I was treated with the best customer service possible. I was overjoyed when I was told that they had located a used transmission with reasonable mileage. A little over 3 weeks later and about 470 miles, they had me come back for the 500 mile checkup. Good results, N/C. I added some work to the rear end, removing cover, check gears, and refill with full synthetic fluid. I was pleased with the cost and the warm conversation. Would consider them again and recommend.Service: Transmission

I was between a rick and a hard place when my cars differential was destroyed 80 miles from home. The staff here were friendly, helpfull and understanding of my situation. While we knew it probably wasnt in my budget to fix they gave me an exact diagnosis which allowed me to decide on totalling my car. They were helpful and tried to help me finding cheaper parts but I just didnt have the money. In the end I needed a ride home so I sat in their office for 2 hours waiting for a ride and they were very friendly, accomidating and just all around wonderful people. I called a few scrap yards and my best iffer was $50 for the car, I asked the staff here and they gave me some numbers to call and I found someone willing to pay $250 for my car. Thanks to the staff here I managed to make 5 times the money on my scrap car and were just all around helpful in my situation.

We have been referring customers from our auto shop to Hage-Kobany for years as we do not do transmission work. They are always very straightforward and fair. Hage-Kobany did just the work that was needed and nothing more. They replaced a transmission valve for $2300; they told us the rest of the transmission is fine. They could easily have recommended a new transmission at about $8000. We appreciate their integrity.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I experienced problems with my 1972 Riviera transmission and wanted an honest, old school type business for diagnosis and repair. A friend highly recommended Hage-Kobany because "they are honest and won't try to sell you things that aren't broke!" I made the one hour drive and am glad I did. Brandon at the front desk processed me very quickly and professionally. Andrew and Kevin listened to my concerns and found the issues. The necessary repairs were made for a fair price. I was particularly impressed with their depth of knowledge! My take? An honest, well ran family business. Highly recommend!Service: Transmission repair

Update: Brought yet another car to these guys and as usual, shot me straight, fixed the issue and at a reasonable rate. Mark was awesome to work with and I trust these guys 100%. I would continue to highly recommend them!These guys are a great example of why you work with specialists. I had a very difficult transmission problem and they provided an option the Inifinti dealer didn't and it saved me thousands of dollars. A month into it the car is running great and Jeff Hage is a very high integrity person. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Cheers, Luke

These guys saved my 2008 ford explorer, the rear heater core was leaking and there are no replacements available, They by passed the rear heater core and there's still a front heater so we'er good to go. Always great service from the crew, everytime. Brandon will set up your next service, and give you an honest estimate. Try these guys..you'll like um.

They have been my go to shop for almost all my repairs for the last few years and highly recommend them to anyone! They just replaced my transmission in my 2010 Nissan and is now running good as new. Let me say I ve been in the auto business for over 12 years and I ve never been more impressed with a shop, the front guy Brendan (hopefully spelt correctly) is awesome, clear communication and amazing customer service skills !! I'd had trouble with my 4wd activator for years - flaky whenever it got wet, but hard to reproduce so hard to fix. These folks finally found the raw wire harness that caused the problem and fixed it when others couldn't. Same with a shakey drive shaft installed by another shop - this shop went the extra mile with careful diagnostics and fixed the root cause. Great work.

I've brought my car in several times to Hage-Kobany and they always do a great job! The first time was because other shops told me there was nothing they could do to fix the issue my car was having. Hage-Kobany came up with a fix that worked great and charged me much less than I was expecting for the work. The guys here are professional, very honest and do great work for a great price. I won't take my car to anyone else. HIGHLY recommend.Services: Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Oil change

Horrible communication. My vehicle was towed here by AAA on a Friday early evening. It's Tuesday evening the following week and I have yet to get a call from ANYONE at this shop. Side bar, these people supposedly fixed my car by replacing a $550 solenoid on 10/6, my vehicle stalled out exhibiting the same issues on 10/15. Owner Jeff said he would have someone look at it on Monday morning 10/18 and apologized for his techs. It's now 10/19 with no word or follow up on why my vehicle has stopped after they serviced it now two weeks ago. AAA recommends this place and I am doing everything I can to have them re-evalute their recommendation of this place. Their reputation is on the line with this place! STAY AWAY! NOW, they are ignoring my calls!! I have left a message for the owner to resolve. Still waiting.......

Top of the transmission game these guys are very professional treat you with respect listen and execute the jobs in a timely manner and they are very pleasant to deal with definitely recommend them I wouldn't bring my transmission to another shop thanks guys for the work Kyle ... To the people that review this transmission shop and give it a bad rating because of price do not listen this is about how their workmanship is and what kind of professionalism they bring to this all I got to say is you get what you pay for you might be able to go down the road and get it at turbo Tim's for $1,000 but guess what it ain't the quality I guarantee it don't be mistaken these guys are the best around.! The process of getting a transmission replaced isn't exactly fun, but the team at Hage-Kobany made it as smooth as possible. They set realistic expectations on the timeline, had open communication and provided status updates, and never tried to over-sell or add on any unnecessary charges (which has been my experience at several other auto shops). I primarily worked with Austin, who was great!

The guys at Hage-Kobany are fantastic! They help me stay on top of regular maintenance, do their best to keep repairs economical, and stay in communication so that I always know what the expect when they have my vehicle in the shop. I never feel that they are trying to sell me anything- just sharing their knowledge on what needs to be worked on (or has potential to go wrong) and my options to fix it. Austin and the team at Hage-Kobany Transmissions and Auto Service, were great to work with. They kept in contact throughout the process and managed to figure out my vehicle issues. After purchasing my new, used vehicle, I was bummed to have it break down on me before I made it back home. Hage-Kobany helped me get back on the road as fast as possible!
