I needed my front brakes and rear brakes/rotors fixed. After checking repair shops the most recommended one was Penn Auto Care. I made an appointment and brought my CRV in. Very happy I did! Thanks to Dan and staff for making this as simple as possible!

I had the pleasure of working with Dan, my mechanic, and very hands on owner of Penn Auto Care, and I am extremely satisfied with his services. He is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also very professional and friendly, and BEAT PRICES IN TOWN. He won t lie and say you need services that you do not. Dan took the time to thoroughly explain the issues with my vehicle and provided me with clear and honest recommendations. He went above and beyond to ensure that my car was fixed efficiently and at a reasonable price. I appreciated his attention to detail and the quality of his work. I highly recommend Dan as a mechanic for anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy automotive services.

Oh my gosh, i brought my car in Wednesday afternoon when my starter started dying on me, and Thursday morning i got the call my car was done! Fast amazing service! Inexpensive, and i'm back on the road for much cheaper than i expected.

The staff there is friendly and very knowledgeable. They provide no nonsense service and keep my vehicle road ready all the time. Easy night drop off for convenience and in a lot of instances it was same day service which is never expected . Overall, it was a great and honest place to take your car to get fixed.

Only time I've ever had to have my truck towed away from a shop. Have brought my truck here twice for 2 separate issues and both times were terrible. Will definitely never use this shop again. Their work, when they actually do what you asked them to do, is sketchy but priced accordingly. Highly recommend getting work done at a different shop that knows what their doing and will do it right.First time was for a ruptured brake line which to their credit they fixed by replacing the line. Only to find out later that they zip tied the line in place instead of using the mounts available from the one they removed.Second time I told them what needed done and that I just didn't have the time to do it at the moment. They proceeded to do unrelated work then refused to do the work I originally brought it in for. Basically charged me $400 for an oil change then I had to pay to tow it to my shop and do the work myself.Service: Brake service & repair

Outstanding. Had a differential blow out, Dan & co. went the extra mile to get the job done & I am a customer for life. Dan is an excellent and honest mechanic. He does not over charge or upcharge parts. He is great at getting it done on time and proper diagnosis. I had new brake lines run and HVAC system cleaned out. Keep up the excellent work!Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

My 1st time going to Penns was last week. My best friend takes her car there. Her brother is friends with one of the mechanics and another was her son's coach. After telling her about a quote and reported issue I received at Firestone she said no take it to my dude 1st! Man I am so glad I did! My 1000 problem turned into a 200 maintenance needed and minor fix! So blessed to have gone here and I will gladly drive from Brooklyn Center moving forward for everything from maintenance to concern's!!!Thank you!

My car ended up needing to be returned back to Penn Auto Care about 3 times, because each time Dan failed to repair a stiff steering problem. The last time that I came into the shop to pick up my car, Dan told me that I would have to just accept that sometimes the steering just wouldn't work. I had to come back to the shop and demand a refund once I gave the car a test drive, because I realized that the steering problem still existed and wasn't any better. He forced me to allow him to keep $200 for a steering pump that does nothing to fix my steering problem. I still have the same stiff steering issue.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've had my car worked on here twice, once for a simple oil change and tire repair, and the other time for an oil leak in my engine block. Both Matt and Dan were kind and clear over the phone, they never made any repairs without asking to confirm I wanted them, and never had my car for longer than a day. Excellent service, and the prices were good (not that I'm super familiar with pricing for this kind of thing). Definitely my go-to shop as long as I'm living in Richfield.

After seeing so many positive reviews, I decided to take my car in for new brakes. I was totally impressed. This is a great repair shop. Everyone is a professional and the facility is spotless. Both the shop and the office. The bill was exactly as it was estimated. I highly recommend you check them out if you need any vehicle repairs. I will definately use them again.

It's really great to have a "car guy" I can absolutely trust. Dan at Penn Auto Care has always made me feel like his most important customer, and I can't recommend them enough. Whether it's as simple as squeezing me in for an oil change on short notice, or as untimely as bent rims and blown tires from a pot hole, he's consistently gone above and beyond an ordinary level of service!

My car breaking down was the only bit of bad news in my experience with Dan and company. I m really just fortunate it broke down in front of such an excellent shop. They went out of their way to get my car done in a hurry and I can t say enough good things about them and the service I received at Penn Auto Care. 10/10 would recommend.

The owner of the shop, Dan, and his partner, both have great skills to diagnose complex issues like sensor issues, and electrical connections. They deliver high quality services for you in a timely manner. I will recommend anyone to use their service. Two thumbs up!

Penn Auto is the go to place to get your car fixed! Dan Lennon is a pro, he's kind, and cares about every customer. Dan takes the time to ask informed questions. My first experience was many years ago, I brought my car in because of a noise and the way it was driving. He told me my car was no longer safe for me to drive, and explained exactly why so that I understood. Just this week Penn Auto replaced my brakes/pads. Years later Dan is still #1 in my book. I would not take my care anyplace else!!Service: Brakes

After reading the positive reviews for Penn Auto Care, I got an estimate from Dan on a sizeable repair. Dan is great. Not only is he super honest, his estimate handily beat the competition, and he stayed true to his estimate while going above and beyond in terms of service and repair. If you're looking for an honest shop that provides great value, this is it.

Great neighborhood auto repair spot. A lot of places in town will give you an inflated estimate or try to sell you on things you don't need not here though. I've got to agree with everyone else here. Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust. They had me after the first visit. He didn't try pushing me into replacing all my rotors and brakes at once. He gave me options and worked with me. I brought my truck in for an oil change knowing the brakes were at the very least close to needing to be replaced.He said for now the rotors on the front were fine and the brakes should be replaced. Waiting any longer might cause the rotors to get too thin. He said the back ones would need both the rotors and brakes done, but I could hold off a little while since the front brakes do 85% of the braking.This was pretty astounding considering I had gone to another national franchise shop not far from there for an oil change a few years earlier and these guys were pushing me to get the brakes done then and if I didn't, they said I risked more expense from broken calipers, etc. I knew that they were full of it, but you know why I have trust issue with mechanics.I am actually looking forward to bringing the truck in to replace the back brakes and not dreading it, because I know I am not going to be bullied into unneeded repairs.I forgot to mention they also rotated the tires for free because they were wearing unevenly in front.

I have worked with Dan and Penn Auto for about 8 years. They do great work, very reasonably priced, and most of all honest. It's easy to be skeptical when dealing with a repair shop, but not with these guys! Thanks Dan!

I had a fantastic experience. Dan is super honest, affordable, and friendly. That's a rare find. Usually you can get 1 or 2 of those qualities in a mechanic, but to have all 3 is fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone.
