I don't review places often (I don't think I ever have), but this guy deserves every positive review he gets. I was quoted over $8,000 for repairs on my (extremely) high mileage car that was making loud noises. It was a distraught 48 hours before I took it into Nghia and within 10 minutes he had my car lifted on his hoist, and one of his guys reached his hand into the muffler, which had a hole the size of a pancake. He then helped me sort out a time to drop the car off the next day that fit with my work schedule. Thanks for saving me over $7,500. As long as I live in the Twin Cities, you've got a customer in me!

BEST AFFORDABLE REASONABLE PRICED! He NEVER EVER charges outrageous or over priced repairs or parts. He is not trying to break your pocketbook with his prices.He is so affordably priced with bottom line prices his business is so popular they is a line formed BEFORE he opens WHICH speaks for itself. He would not of lasted has long has he has NOR be so busy were he not a great shop with VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES

Nghia is the real deal. I ve had his help on two of my cars now - both Priuses, but he seems to do it all - and I ve frankly never talked to a more honest mechanic. He is fair, kind, and does ridiculously efficient, quality work (but still be patient, everybody else is going to him too!). I honestly cannot recommend him enough, and the literal wall covered in post it s from other happy customers would agree with me. 10/10 guy. Also, he probably will take your business even if the signs on the door sometimes say otherwise - just call ahead!Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement

Always trust going to Nghia for absolutely anything. He s always honest & reasonable on the prices almost to a fault. Seems like every time I needed something done and called around for quotes I always end up going to Nghia because it s the most affordable and trustworthy. The only bad thing is that this guys always busy but that s because he does good work.

Always honest, always hilarious.I've been to Nghia's several times over the years, and he will always deal straight up with you. He's shown me the price of parts on the website before he orders them, and will find ways to save you money.

They lost or broke off pieces to hold the radiator and bumper didn t even bother fixing them. They kept a making excuses why it took almost two weeks to get my car repaired which I ended up bringing it to a reputable shop that did the repairs correct and bought the missing broken pieces Nghias Automorive caused.

Nghia is everything you want in a car expert, and more. Honest, efficient, committed, and hilarious. I learned about him through a gentleman who drove the same car as me. I asked him who worked on it, and he said Nghia is the man. Well, he was absolutely right. Took my bmw in for a number of issues and it was done in one day. Recently I had to take my mercedes in the other day for A/C issues .. he literally had it done in 1 hour. You can t ask for a better experience. Don t waste his time, trust his team, and give the thumbs up on the work. Don t screw around. Nghia doesn t screw around.

Our family has gone to Nghia for auto repair for about 20 years. My grandfather, Bruce Hultgren, found him and recommended Nghia to everyone. Nghia is humble, honest, kind, and respectful. And Nghia can handle anything from simple repairs at a fair price to complex jobs that require creative solutions.

My father, an engineer, has been coming here for years! So when something was wrong with my car I trusted him when he said go to this shop. Nghia is such a cool guy and great service! I have not felt like I trusted a mechanic more! He s gained a long time customer! Ok so, I had an alternator and serpent belt quote from another mechanic, which was way above my budget( car breakdowns are always out of our budgets) but I called this shop and he fixed my car at an affordable reasonable rate. I had a bad day even and I came out in a good mood, because the guy was just so friendly. I m new in this area so this is where I ll be taking my car from now on.Service: Transmission

Whent in today (4/18/17) for the first time to replace my brake pads and rotors, price was better and expected. Nghia likes to joke alot but knows when to be professional. Do not get offended by his slightly sextist of racist jokes, they are only jokes. Would recommend. Last note, he chargers $5 for entertainment (not really.)

Nghia's Auto service Center is a top-notch shop. His shop is busy all the time for the obvious reasons. His attention to your needs, quality work and best price in town will keep me coming back every time. Fun guy, and they do good honest work. I brought it in for something in the suspension/steering making noise. They found the issue and fixed it for a very reasonable price. Multiple neighbors have told me they've been going to Nghia for over ten years. You can't get better recommendation than that, and you won't hear me squeaking down the street anymore. Nghia's is the best mechanic in the area. Honest guy who charges significantly less then anyone else I've found. He's done everything for me from a full engine replacement to brakes. I've recommend him to family and he's become their mechanic as well!He does stay busy, so don't always expect same day service.
