They fixed my car within 10 minutes and sent me on my way. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Oil change was done same day. Great service so we decided to return. Car s belt is squeaking. Brought it in Friday to have it looked at over the weekend, nothing. Brought it back in on Monday after work and left it the next day Tuesday we will let you know if it gets fixed. Said it s the transmission and would cost $500 or more dollars to repair. Getting a second opinion. We will be back for routine maintenance though.

Great experience. We called T&T this morning, and the owner asked if we could come in today. He took a look at our car, thought we needed new spark plugs, and gave us an estimate that was very fair. A couple of hours later, our car was done and the estimate was right. He even showed us what the old spark plugs looked like and gave a helpful explanation of the issue. Highly recommend this place!

Truly a helpful and honest place. They were able to do a patch repair on my car that would have cost many times more to get repaired at the dealership that I had gone to initially. They were also very informative about what exactly was wrong with my car, what the dealership had misinformed me about, and what exactly the repair was that they were going to do, and also what they couldn't repair (that over time, I really might just have to get parts replaced at a dealership). Overall I am extremely happy with how my car has run since they worked on it and feel like I have been given good information for any future work needed on my car.

These guys are awesome!!! I've been here 3 times in the past 2 years. The price is always fair, the work is always great. They are my new go-to shop forever. My catalytic converter fell off; I couldn't believe it when they called me 2 hours later and it was repaired. I thought she was staying the night for sure. They even taped up my exhaust pipe (something I'd been meaning to do to hold off on replacement). I know where I'm taking her to have that installed when the time inevitably comes. Thanks guys!

I was having some car issues and the owner was able to look at my car, tell me what was wrong and fix it in a day! He was super friendly and the issues were very minor so he did not charge me for them. I will definitely be going back here if I have more car trouble. I would highly suggest this place, as I am generally weary of mechanics, but this place was great!

Tran and T&T have been doing great by me for years. I lived down the block for 6 years, and they are the best deal around. Friendly, and they have the most low cost labor anywhere. Just be patient with the communication (English is not his first language), and be very clear about what you want, and ask questions. They always look at the car first for no charge, then give you a flat fee estimate for the work BEFORE they do it. He lets you bring your own parts if you want, and doesn't overcharge if he supplies parts either.

On a road trip from upstate NY to the Midwest, our car suddenly started idling at twice its normal rate. We knew we would arrive in Minneapolis over Memorial Day weekend, so on a friend s recommendation we called ahead to T&T Auto Repair on the Friday before Memorial Day. I spoke with Jordan, who was friendly and professional, and assured me that they could take a look at the car first thing Tuesday morning, even though they would be really busy that day. True to his word, our car was the first thing they looked at and right away, they discovered the problem: our cruise control was getting stuck under the throttle, holding the throttle open even when the cruise control was off. Jordan showed me what was happening and how to fix it, and didn t charge me a dime. If we lived in Minnesota, T&T Auto Repair would be our regular mechanic!

I'm so lucky to live just a half a block from the best auto shop in the Twin Cities! Pete at T & T Auto will always give you a fair price and will never sell you services you don't need. One time when my car wouldn't start last winter, he and one of his employees PUSHED it the half block to his shop to save me the cost of a tow! He's honest, fair and values his regular customers. You won't be disappointed!

I called up T & T Auto on a Thursday, and was able to get my car in the next morning at 9. I had a check engine light on, and the car seemed to be making some weird noises, but when they checked they found nothing wrong with the car other than the noises being from normal wear and tear. They finished the inspection in 1.5 hours, and didn't even charge for it. I don't imagine that's the norm, but I will absolutely come back here in the future because I really respect a company that does the right thing (i.e. didn't feel like they did enough work to warrant a charge). Great people, great service. Go here. Go here now (pending car issues of course).

I had my car dropped off here a week ago after an accident. Since then, they've been unresponsive to all but one phone call, and there are no alternative means of contact available. My insurance company can't get ahold of them either. I've got calendar reminders set up so that I'll remember to call them 3 times a day and hope someone picks up.I can only assume they're understaffed and have made massive cuts to their active hours, but there's no way to know for sure what's going on.Communication is important! If you need your car looked at and don't want to wait a month for them to contact you, take your business elsewhere. Very dissatisfied.

