Glad to have a great guy like Iggy in the neighborhood. Fixed my issue and didn t upsell me on stuff I don t need, but drew attention to that which I do. (And it s legit, I brought it to my gearhead buddy with a lift who said [my specific issue] is the only thing you need done at the moment. ) Highly recommend.

Iggy and his other mechanic replaced a radio in my car that was damaged by another business. The cost of the parts and labor were extremely reasonable, and he was able to take care of me fairly quickly. I really appreciated the work he did and will definitely be back.

Iggy's auto repair has done multiple repairs on our 2005 Toyota Corrolla. They are straightforward and always explain the repair being done. The costs for parts and labor are reasonable and there are no suprise charges. By far the best "person" to do the job right! He's honest, funny, and a really cool "down to earth" type of guy!I've been to him 3 times and he's never tried to "gouge" my pockets....and l've never waited more that an hour for the repair! He has very reasonable costs.I have no complaints He is to be appreciated as a business man, and a mechanic!#ThankYouIggysAutoRepair

Fantastic mechanic! I've been taking my cars to Ignacio for years. He always takes great care of them, and is willing to give advice. If your car needs more than one thing repaired, he'll tell you what order to do them in and when you should have them done by. I really appreciate that.

My car broke down while I was visiting my sister. I was stuck in Minneapolis and needed to get home to pick up my kids. I called Iggy's, randomly - no referral - and left a message and was about to call the next one on the list, whey Iggy called me back (almost immediately) and said he could get my car right in to diagnose the problem. He showed me what the problem was by video text and explained it to me in person, as I looked at the car on the hoist, and told me how long and what it would cost to fix it - both very reasonable. And, he followed through - got my car in right away, fixed it in a timely manner, and charged me exactly what he told me he would charge - no added fees or other surprises. And, they were very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs car repair. Mechanic was honest with me. Shop closes at 6 he stayed late to finish my car for the weekend. Not too many other shops are you able to get that service at!!! The price he quoted me was the price I got charged. He didn't charge me extra for him staying late or going to Apple Valley for my part. I found my new mechanic!!Service: Brakes

Iggy was super helpful by squeezing my car pretty much broke down car into his already packed schedule. I ended up bringing the car to Honda dealership, due to the problem being the a faulty transmission. Which thankful my car was under warranty. Even though I didn t get any service physically done by Iggy, he still reach out to me to check in and make sure my car was good to go.Service: Transmission

Iggy s came at the recommendation of my landlords when I told them I needed to find someone to fix a coolant leak. He sent me a detailed text message, along with helpful pictures that clearly showed where the leak was come from, what parts needed to be replaced, and was knowledgeable in providing me with a useful solution while saving me some money! While I hope I don t have any issues with my car for a long time, I ll definitely give this place a call the next time I have a problem.

Called about my car's symptoms, they had it diagnosed and repaired next day (coils/ plugs). Came in under the estimate and charged a fair price. Will use this business again

