Top notch customer service and communication. They took time to explain everything. They dealt with the insurance company and I was happy to not be involved. It took extra time to get my car back because they refused subpar parts. The new bumper is great and the paint job is perfect. You d never know someone rear ended it.

I am in shock considering I work in customer service. The lady who answered the phone absolutely disgusted me with how she spoke to a customer on the phone. She was yelling at him and told him to call his insurance and hung up when he asked for her name. I just got my BMW fixed at Raymond auto body I would recommend going with them if you don t want to deal with trashy people- I would fire this lady in a heartbeat.

Worst shop I've ever worked with. Here are my reasons:Terrible Communication - I was told it would take up to 3 weeks. It ended up taking 6 weeks. I had multiple times where I was told I would be called back and then never was. I always had to call for updates. I was also told that it would be the next day for about a week and a half straight. They realized they couldn't find a rim on Friday and then waited until Monday to call me and pick out differnt ones. I feel like I'm forgetting a lot because it was awhile ago.Lack of knowledge/Incompetence - Easily the worst mechanics I've ever dealt with. My vehicle had 20" rims on that ended up being replaced with a new set. Theo told me that he couldn't find any of my rims because they were "aftermarket." I knew for a fact that they weren't because I see SQ5's with the same exact rims more often that not. They are the standard. Anyways, he argues with me over and over that the default size is 19" rims. I had to explain to him over and over again why 19" rims would make all 3 sets of tires I own completely worthless and he didn't seem to understand why that was a problem even after I explained multiple times that then I would have to buy new tires for it and he still just didnt' understand. I looked it up. 20-21" is the standard. I have the default size, you can actually go up to 21" from the factory. You can't however, go down to 19" like he said was the "default" that would actually be aftermarket. On top of all of this, the rims he sent me (the 19") were used and beat up for almost a grand and I found brand new awesome ones that actually fit for $1400. There were many sets of brand new ones for less than the beat up used ones he sent me a list of. I thought that was all pretty crazy to deal with from a shop. Now today, I am getting my brakes serviced at Audi. They call me to tell me that I have one brand new tire on my car. No big deal right? YES. 3/4 tires at 4/32 and the other one is at 9/32 which can totally destroy my transmission and they didn't even mention that to me or think "Hey, maybe we should let him know that we put a new one there so he can replace the other 3 as well so he doesn't ruin his car's transmission." it's pretty common knowledge that you can buy 2 new tires if you have FWD or RWD. With AWD you NEED to replace all 4 at the same time. But there is no instance that you should ever replace one tire on ANY car and especially and AWD vehicle. Absolute incompetence.

I was involved in a car accident which I was deemed not liable for. The insurance took care of me and paid for my rental and the damages. I decided to go by my insurance's recommendation to get it fixed at Master Collision. I have to say, I had a really great experience with these guys. I love the fact that they have text communication with you whenever they install a part, run into an issue, or have to change the time it will be fixed. Yes, there were some minor delays, but stuff happens. I'm not sure why others are complaining about lack of communication, because I was getting texted EVERYTHING. I absolutely love that. This was without a doubt the smoothest experience I've had with getting a vehicle repaired. They even went the extra mile and shined up my interior! 10/10 these guys are awesome and even though I didn't have to pay anything, it's still worth every penny!Service: Body & Trim

Fixed my car in 2 days and took the time to buff out scratches that weren't part of the quote. They went above and beyond and I really appreciate that!

They are a certified small neighborhood shop with a Big Heart eager to put your vehicle back together with restored value!Their prices are very reasonable and everyone is cheerful and eager to help.I went their for a bumper replacement, the estimate was straight with no hidden surprises. The bumper is back to new looking awesome.I would recommend my Mother to go there for vehicle repairs.I hope not seeing them anytime soon, But when and if I need their help Master Collision is where will go!Services: Auto body & trim repair, Body & Trim, Auto body & trim replacement

Similar to several other reviewers experience, ours was characterized by multiple significant delays and extremely poor communication. They made us pay for a new car battery even though the original died when the vehicle was in their position (no issues with the battery prior to dropping it off at the shop). Also, the infotainment screen in our vehicle looks like it was wiped with a rag that had some sort of solvent on it (the screen now has permanent splotches on it). Simply a terrible experience with this shop, would not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

We just had our car repaired here and had a fantastic experience. Everyone we worked with was very nice & helpful, the car was done quickly and on time, and they even accommodated a late pickup when we were going on vacation. Everything was above and beyond and we will always use Master Collision in the future!

