Always awesome service. They do a great job explaining car stuff to someone who could care less about cars stuff! They are friendly, honest, and compassionate. They also have an impressive stash of dog treats behind the desk for when you drop by with your dog. I couldn't recommend a better neighborhood shop!

Mr. Tire was great to work with! I got a total flat about a mile away from them and drove over on a Fix-A-Flat to leave my car there overnight. I had forgotten they would need my keys so I had to Uber back in the morning but they had already started fixing it in the parking lot so that I wouldn't need to Uber there and back again. I really appreciate the extra mile they went working in the cold to save me time and money. Steve at the front desk was very nice.

I was out-of-state when I need a new tires on my s.U.V, I've dealt with mister tire for years, I called Dan and he recommended a good set which are working well, Next time I will plan ahead and buy from him

Staff is friendly; however.$55 in labor to replace 1 tire with a stripped locking lug nut and 3 other lug nuts.$15 for 3 lug nuts.$88 total for 1 tire mounting and balancingThe kicker is that the fella at the counter told me 5$ a piece for lug nuts is cheap. The set I purchased for my other vehicle was $22 for 20.I see how these guys are making money.

Tried to rip me off!!! Look up the price of your tires or get a second quote at another place before going there. The guy told me these are the tires I would get my daughter and as soon as I called another place I got a quote $300 cheaper for the same exact tires. Especially if you are a young woman don t trust this place to be up front about their pricing.Editing to reply to their follow up: the second shop I went to down the road had me looking at the computer with the tire prices on them. Firestone all season tires were the tires I was quoted here and they were the same tires I had put on my car at the next shop (can be seen in photo)

I am a new customer of Mr Tire. Since my car is getting worn down, I have had worries about the cost of repairs and maintenance needed for my vehicle. Mr Tire has made these worries nonexistent. Every time I have gone to get my car serviced, I have been met with the most helpful people I have ever seen in the auto repair business. Their technicians have decades of experience, which makes me confident in the work that they do. They charge very reasonable prices, and complete the work on my car within a few hours, all while communicating with me in great detail throughout the whole process via phone. The owner Steve has been so helpful and will listen to all my concerns about my vehicle while giving helpful feedback and recommendations. I plan on coming back here for as long as possible.

100% . . . they provided a useful quote by email. with comparable tires and an alignment the cost was over $100 less than their competitors. they provided friendly same day service and completed the work faster than quoted. they even found some other items in need of repair or replacement and did the necessary work at reasonable cost. the ride is so smooth now, it is like i have a new car.

Came here to rent a uhaul truck that reserved. We walk into the front and there is no one there. Someone walks up to the counter, looks at us, and then walks back unto the garage. Finally someone comes in to help us and gives us the nastiest look. The entire time we are going over the particulars he is giving me side eye. When we gave him the drivers license and credit card he throws them back on the counter when he gives it back to me. Every response from him is filled with attitude and sarcasm. Very irrited that we were treated so poorly when we did absolutely nothing to the person working. Will never come back again.

Went to Catholic Eldercare to visit my Dad and my tire went flat as I enter the driveway and parked. I searched for a tire place nearby to fix the flat and came upon this place. Dan the man was awesome on the phone and said he would try to slide it in between jobs. Turns out they could not save the tire because it had a 1inch gash in the tread (tire was not in good shape anyhow). He managed to get me a new tire, balanced, and mounted at a very reasonable price in a few hours. The big box tire places have nothing on these guys. On the plus side I spent a little more time with my dad. Go see Dan for good old Nordeast honesty.

I've been going to Mr Tire for about four years now, and won't take my car anywhere else. The service is always fast and friendly, the prices are fair, and they are honest and never try to sell me anything I don't need. The owner (Steve) is usually working the front desk when I come in, and talking to him is always delightful!

Great and Quick Experience! My rear brakes were making a loud scrapping noise. I suspected it was because of the brake pads, which the service technician confirmed was the case.Dropped off car at 745am. Got a call at 830am describing the problem and what it would cost. The cost was reasonable. Very friendly exchange with the owner Steve. Called back at 10:25am to say it was ready to pick up. I picked up my car 12 noon and the scrapping noise was gone.Super easy process and quick turnaround. Definitely gonna be my go-to play for car issues moving forward

Live in the neighborhood and went to Mr. Tire, well for tires to start....but really appreciate their friendly and quality service - so now we go there for everything our Mazda 5 needs (repairs, oil changes, etc.)! Highly recommend this neighborhood / hardworking business!

