Parking spaces are really tight, the maintenance on the ramp could be better- as I can see spots in the concrete that are down to the seat bars. I have also noticed repeat issues with the pay stations which slows down exiting the ramp. I have also never seen any security or ramp employee at this site. Cost is more expensive than some other downtown ramps that are in better condition, I just have to walk a few blocks further. Early bird specials are up to $9 a day and I have found others at $7 a day.

I've had it with this place. Daily "early bird" parking is now up to $10, which marks the 3rd price increase over the last year. They keep raising prices and do nothing to improve the quality of the ramp, you can't use any other entrance to get back to your vehicle, the pay stations regularly stop working...clearly plenty of others feel the same, given the most recent reviews but the management just keep raising prices anyway.

If I could put zero, I would. The cost of parking is constantly raising. Now it is up to 10$ a day for early bird, and $157 for monthly. The terminals to get out are always down. And oftentimes the machine is broken and charges you $25 so you have to call the staff. This makes wait times so long to get out. On top of that, I've seen 7+ break ins in one day at this lot. Windows smashed, things shuffled around. The only perk was the skyway access, which will be lost when the old Wells Fargo building gets torn down soon anyways.

Sat for over 90 minutes without moving at all after an event at US Bank stadium. Maybe an ok place to park as a commuter, but avoid for event parking.

Spaces are way too tight. The stairwells are no longer open to walk up. Have had my vehicle damaged two times at this place.

Overpriced. Some stairways were locked so when we were returning him from an event, the lines for the elevator was super long. We had to walk up the ramp to our car.Took me an hour to exit this ramp after the event

Cortland Mill District Resident here.If you are looking at parking options as a resident, do not choose the gateway parking ramp. This is what residents were told in regards to parking during events in downtown:"Please keep in mind that the Gateway Ramp hosts event parking during events (Vikings home games, concerts, festivals). On the following dates your access card will not work from 4:00AM-10:00PM." So for an entire day, you cannot park your car where you pay to park. Are you serious, Gateway???Gateway ramp is more than happy to take your $180+ per month parking fee, but you cannot park your vehicle there during events in downtown... so when you need the parking the most...This is shameful and disgusting behavior from the management team of the ramp.

The other reviews made me nervous to try this ramp. But it worked out. Parked here Monday - Friday for a week 7:30am-5pm for $7 a day (early bird rate). Cheaper than St Paul parking. The checkout was easy, lots of open spaces, and the ramp connects to the heated skyway. It is a bit further away than some other ramps, and definitely not as new or kept up as other ramps, but the price can't be beat.

WORST PARKING EVERE. Went to a concert, parked here not understanding that it would take over 2 hours to get out of the ramp. No direction, no assistance, unclear payment mechanism. Ridiculous and I would NEVER park here again.

Please bring back iParkit App functionality to reserve and pay beforehand. Change of management has made things unfunctional - a friend of mine got charged $25 for 2 hours in the evening (posted signs said it should have been $4). Really disappointed by the changes.

I work downtown during daytime hours 6-4pm. This is easily the best priced ramp in the area of where I work. However, don t let that fool you! I ve contributed a lot of money for daily parking in this ramp. I made the poor choice to park here on a Sunday for work, during a Vikings game.. thinking that parking at 5:30am I wouldn t be paying the event parking rate- as most other ramps in the area won t charge you the event rate if you re parked there 3 hours prior to the event. WRONG. After calling and speaking with several people they were not willing to work with me at all, and I ended up paying the $25 dollar event rate instead of the $3 weekend rate. They re not interested in keeping their customers and are only trying to make their money! I ll pay more to park elsewhere!

I seldom park downtown, but do park in the Guthrie ramp when attending the theatre. I had a business appointment at 500 Washington, so googled Minneapolis parking. I clicked on the icon for the Gateway ramp and saw the positive reviews, as well as the rates.I parked in the ramp at ll:15 this morning and exited at 12:32. When I made my credit card payment for the one hour and 17 minutes that I was parked, I was charged $20.00. I thought there must be some mistake so I called the posted phone number and was transferred to another person where I left a message.I did receive a call back and was admonished for not going to the Allied Parking Inc. website, which I was told gave the correct parking rates. How was I supposed to know to go to a website for a parking company that I've never even heard of? According to the woman that I spoke with, it was my error for going to the wrong website, even though I informed her that the website I was directed to was for the Gateway ramp and posted rates 1-2 hrs for $8.00 etc.Obviously I will never park there again!