My car was involved in a hit and run in the winter, and I decided to go through insurance to get it repaired, even though I knew it would be a headache. As a young woman, I am always wary of car shops, because I often experience condescension and disrespect in these settings.I chose Master Collision Minneapolis South, because it was an approved repair shop through State Farm. I wish I would ve done more research.Working with Master Collision Minneapolis South was an awful experience. They told me it would be a week to fix the my vehicle. After waiting a week and a half, I was told by Pernell Bump that it would be ready by Wednesday afternoon (5/17). I left work early on 5/17, and when I arrived around 4:15, I was told that it wasn t quite done and was made to feel like I was rushing them, even though I was told it would be ready at that time. I was asked to come back for another appointment, so that they could finish the final scans and to fix a mechanic s error. When the mechanic was fixing my bumper, he somehow prevented my left window from fully going down. When Pernell told me about this new problem, I felt like I was being talked down to, and there were a lot of excuses and blamed being placed elsewhere. He kept winking at me and calling me hun, which added to the condescension. I didn t hear any accountability being taken or any sort of acknowledgement/apology, even though they overpromised/underdelivered and created an additional car issue in the process.I woke up early today (6/5) to bring my car back for the final fixes (scans/fixing the window). As I waited in the lobby, I heard angry yelling on 2 different occasions. At one point, a worker appeared to be getting chastised or fired. At another point, an employee and customer appeared to he yelling at each other. I don t know the details of these interactions, so I won t jump to any conclusions, but I felt uncomfortable and unsafe while waiting in the waiting room. It doesn t feel like a respectful and healthy work environment, and I feel sorry for the lower level workers here. I ll leave it at that.Today s fixes were only supposed to be quick, but I ended up waiting for 2 hours. The only good part of my experience was the receptionist, Jennifer. She was sweet, polite, professional, and calm. She deserves a more respectful work environment.I will not be coming back again, and I will warn my friends and family from patronizing this shop. I often fear I m overreacting to negative experiences, but in this case, there were so many red flags that I felt I needed to write this.Service: Body & Trim

Had a great experience working with the folks here to repair the steering column after a break-in. The process of working with them through my insurance was seamless. Can't recommend them highly enough.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THIS COMPANY. 0 COMMUNICATION. They never returned a single phone call in 10 weeks. Did the same to my insurance company. Had to get my truck moved to another shop finally. This IS NOT MULROYS...even though they kept Mulroys outgoing voice-mail. Worst repair shop experience of my life. This place is an embarrassment to the southside and to good mechanics and body shops. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE!

Master Collision in South Minneapolis was unprofessional, uncommunicative and misleading. I was involved in a hit and run and took my car to master collision as instructed by my insurance company.I was told by my insurance company that I would get an estimate before work was done on my car. I dropped off the car on the morning of 4/19 and was told to sign a form so that they could take a look at my vehicle. The form did not contain an estimate or an amount that I would be responsible for paying.I did not receive a phone call or any updates from them and had to call them late in the day for an update. At which point they told me that the parts were already ordered and that I would not get my car back until Friday.I did not receive an estimate from anyone until 4/21 at which point the work on the car was already done and I was responsible for paying $1000.When I called Master Collision they said that their process was that they don't do estimates and that they just schedule repairs, since I had already signed the work authorization and the job had been done that I was responsible for paying the repairs.Had I received the estimate beforehand or if the process was clearly explained I would not have authorized the repairs. I understand that I signed the authorization form and that is my fault for not reading the form carefully. However in any other situation in which you would receive a service you are told ahead of time what the cost and have the process clearly explained so that an informed decision can be made. This ultimately is a learning opportunity for me but I would strongly recommend seeking services elsewhere.

You will not find a more professional group of people than those at Master Collision. They were as kind as could be, were very thorough in their explanation of what was necessary to fix my car, and at the end of the day kept my costs under the estimate. You never want to have to go to a collision shop, but if I ever need to again, I won t go anywhere else.

They took three weeks longer than estimate, and did not call me about delays. I had to repeatedly reach out to them as three different deadlines went by to ask why my car wasn't done. Delays I understand, but not communicating those delays gets a one-star review from me.The work was a door and front quarter panel, mirror, handle, dinged from a hit and run. Could have been done in two days instead of a month if they'd ordered parts in advance and gotten the order right.Services: Side view mirror repair, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto body & trim replacement