I went here purely by chance because my car was in such bad shape that I couldn't get it any further. The staff saw me right away, told me what was wrong with my vehicle, and while the damage to my engine was too much for them to fix onsite (my vehicle was under warranty so I had to get it to a dealership), they got it running well enough for me to park it someplace safe. And despite my offering several times, they wouldn't accept any money for this service. I really didn't think there were any locally owned businesses that cared about customer service like this left. I will definitely be taking my vehicle here for regular oil changes from here on out. I am happy that this business is a part of my community!Update: After taking my car to the dealership for the big repairs, I was told that without the minor repairs performed by T & T Auto Repair (which, again, they did for free), my car would not have been covered by warranty and I would've been out around six thousand dollars. I can't thank T & T enough!

I have been bringing my cars over to T & T for the last 5-6 years now. Peter is friendly, honest, and he always gives me the best and most cost effective options to fix my cars. He has worked on suspensions, transmission, engines, brakes, ball joints, and driveline, for me. I will continue to bring my cars to T & T for maintenance and repair and highly recommend this place for car owners seeking quality and affordable services.

These guys really deserve more than 5 stars coming from me. I would recommend this place to anybody who needs work done on their car. Very trustworthy, honest, flexible and have better prices than any other auto repair shop.

Wow, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to T&T for the work he completed on my car. The part he could order was going to be extremely expensive and not fully needed, so he fixed the root of the problem himself. I am impressed at the customer service and overall care he takes with his work. Thank you, thank you! I will come back to T&T for any and every car I own.

Great guy, does good work at an affordable price. It helps if you know what you want. My only issue is that they were not able to properly balance my tires, had to go elsewhere to have it done properly.

From now on I will take my car nowhere else except T and T Auto! They are great there. They will look at your car (no cost), give you a price right there on how much it will be (and it won't change!), there is no upselling or trying to sell you crap you don't need and the car will be ready when he says it will be ready. Pete does great work and I have not had a bad experience there yet. I am only going to recommend T and T Auto to my friends and to finish it off his prices are better than any other shop I have found. I am sooooo glad I found this shop! Thanks for the great work!

Drive shaft broke on the way to work -- searched google for reputable mechanics and T &T Auto repair popped up.They were able to do it same day -- called prior and ran the cost by me and when I showed up to pay it was spot on. i don't plan on using another mechanic, outstanding professionalism and service.

It hard to find words to describe how awful this place is. My first time going to t&t the mechanic barely looked at my car and said I needed 4 new coils. He quoted me a ridiculous price but said if I ordered my own coils online he would install them for $100. I ordered a pack of 6 coils. When I came to get my car after he installed them he didn t have the extra two coils I bought but did replace the 4 (so he just took 2 for himself.) I was driving out of the parking lot when I immediently heard the sound that brought me into the shop in the first place. He admitted to me that he didn t test drive it after fixing it. So I obviously couldn t take my car with me. He said to bring it back on Friday (it was Wednesday) I drove it out there Friday and he said is guy called in sick so he wouldn t have time. I made an appointment for the following Wednesday. Brought my car in and waited. Didn t hear from them Thursday. Called Friday morning and he said to me oh, I ll take a look and call you back in an hour. He has it for nearly two days and NEVER looked my car until I called. He calls me back 30 mins later and honest to god said yeah I m not sure what s wrong. And waited for me to say something. I eventually was like so what do I do then? He said he needed more time to look at it and told me to bring it back next week. So we are on week three. I m angry but this shop is so close to my place and I can t drive my car far. I bring my car back on Wednesday (the day I scheduled my appointment for.) and again I call Friday to see when I can pick it up and he gets kind of mad at me and tells me he ll look at it when he can and that he is very busy. I kinda lost it. It has been three weeks of him jerking me around and I made appointments and he just was ignoring me. He finally called back at the end of the day Friday saying AGAIN that his guy didn t come in but that he looked at my car and it could be one of a few things (still didn t know) but that it would be expensive to fix so I should just get a new car and that driving it right now would be dangerous. I have no idea how someone who doesn t know what s wrong with the car can confidently say to get a new car. I was furious. I brought it into another shop, Murgics in Rosemount.They figured out the problem in a hour, took it overnight and by the next day I had my car back, good as new. It was an expensive fix $600. But it runs great and it was never dangerous to drive like the guy at t&t said. My mechanic at Mugics said that my car could have several years of life left. I can t beleibe how incompetent these guys at t&t are. Huge time waster & the new mechanic said my coils never needed to be changed anyways. So unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend them. The guy who worked on my car wasn t Pete but I never did get his name.

These guys fixed a problem that many dodge dealerships were unable to diagnose. They also recently replaced my rotors and break pads for cheap. You don t have to worry about them ripping off women, like I ve experienced before at other shops. I ll only be going here for now on.Services: Electrical, BrakesServices: Electrical, Brakes