Not the cleanest ramp, but easy to get in and out. Daily cost (early bird) for those coming during the week for work is usual between $7-9.

What a scam! I parked their for the concert which was at US Bank stadium and they put a sign out "Event parking - $15". I parked there. When I exited the machine was showing $20 and a guy who was at the exit said it only shows $20, but it will charge you $15, like there was some issue on changing the amount. I asked for the receipt and he said there is no receipt I can get. So, I left and guess what, few days later checking my credit card and I was charged $20!! So frustrating! I called the number and I got transferred somewhere else and obviously nobody answered there, so I left a voicemail and nobody called me back. Really? Is this how they do business nowadays?

I've been parking here for four years and it's the most technology challenged ramp I've ever seen. The checkout is consistently having some type of problem. I write this after waiting an hour to get out on a normal working day because the gates stopped. All of them. Moreover their customer service is terrible - if you are fortunate to actually talk to someone.

Mothly Parker here. This ramp is in a good location and well connected to the skyway system. Its fully automated and you can get in and out with a credit card. Monthly parkers have the option of using the license plate readers which is pretty slick. Prices are reasonable for downtown. My only complaint is that sometimes the homeless take shelter in the stairwells, littering and relieving themselves there. Management has been slow to clean up the mess - took a month on one occasion.

Contract parking as a resident of Latitude 45, the building next door, there have been numerous car break-ins in the last 6 months. The ramp management is reluctant to do anything about it. DO NOT PARK HERE. YOUR CAR WILL GET JACKED. I ve had my car broken into twice in the last two weeks, both windows smashed and have seen numerous other vehicles with their windows smashed as well. The was nothing of value in the vehicle they were just destroying things for the fun of it. THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS RAMP IS WHACK and WILL NOT GET SECURITY MEASURES IN PLACE.

Ramp is clean easily accessible. Allied parking staff are helpful and efficient. The only negative is that to sign up for automatic monthly billing you email them your CC info which doesn't seem very secure.

The only benefit to this ramp is the location. I am a monthly contract parker and have had constant issues with their equipment. It just randomly stops working for no reason and then you have to call in to get things reset. As others have noted it frequently gets pretty gross with human waste and other trash in the stairwells. I never park anywhere other than the second level so I can take the skyway and avoid the stairwells.Patty should not be in a customer service role she is incredibly condescending and rude. She either needs additional training or should be moved to a role that doesn't include customer interaction.

Over this past weekend, my car and several others were broken into without anything being visible from the outside. The window was smashed and items were taken out of the center console. I spoke with others who live in my apartment building, and this seems like a common occurrence. I would not recommend parking in this garage until security is stepped up.

This ramp is a joke. The prices are absurd. My girlfriend parked in the ramp a little more than 30 hours and it cost 50.00 dollars. There is also no cost difference between over 1 hour, and 24 hours. After you've been parked here for more than an hour it automatically costs 25.00 dollars no matter what, and apparently 50.00 for over 24 hours. its a racket..

Parked here while dining at nearby Eastside... snow emergency in effect and was afraid to park on the street as plows were around. BIG mistake! $25 for 3 hours. Should have taken my chances of getting towed! It would have been cheaper!! Total scam!

Beware. Don't park here unless there is a very obvious posted event parking rate. They scammed hundreds of people at a church event into Paying $25 for a little over 1 hour of parking. Their policy is that their regular rate from 1-24 hours is 25 bucks. This is posted in tiny print that is not readable from your car. This is blantent price gauging.

Narrow space's all around. Credit card reader only works if you press the card flush against the reader. Payment app iparkit is very slick. Scary to get into when entry ramp is iced up.

Just charged $25 for parking for an hour + 15 minutes. The large at entry stated early bird rate only. Attendant told me that it costs $25/day and $5/15 minutes. It took 5-10 minutes just yo drive down 5 stories. Unfortunately, I work nearby, but will not return and will find another ramp or metered parking. Highway robbery.

Parked with a receipt stamped 8:59am. Early bird posted pricing of $9 before 9am. On exit was charged $26. Don't give these people your business. Plenty of other parking nearby at better rates.

$26 to park here during the week over happy hour. I was shocked. If I could give it zero stars I would. Other downtown ramps charge under $10 to park after 4 p.m.