---original review---Great mechanic. Have always had a good experience bringing my car there.**10-month-update**tl;dr Ignacio is super awesome and his 2nd mechanic also seems to know his stuff and they do good honest work..I've been in this neighborhood since 2017. I used to roll in a 08 mazda3 that ran steel wheeled low-profile winter tires. EVERY winter I had them, a large pothole or two would dent the rim enough to bleed air. Called one local shop, they said they couldn't do it, tried another and no luck there either.Called Iggy's Auto and he said he'd give it a try. Steel you can just bang out with literally a hammer.He got it done, charged me $20 and it happened another 4 times and always went back to him. No fuss, no haggles or annoyances, he just got it done and I was out the door..Fast Forward to a new basketcase I own and he's helped me track down a few gremlins all at a reasonable price and with reasonable turnaround..I probably shouldn't give such a glowing review because if he gets too busy I might have to wait longer for fixes OR he moves to a bigger garage from all the business!.The little waiting area got a makeover a year or so ago, before it was just a room with a few pieces of sheetrock on it, at least now there's a little TV to distract you for a few minutes while you wait for him to write up the paperwork..His sidekick I haven't seen too much but we talked shop for 5-10 minutes discussing charging failures/alternators/security systems. He used to work for a car alarm company doing electrical, seemed like a solid dude and he was there just about on time to open the shop lolol. Hey summer hours ya sleep in sometimes..I worked my first few jobs in mechanic shops, I know how bad mechanics operate. I saw of them too often while stocking parts shelves at 15years old. The procrastinator, the guy that fixes just the bare minimum without caring about the longterm solution, the guys that try to sell you on things you don't need, jacking up prices for labor when they were eating lunch half the time. All that junk.... I don't see it at Iggy's and that's why I keep going there..Solid rates that you expect from a good mechanic around $80 or $100 an hour. (I think, I lost my last bill) These are mechanic hours btw, I struggled to get a serpentine belt on for 3-4 hours by myself... He got my alternator belt on in about 35-40 minutes(after I snapped the one I overtightened). He can do that with his eyes closed probably :) and that's a good thing.

I had a bad steering creak in my car, and wondered if it was unsafe. I left it with another shop to get an estimate and diagnosis. They basically wanted to shotgun parts at the whole front end for over a grand. Then I took it to Iggy for a second opinion. He correctly diagnosed it on the spot for me in literally 60 seconds, and repaired the exact problem by appointment, which cost about a quarter of what I would have spent at the other place. Drives great now, totally silent, what a relief. You can have some other joker take an expensive guess with your car, or take it to someone with the years of experience and methodology to correct the ACTUAL problem, like Iggy. They re affordable and honestly the best car shop I ve been to so far. They repaired my exhaust leak & o2 sensor for a good price. A lady from Autozone named Caroline referred me to them. These guys are the greatest! Quick service, very respectful and I ended up paying less than I thought. An honest car repair place. What a concept! They did a great job on my brakes/rotors.Again took my car in for repairs. I was shocked at how little they charged and the good job. Ignacio is so trustworthy. He doesn't try to upsell. He does the job and doesn't mess around.

Literally just left his shop driving my car that had a major coolant leak! So happy to find this place as they were quick and easy to work with, SO REASONABLE WITH PRICING, and very close to home (if you live in Longfellow this a very convenient location). Highly recommend

Had him remove a half dozen bolts that were stuck in the frame, he needed to use a torch to get them out, something I could not do. The code was well worth the time and aggravation it saved me.

Iggy is a owner operator, two technicians on his team. He is very personable and will meet job requirements with. A little communication inconsistancy at time but he's patient and is willing to get it right. Hard worker Good quality.

This man is honest and always gave me straight answers. Many auto mechanics would take advantage of women but he does not. For example; I told him that i think i need a new tire and he could have over charged me for one and i would have paid it, becasue thats what i thought i needed. And this has happened to me many times. He said, " no you dont, it is a good tire, you just need a patcb job" charged me $20. Wow. I will not go to anyone else. Highly recommend him and i refer all my girlfriends to him. He is honest and runs his shop with integrity.

I always come here when I need something done. They can usually accommodate me last minute. Honest shop that will take the time to show you what they did and why. They have also told me when repairs are unnecessary! How many shops would be that honest with you?

This is not a P/C shop ... The shop is not spotless ... This is a working shop, things are dirty and there is banter between the workers ... and they will go out of there way to do a quick fix on a drive in. I needed a stabilizer bolt taken off, they had it torched off by the time I walked to the corner store and back, $25 cash, good to go. Will be bringing my car back here for things that I can't do or am stuck on.

Small shop big mouth. Rather than going to corporate stores I went here to do a small fix. I like promoting small business but if you overcharge your customers it not going to end well. take away would be to clearly ask how much will you charge me to fix this ? or even better , avoid this place