3/23/23 - yep I still come here to get my car serviced, even though I've moved and there's closer auto shops to me. The mechanics here are honest and open about what's going on with my car and help me keep her running smoothly. Trust, rapport and quality service is what keeps me coming back year after year. Grateful to Dan, Steve, Bruce, Shawn and Brian!My primary go to shop for any car issues for YEARS. They've been kindly and honest with the various car problems I've had over the years and I'd trust them with the vehicle I entrust my life to on a daily basis. Really good turn around time too.

Mr. Tire is the BEST!!! I have brought my car there so many times, and each time I am treated with respect, and also given honest advice about my vehicle. I drive a cheap car, and I don't want to dump more money into it than what it's worth - they always give me their honest opinions on what does and does not need to be fixed. They're also some of the friendliest mechanics I've ever met!Bonus tip: Stop by Dogwood Coffee while you wait to have your car fixed!

They will scam you. Avoid this business. (4/25/22) was my first experience there.I went in for an oil change, and they suggested an air cabin filter change. I said, "why not? Throw it in!" To my surprise, I was scammed. An air cabin filter job is a simple fix and doesn't require much labor it usually only takes about 15 minutes. When I received my receipt, I then understood the slimy ethos of the business. I was charged 20 for the cabin filter parts (which I expected), but then I was charged 51 dollars for the labor cost. They charged 250% above the parts cost for labor on a job that takes around 15-20 minutes needless to say, that is quite poor on their part. Stay away, and give your business to another company.

Went to pick up a uhaul rental and the old guy at the front desk was very rude and extremely unprofessional. Told me "hes glad he's not the one that only has a few hundred dollars in there account, because that would be sad." He made this assumption because of a card payment mix up. When I told him that was uncalled for and he didn't have to be an a**h*** about it, he refused to rent me the uhaul and told he didn't have to rent to people like me. Now I'm not sure what he meant by the last comment, but I would not recommend this place to anyone for any kind if service.

My partner had work done there. When the car came back after repair it was rifled through and items were stolen. Including something that was special from a relative who has passed. The contents of the glovebox and center console were strewn all over. The staff did nothing when asked about it. Just shrugged their shoulders. They stole from the car while it was being repaired. There was no apology or heads up that the interior of the car was a mess. It is really a violation and very disturbing.

2 simple punctures in one tire will set you back $61.00 out the door.Other places are doing it for $10-$20 or not charging at all. If the prices weren't as outrageous and more like other shops in the area I would've considered going back. I like supporting small businesses, but after that gouge I will not recommend them.

Dan is always a hoot. Mr. Tire - Northeast is always able to get me in when I need them the most! I've had two emergency situations that they've been able to handle in a timely manner. They feel like a hometown auto shop to me. In addition, they don't charge an arm and a leg to get things done. I don't go anywhere else in Minneapolis!

Over many years Steve Buck and his team have given my vehicles excellent service and provided exceptional customer service as well. I have complete confidence in their attention to what my vehicle needs at very fair prices. I have recommended Mr. Tire Northeast to a number of people who have always reported complerte satisfaction with their experience as well. No one knows vehicles better than Steve and his team. They give personal service each time, whatever my car's issue or my questions. Thanks, guys for going the extra mile!

FANTASTIC service! I got my struts replaced today and was feeling bummed because I needed to get the work done despite being really low on funds. They did it at totally reasonable cost AND fixed my front fender, which I had done a bang-up job of replacing months earlier FOR FREE and without asking. Thank you Mr. Tire staff!!! So much appreciation for you!!

Google is constantly asking me to review Mr Tire Northeast, since I've used them a lot. I have had nothing but great service from this place, and the prices are more than fair as well. They seem fast and always get the job done faster than the ETA they've given me. I used them the whole time I owned my 2004 Ford Focus hatchback, and now my 2012 Chrysler 200. I've probably used them up to 10 times total for everything from brakes, rotors, tires.

I was very pleased by the service and professional courtesy of Mr. Tire. I had asked initially for them to fix a flat and then called and asked if they could rotate all the tires, which they did as well, all in about 2 hours. They now have a fully satisfied customer who will go back and also recommend them to my friends.

The team at Mr. Tire Northeast is superb. They are efficient, honest, courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy and beyond friendly! I even bring my dog with for a few treats. I have been going to this business since I moved to Northeast 3 years ago and have always trusted them with my vehicle's needs. Appointment or no appointment, they will happily work with you to ensure your needs are addressed.

On weekends, you must get their early for same day service. When I went recently for an oil change, I also asked them to top off my other fluids. I even asked the counter attendant if that was done because that's not part of their usual oil change practice. When I went to my car and checked the fluids myself, they were all at fairly low levels. When I went back inside to tell him, he did top off the fluids but did not apologize much or offer any explanation. The decent prices and great location will probably have me back for routine maintenance though.
