I recently visited Midas Automotive on East Lake Street, and I was thoroughly impressed and felt assured for their maintenance work done on my car. Really great and thorough experience. First time getting my oil changed at a shop instead of doing it myself since I was having a pretty busy month and it ended up being cheaper, faster, and of course easier than if I had done it myself. They also did a free inspection of the rest of my truck and let me know what I needed to do based on priority, and they would have rotated my tires for free as well if I didn't have bad wheel bearings that needed to be replaced first. Jose helped me out a lot at the front desk and was excellent and went way out of his way with service. I think Elvis did the oil change and inspection of my car and was incredibly thorough. Took maybe an hour for everything and I just got lunch down the street to pass the time since there is a lot to eat on Lake. Might stop changing my own oil now :)

Great service as always. Jonathan was particularly helpful in getting me a better deal after I learned about a rule change that would've cost me more to get the job done, so extra thanks to him for that. Been using these folks for years, and they continue to take good care of my car, will always recommend.

There is something to say about having a trusted mechanic! These guys are the best. I feel like I always get honest information about what's going on with my vehicle. I feel that the service and the pricing is reasonable not to mention the very friendly service.Up until 5 years ago, I've always had a family member service my car my entire driving career, 37 years!!. Now I am happy to trust the mechanics at Midas. I appreciate you guys!!

Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable. They take their time, which isn t alway a bad thing, but when in a time crunch it s a little annoying. They do charge more than other places, hopefully the quality makes up for it. Aside from the money, an overall good experience.

Got my leaking tire fixed! They were able to fit me in at the end of the day. I recommend coming here. Second time using them for my vehicle. Courteous and speedy service.

Car shops can be traumatic, expensive, and a total scam most times. Midas took us in quickly, fixed our car with excellence, broke down every price, and answered every question with humility and patience. They were professional, but never made us feel like just customers. Thank you for treating our cars like yours. If I could give 6 stars I would.

went there initially to get a brake inspection only & left with my problem fixed and an appointment for an oil change. I was greeted as soon as walking in. jose was the employee who helped me, very friendly and great customer service, he explained everything that was going to be done to my car in a way i could understand as well as what was actually wrong with my brakes, rather than saying a whole bunch of mechanical terms i couldn t understand. he made me feel like a very important customer even though there was many others in the waiting room with me, yet was still able to help others as well as myself! the actual process of the whole thing was less than 2 hours which was awesome! i ve been to many other places that took hours to do one simple job! definitely recommend coming here to get work done on your car.

Great customer service. I was late 30 minutes for an appointment but they still served me with no problems. Had new tires and brakes done by with no issues.

Johnathan was so knowledgeable and helpfull. I ve been bringing my car here for about a year now. He always takes good care of me. I never feel like he is trying to get over on me financially. I won t bring my car any place else. These guys rock! If your on the fence about Midas on lake street just make sure you talk to Johnathan. He will treat you like you re a part of the family.

Had a couple different issues with my car. Employees were very efficient, helpful and patient when I asked a lot of questions. They made sure I understood what was wrong and what were possible solutions. Very satisfied with my experience.

Someone stole my catalytic converter this week and I was in a panic to get it fixed. I know the waits at auto shops are usually a few weeks out, but the guys here saved me in less than 24 hours. Fantastic service, busy location and fair pricing. Jose especially and I forget the other man's name (the one with the really cool eyes) were absolute champions. Thanks so much for going above and beyond and fixing up my poor violated car, haha. Will be coming back for sure!

Fast service and great attitudes! Called today and they were able to get me in TODAY, rotate my tires and they also reset my TPMS to the new rotations. Only took 30mins. Definitely will be returning.

Had to squeeze in a last minute oil change before a work trip and Midas on Lake Street managed to fit me on same day despite being pretty busy. Jonathan was efficient and helpful throughout the whole process. Will be back for future car service needs!

Worst mechanics. They did a diagnostic on my car, said thermostat was the issue. I told them I had a warranty, they did not contact the warranty company!!.. I went ahead and contacted warranty company. Midas was charging me $940 for a thermostat repair!! Insane and the warranty wasn't paying either. Midas was never in contact for three-day. After three-day I called Midas and found out the price amount.I decided to take my car elsewhere and got a better estimate

Girlfriend and I just moved from California, Midas was informative and got back go us right away. They send pictures of any other issues they noticed with your car. Would recommend.

We've been customers of Midas for over 20 years but a recent experience will have us looking for some place new. I was excited to get in quick for an oil change and then was presented with a list of everything wrong for about $3K including two front tie rods. Felt like a scare tactic and also taken advantage of as a woman. Took the car for a second opinion and found out it wasn't tie rods at all. Trust in Midas will be hard after that experience.

this place highly recommend. I didn t have to get any work done, for another shop did work to it and still under warranty. They didn t charge me diagnostic fee. Super great guy see John!

Great place for service. Had an oil change and they explained to me with a digital inspection about the issues and maintenance my vehicle needs. Highly recommend David Lara and this team. The technicians are also hilarious and friendly.

I was from out of town and had some bolts fall out from a panel under my car. Of course as a busy single mom with 3 kids in the car I was freaking out about what to do. These guys were awesome and got me in right away to help me out and fix the problem. They were friendly and knew what they were doing to get me back on the road.

That said we checked you car. They don't even move my car from parking lot. And they charge me $29. For nothing. The worst customer service ever never go back to that place. Dec, 15 ,2023. The person who works in frond desk is very rude he don't know how to communicate. Very un professional. I don't recommend at all. Resist.

Jose Galeana Clemente took excellent care of me! I recently took my car for an oil change at Valvoline. The next day my heat stopped working, the engine was smoking, and fluids were leaking on the pavement. I was terrified that my car was ruined and I'd have to buy another vehicle during the holidays. Jose helped walk me through all of my concerns and got everything fixed right away. He kept me updated on the status and made sure I was comfortable with everything before I left. I'm very happy and will definitely be a returning customer!

I had an inspection on my car at Midas on lake st. Very friendly staff, and received a very honest, understandable feedback. I saw pictures of what needs to be done, and received a text on information.Very satisfied.
