I stopped to get air in a tire that was low. I asked if they could put the air in for me. I was advised there was probably a nail in my tire but I didn't have time to take care of it at that moment. They said if I come back after my appointment they would look at it which I did. Upon looking at it, there was a nail in the tire which they fixed promptly. When I asked what I owed, they said, "Nothing". That blew me away. I don't know who helped me that day, but I am so grateful.Since the tire issue, I've spoken to Matt, the owner. He's super nice and easy to talk to.This is also my Go To for gas. I always fill up here unless I'm out of town. They are so convenient to where I live and have lower gas prices than the other stations in town.

Matt (the owner) took great care of my car. I had an oil leak and was hoping to get the car looked at the same day. I called around a bunch of shops, and Matt was the only one willing to squeeze me in the same day. He quickly figured out the issue, ordered the part, fixed it within the day, and charged a fair price. I recommend this shop!Service: Oil change

I highly recommend MJR Auto for repair work. Recently, the day before I was going on vacation my car broke down. I called Matt and he worked me into their busy schedule. I live in Minneapolis but was recommended by a friend to have my car checked out here. My car developed a noise and had a shimmy on the highway. I am always a little hesitant to try a new mechanic but glad I did. Matt quickly diagnosed the issue as my wheel bearings. While my car was there, I also opted to get a new set of tires and an oil change. I couldn't be happier with the price, service, and professionalism. A friend recommended Matt to me for an auto-repair i urgently needed and it was a friday, whereas majority of mechanics have the weekend off. Miraculously Matt called me on the same weekend and said my vehicle's alternator was replaced and i could pick it up. He gave me a very generous price for my needed replacement and even gave me a lift from my apartment, to his shop and vice versa. I'm very glad to have found a mechanic i will continue to utilize in the future for my vehicle's maintenance work and future repairs if need be. They fixed the shocks in my car and, later on, replaced my transmission. I was very satisfied with both jobs! Matt was very personable, asked good questions, explained what he was going to do, said he'd call me with what he found and would share an estimate before he did the work. He patiently and accurately answered all of my questions. His fixes were done well and reliably. Matt is amazing. My car stopped working on the corner across from his shop- called him to let him know I was getting a tow. He went to try to start the car himself without luck, but was communicative while I was at work waiting for a tow.Got the car towed to his shop- over the Christmas holiday, he got the parts ordered and fixed it by the following Tuesday. Friday car stopped working and by Tuesday I had it back and he was very communicative with the diagnostic, pricing, and expectations. Love his shop and will be using in the future!Service: Brakes

Owner is rude. Tried to deliver a part there, wanted to pay with a starter check, my boss said he needed a credit card, then the owner tried to pay with another check from a different account n when boss wouldn't accept it, told me to load the engine myself. Mind you, they didn't have a cherry picker or anything so we had to originally lift it out by hand. When we wouldn't accept his sky l cheek, he told me to figure it out myself on how to load it back into the truck cause he wouldn't let his people help. Mins you, I'm a 50 yr old woman that just had a surgery and isn't suppose to be lifting anything. Wonder how he treats his customers.

I've been getting my car serviced here for the past 7 years and these are the only mechanics that I can trust! They stand behind their work and don't offer services that aren't necessary. They vacumm your car and wash the windows with each oil change. There's a reason they've been family owned and around for so long. These guys get customer service!

Fantastic shop, these guys were so nice and knowledgeable. I always bring my Nissan to them but recently I took my beater car in to get fluids before trying to start it for the first time in years. They found some extensive problems and told me before doing any of the work.

Our 2014 Traverse needed a front headlight. I called a number of different places and the BEST quote (by far) was Fairchild's! Family owned, we will definitely be patronizing them again! They are also a gas station!

Sure it has gas, but NO BATHROOM. I work on the road all day so I go to gas stations for 3 things: Gas, Caffeine, and Bathroom. In this day and age this is uncommon the only gas station I have been to without one in 5 years and I even drive out of state regularily. I DID appreciate your door sign which saved me a minute or 2.

I've never used the mechanic's service. The gas station is fine and I appreciate the free air though it is unavailable when they are closed.