Nobody likes dealing with auto repair, but I could not have been more impressed with Mulroy's. I had some damage to the rear passenger-side door and quarter panel and wanted to have it repaired at a reputable shop. I'm happy that I found Mulroy's.Scheduling an appointment with reception was easy and I was able to get an appointment setup much earlier than I expected. The receptionist was professional and made me feel welcome when dropping off my car.H.H. (using initials because I don't want to give out someone's full name) was also a true professional. We looked at the car together and he gave a breakdown of what kind of work they would do, an accurate timeline, and an overview of how insurance would be involved. Throughout the process, he kept me updated and I always felt like my car was in good hands.Overall very happy with the experience and would have no problem coming back.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had someone steal my catalytic converter, came to this Master Collision to have it replaced. Not only did they take my car right away during a busy time of year, but reached out to multiple sources to find parts for my car right away, and have them brought in within a couple of days. The guys at the shop kept me updated consistently, and when I started my car again, it ran even quieter than it had ran before the theft. Quick, polite, and efficient service.

I was recommend to Mulroy's by my insurance company. They were AWESOME. They provided transportation home for me after dropping off my car and were easy to get a hold of for information when my car was being repaired. On the day of pick up, they brought my car back into the shop a half hour before I arrived to make sure it was warm and our lovely Minnesota snow had melted off. My car was in better shape and cleaner than before my accident!

Great communication with the receptionist, she was fantastic at explaining things and being flexible with timing. Also very quick calls back when I needed to leave a message. Made the whole process much less stressful. Note: I did not end up getting any work done here since the car ended up being totalled so I can't speak to the quality of their work, just their customer service.

We ve had a Mini Cooper (twice on that one) and a few different Subarus in for repairs at Mulroy s and they ve been aces every time. Everyone I ve interacted with there has been only helpful and friendly, which matters all the more when you re dealing with the inconvenience of a car that s been mashed up. They have been great with communicating throughout the process and their work has always been exact.I obviously hope I don t need to be a customer again anytime soon but they ll be my choice the next time. No question.

I was t-boned in February, and Mulroy's was able to get me in for a quote and estimate in very short time! The work was completed ahead of schedule and they were even nice enough to have a loaner vehicle since I don't have that service with my insurance. They worked great in communicating with my insurance and with me. For as much of a hassle that getting in accident was, the best decision I made was going to Mulroy's for the auto body repair.

Had a great experience doing business with Mulroy's Body Shop. Everyone was polite and very eager to help. Husein was the associate who helped me and I didn't have to wait at all. He was able to provide me with a quote for what the body damage on my car would be and had it sent to me in less than an hour later. Ask for him, he is amazing!

My car was hit while parked and no note left. While that was awful, my experience with my insurance company (Progressive), Mulroy's and Enterprise was extremely painless. I was picked up at Mulroy's by Enterprise and was able to drop the rental car there once it was fixed. My car was ready in a week and they have a sweet pontoon lobby (for real). Such a great experience and such a great business.

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Mulroy's for the first time, and my overall experience was well above my expectations. The staff members I talked to were friendly and helpful, they were on time, and I was able to receive service updates via email and/or text. They made a typically annoying process very easy.

To be clear, I did not have work done at this body shop, but one doesn't have to get work done in order to still be treated badly and unprofessionally by a business or a representative of that business. I took my car to this body shop for an estimate and what I got was a shake down for personal information, like my insurance carrier, even though I was clear that I would not be going to go through my insurance. A guy named Chad finally looked at my car and promised that he'd get back to me in a couple of hours...It's been several days and I still haven't heard from this person. I have to say, I am actually glad he never got back to me. I feel that if this the kind of disregard I am getting when I am not an actual customer, I can only imagine how I'd be treated once they my money in their pocket! The time I spent waiting for Chad to get back to me, forced me to total-out my car through my insurance; even though I really wanted to keep it. A desire to keep my car was the reason I went to these people in the first place, so it's pretty sad and unfortunate that it ended this way, but a lesson learned. I placed all my eggs in one basket, when I should have gone to different shops for estimates, instead of counting on Mulroy's. I am not going to say whether I recommend this body shop or not, but you've read my story so you can draw your own conclusion.

Mulroy's came recommended by a trusted mechanic- he did not steer me wrong. Start to finish the process was smooth. Final verdict- my car was ready ahead of the promised day, came in just under the estimate and looks great. From the get go, the people I spoke with gave me confidence that I had made a good call going here and I was not disappointed. If there was any aspect I'd change, longer hours would be nice, 8-5 M-F is reasonable, but not super convenient. Barring that, I give them an A+ and I know where I am taking my car the next time I need a body shop.

I've had four vehicles repaired by Mulroys in the last 8 months. They do a great job. The repairs were reasonably priced, the staff communicates well and their customer service is stellar. All the repairs were done in a timely way. I'll be using Mulroys again in the future.
